LOS ANGELES.–President Donald Trump’s 76-year-old brief but discredited former National Security Advisor John Bolton [2018-2019] now criticizes Trump peace plan with 72-year-old Russian  President Vladimir Putin.  “President Trump has effectively surrendered to Putin before the negotiations have begun,” Bolton told CNN host Kaitlan Collins. Bolton appears regularly in the fake news criticizing Trump, working with the Kamala campaign in the 2024 presidential race. Bolton can’t stand Trump for firing him Sept. 10, 2019 for advising the president to start a war with Iran among other places.  Bolton appears regularly in the fake news slamming Trump, serving the Democrat-friendly fake news. Bolton likes to accuse Trump, like Democrats, of colluding with Putin, the same accusations former Secretary of State Hillalry Rodham Clinton made in her fake “Steele dossier.”

Bolton acts like a tough anti-communist, supporting Biden’s war with the Kremlin, no matter how it destroyed U.S.-Russian relations.  “The positions that the Defense Secretary [Pete] Hegseth announced in Brussels, which I’m sure—I’d be stunned if Trump didn’t convey them directly to  Putin in their phone call—constitute terms of a settlement that could have been written in the Kremlin,” Bolton told Collins.  Bolton was in heaven when Biden decided to fund proxy war with the Kremlin to defend Ukraine.  “Maybe they were written in the Kremlin and go out in propaganda channels,” Bolton said.  Bolton would do anything to sabotage Trump’s foreign policy that seeks to restore normal U.S.-Russia diplomatic relations. Bolton wants to keep the U.S. in a state of war with the Kremlin, backing the perpetual Ukraine War that cannot be won by the Ukraine.

Beyond ending the Ukraine War, Trump wants to restore normal diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation.  Before Biden opted to fund proxy war with the Kremlin, the U.S. and Russia were considered cooperative partners, working on common global goals, including stability in the Mideast, Asia and Africa.  But since Biden funded proxy war with the Kremlin, U.S.-Russian relations deteriorated to the lowest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.  “No one wants peace more than Ukraine, Zelensky wrote after a call with Trump. “Together with the U.S. we are charting out next steps to stop Russian aggression and ensure as lasting, reliable peace,” Zelensky said, hinting he would oppose any attempt by Trump and Putin to end the war without Ukrainian consent. Trump has told Ukraine that the U.S. no longer supports proxy war with the Kremlin, for whatever reason.

Zelensky wants a “lasting, reliable peace,” but he doesn’t have the resources to fund his government or pay for the war without U.S. government largess.  So, when it comes to calling the shots to end the Ukraine War, does Zelensky think he can dictate terms of a ceasefire and peace settlement?  Zelensky made clear he wants the U.S. to fund a perpetual war with the Kremlin, putting Europe and the world at risk of WW III or nuclear war.  “For example, up until today, the officials American position was that Ukraine should be returned to full sovereignty and territorial integrity.  That’s is gone,” Bolton told Kaitlan. Does Bolton just pretend to CNN there is not a new commander-in-chief?  There was no official American position on Urkaine sovereignty.  It was the Biden administration position.  Does Bolton or CNN know that there was presidential election Nov. 5, 2024?

Bolton told CNN that offering Ukraine NATO membership goes back to 2014 when Putin annexed Crimea March 1, 2014.  Bolton was irked by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth telling NATO that Trump will not accept Ukraine NATO membership.  Actually Zelensky was rejected by NATO not by Trump for membership.  NATO gave its explanation for why NATO membership was not in the cards, saying Ukraine was at war with the Kremlin, it was not a democracy, and, most importantly, it was fiscally insolvent because of the war.  So, Bolton complaining to CNN that Ukraine was promised NATO membership is poppycock.  “The question of NATO membership as far back as 2008 had been that ultimately Ukraine would become ad NATO member.  That doesn’t look like it’s around the either,” Bolton told CNN, making up his own history.

Inviting Bolton to spew his anti-Trump rubbish on CNN shows the Democrat-controlled cable network has no credibility, citing the likes of Bolton or other Trump haters like former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.).  Bolton was summarily dismissed by Trump Sept. 10, 2019 for advocating war with a number of U.S. adversaries. Trump said had he listened to Bolton he would have started WW III.  Now Bolton finds himself welcome on Trump-hating fake news, purely to give his own eccentric views.  Bolton can’t accept that Trump has reversed Biden’s anti-Kremlin policies, seeking to restore normal U.S.-Russian relations.  Biden ended decades of U.S.-Russia relations, diplomacy and arms control, all because of Ukraine. Zelensky could care less about U.S.-Russian relations. Trump has let Zelensky know that the U.S. is moving on from the Ukraine War and now seeks normal diplomatic relations.
