LOS ANGELES.–Best-selling author of “Uncharted: How Trump beat Biden, Harris and the Odds in the Wildest campaign in history” Chris Whipple documents 63-year-old actor George Clooney cussing out “Morning Joe” producer TJ Aspera for allowing show co-host Mika Brzezinski to say on air that former President Barack Obama influenced or was involved in Clooney’s July 10 oped in the New York Times that called for former President Joe Biden to drop out of the race. Apparently Clooney couldn’t control his mouth with Aspera. “F—k you!” Clooney yelled at Aspera according to Whipple’s book, a documentary filmmaker and former “60 Minutes” producer. Why Clooney cared if Mika had an opinion of who influence his oped is anyone’s guess. It certainly doesn’t match his currently Broadway role playing famous CBS newsman Edward R. Murrow in “Good Night and Good Luck.”
Clooney presents a controlled persona in his press interviews, not the one described by Whipple as someone ballistic over a very minor incident. “This is a morning talk show on a cable channel,” Aspera told Clooney. “Nobody gives a f—k if we say he should get out or if he should stay in. Nobody f—ing cares. It’s skywriting. It’s f—ing gone,” Aspera said to Clooney. Clooney, a past fund raiser for Biden and big backer of the Democrat Party, didn’t want his reputation blemished by Brzezinski claiming the Obama pushed him to write the oped or, worse yet, wrote it with his name on it. Democrats were reeling from Biden’s performance at the June 27, 2024 ABC News debate where he seemed frail and incoherent. Whipple’s book quotes Aspera saying, “George, I told you before, we’ll try and take care of it tomorrow morning. I promise you,” Aspera reportedly said.
Whipple said Clooney expressed doubt whether Aspera would do anything to rectify the apparently statement by Mika that Obama was somehow involved with Clooney’s oped. “I don’t know whether I trust you,” Clooney told Aspera. “Well, f—k you,” Aspera reacted. “If you don’t trust me, stop f—ing calling me,” Aspera said. When Clooney wrote the oped he caught hell from Biden’s handlers, accusing him of sabotaging his campaign. Joe was resisting at the time calls from prominent Democrats to drop out of the race for obvious reasons. White House officials in collusion with Democrats in Congress and the press covered up Joe’s age-related cognitive decline for years. They did everything possible to keep Joe away from the press to preserve his credibility. When the June 27 debate went down, it opened up a can of worms for Democrats covering for Biden.
Clooney said he wanted to tell the truth having known Biden for some time, while observing him since the debate carefully. “In the last four years, he’s [Biden] won man of the battles he’s faced. But he one battle he cannot win is the fight against time,” Clooney wrote in his New York Times oped. Clooney knew he had participated in the cover-up of Joe’s cognitive impairments like everyone else. Imagine what happened when former Special Counsel Robert Hur wrote his final report saying that Biden suffered from serious memory impairments and could not possibly face trial. White House strategist savaged Hur for saying anything about Biden’s fitness for a second term. Covering up for Biden for years was a usual-and-customary practice for White House officials and the press. Cloney was the first to come out and try to set the record straight about Biden.
Playing the role a cool customer in Edward R. Murrow on Broadway, Clooney showed for all to see he’s an insecure actor and Democrat Party activist putting Aspera through hell because of something Mika said on the air. “Who do you think it was? Who do you think it was? You can say the name. You won’t melt,” Joe Scarborough told Mika. “It’s not Voldemort. Are you saying you think Barack Obama put him [Clooney] up to it?” asked Scarborough. “I think that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes to orchestrate this,” said Mika, prompting Clooney to go ballistic. There was nothing in his oped that wasn’t already said about Biden? Printing it in New York Times meant the Times was done with the charade to cover up Biden’s cognitive impairments. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was secretly working to remove Biden.
Clooney has been exposed as a crude, irascible actor, dabbling in politics where he finds it convenient. His oped was the New York Times finally admitting that it had covered up Biden cognitive impairments for years. After the June 27 debate it was impossible to stop what 70 million Americans saw on national TV. That Biden was not fit for president let alone running for a second term. Biden’s White House cover-up team led by his wife Jill and sister Valerie Owen said there’s nothing wrong with Joe, the same message delivered by 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris after the June 27, 2024 debate. “Joe was sharp as a tack,” Kamala said, destroying her own credibility to voters. Clooney said the obvious in his oped that Joe was not the same person that ran in 2020. “He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” making the closing argument for Obama and Pelosi.
