LOS ANGELES.–Talking about their new book, “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” authors Hill political correspondent Amie Parnes and NBC News senior national politics Jonathan Allen said 78-year-old President Donald Trump questioned whether he should pull his punches in his June 27 ABC News debate with 82-year-old President Joe Biden. Parnes and Allen said Trump actively questioned whether he looked like a bully when Biden looked so incoherent at the debate. But Trump looked more amused than anything else, knowing he finally exposed to the public what he knew since the 2020 presidential campaign that Biden was not fit for office. Every Democrat operative, including Parnes and Allen, covered up Biden’s dementia, until the debate proved to the world it was not GOP hype. Democrats and press actively conspired to cover-up Biden cognitive impairments.
Performing in an extemporaneous debate was too much for Biden who barely got through perfunctory interviews or questions with a teleprompter. Whatever Biden’s condition after a long European trip, he ran out of excuses at the debate. How ironic that he asked his friend Dr. Anthony Fauci to say Biden had one bad night, most likely due to antihistamines for a common cold. Biden relied on all his communication team, including Vice President Kamala Harris, to continue to cover-up of his memory impairments. Democrats and the press viciously went after former Special Counsel Robert Hur when he released his final report Feb. 5, 2024 on Biden retention of classified documents. Hur said Biden was too memory impaired to stand trial so he decided to not press charges. Hur’s public comments were slammed by Democrats and the press for smearing Biden.
Parnes and Allen said Trump pulled his punches once he realized that Biden was mentally gone during the debate. But Parnes and Allen have a lot of nerve describing the situation as one of sympathy by Trump and others when they, along with the rest of the fake news, were actively involved in covering-up Biden’s cognitive impairments. “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” Trump said during the debate. “I don’t think he knows what he said either,” Trump said, exposing for all to see what he’s talked about for the last four years that Biden was not fit for the Oval Office. Parnes and Allen reported in “Fight” that Trump advisers Suze Wiles, Jason Miller and Stephen Miller were concerned that Trump didn’t take his debate prep seriously while Biden over prepared. When they all heard Biden, they expressed completed relief.
Parnes and Allen don’t want to admit they were part of the conspiracy to cover-up Biden cognitive impairments that imperiled the country for four years with horrendous decision making. What was Biden thinking when he decided after decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control to fund proxy war in Ukraine with the Kremlin? Did Joe think that would advance U.S. foreign policy and national security? Did his advisers, especially his national security team led by former Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, really think really think going to war with the Kremlin was in the U.S. best interests? Democrats and the press recently slam Trump national security team for an inadvertent mistake to let Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg see U.S. war plans in Yemen. How does that compare with the a disabled commander-in-chief?
Shedding no light on why Democrats decided to debate Trump so early in the campaign season, Parnes and Allen continue to cover-up Biden’s cognitive impairments. Saying White House Chief-of-Stat Jeff Zients and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) did not want Biden to debate Trump doesn’t address the clear plan in the Democrat National Committee to get Joe to drop out of the race. Certainly Joe’s wife Jill and his sister Valerie Owen didn’t want Joe to debate Trump early on in the election cycle. So, as Parnes and Allen avoids, there was a movement under foot at the DNC to expose Joe’s cognitive impairments for all to see. No matter how much Biden’s White House made excuses after the dabate, the damage was done, prompting Pelosi and former President Barack Obama to press Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race, something that took almost a month.
Parnes and Allen’s new book “Fight” deliberately obscures the role they played in covering up Biden’s cognitive impairments for the four years in office. Neither author admits the damage done to U.S. foreign policy and national security for Biden’s reckless decision to embroil the U.S. in a war with the Kremlin. When it comes to putting Trump in negative light, they’re good saying Trump was worried about the lack of attention he received following the debate. Trump wasn’t concerned about attention for himself he was concerned about Biden’s dangerous decision making that left the country fully exposed to world events without any Russian global cooperation. Democrats like to accuse Trump of obsessed with stealing the limelight when he wants what’s best for the economy and foreign policy. Democrats and press still haven’t owned their cover-up for Biden.
