LOS ANGELES.–After going back-and-forth on signing a $500 billion rare earth mineral deal with the United States, 47-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to the deal, something 78-year-old President Donald Trump wanted signed.  Zelensky had engaged Trump in a public spat over Trump secret peace dealings with Russia in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, excluding Ukraine for the European Union.  Zelensky took his frustrations out on Trump at the Munich Security Conference, accusing Trump of abandoning European security, while, at the same time, excluding Ukraine or the EU for any participation in the Ukraine War peace talks.  Zelensky didn’t tell the whole truth to the EU that he had been kept apprised of Trump’s work on behalf of a Ukraine War peace deal.  EU officials were also kept informed by the White House, despite all the fake news reporting.

If you listened to the fake news, you’d think Trump had excluded everyone in his headlong obsession to cut a peace deal with 72-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin.  Putin has his enemies in the U.S. Congress, EU and especially in Kiev where anti-Russian sentiment runs deep because of the war.  Zelensky’s decision to accept the multiyear $500 billion rare earth mineral deal will benefit Ukraine greatly with the U.S. having long-term business interests.  Zelensky felt it was the best way for the U.S. to assure a post-war security, not supplying EU or U.K. peacekeepers on Ukrainian soil that could run afoul with Putin.  “There is a general clause that says America will invest in a stable and prosperous sovereign Ukraine, that it works for a lasting peace, and that America supports efforts to guarantee security,” the kind of language Zelensky wanted in any deal.

Last week Zelensky rejected Trump’s proposal for a long-term rare earth mineral deal saying it didn’t have the security of Ukrainians in mind.  After his spat with Trump last week, Zelensky was told by Polish President Andrzej Duda that he should trust Trump and let him work his magic with a Ukraine peace deal.  Signing the deal Friday at the White House, Zelensky has professed his loyalty to Trump, despite all the former misgivings with Congress and the EU.  Some Republicans and Democrats in Congress still back Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine with the Kremlin, despite knowing there’s a new president and foreign policy.  Zelensky’s public misgivings led to more fake news, blaming Trump for selling Ukraine down the river, giving away the store to Putin.  Fake news has nothing good to say about Trump, including the rare earth mineral deal.

Zelensky plans to sign the rare earth mineral deal at the White House as a show of solidarity with Trump, something bound to irk the fake news.  Pulling of the rare earth mineral deal is a minor miracle for the U.S. and Ukraine, assuring the U.S. gets paid back for the billions it fronted Ukraine during the Biden years to wage war with the Kremlin.  Trump has taken a 180, moved quickly to normalize diplomatic relations with Russi, something that threw anti-Putin members of Congress for a loop.  Some Democrats and Republicans still back Biden’s policy of war with the Russian Federation.  Members of the EU haven’t caught up to Trump moving at lightening speed to strike the rare earth mineral deal and to end the Ukraine War.  EU officials were all brainwashed by Biden to think that Putin wants to take over more European countries, something that lacked any factual basis.

Trump worked hard to pull off the rare earth mineral deal, despite CNN and other fake news saying it would never happen.  Trump knew that if the U.S. and Ukraine were joined in a long-term business deal, it would be the best deterrence for another war. Under Trump’s leadership, Putin trusts Trump to have Russian interests in mind.  When Trump instructed his U.N. representative to veto a pro-Ukrainian measure calling for Russia to remove all troops from Ukraine, the fake news was horrified, blaming Trump for voting with the Kremlin and North Korea.  Trump did exactly the right thing to build more confidence with Putin as they move toward a peace deal in Ukraine.  Fake news wants perpetual war, mainly because Trump wants peace.  “He would like to sign it together with me, and I understand that—it’s a big deal, a very big deal,” Trump said.

When 47-year-old French President Emmanuel Macron met with Trump Feb. 24, he wanted to add his two cents that Trump should get tough with Putin.  But Macron knows he doesn’t have to advise Trump on anything, he knows what he’s doing.  Russia stands to get an economic boom from peace in Ukraine with Trump ending all Russian sanctions, including the Russia oil embargo.  Flooding world market with cheap Russian oil should bring down the price of petroleum all over the globe, reducing prices for consumers in the U.S. and EU.  Trump knows that part of the runaway U.S. inflation had to do with inflated energy prices.  Bringing down energy prices should reduce inflation for the near term, making it more affordable to land goods by air, land and sea.  Ending the Ukraine War benefits everyone, especially in Europe where the battle has been waged for three years.
