LOS ANGELES.–Quoting 66-year-old former Chairman of the Republican National Committee [2009-2011] Michael Steele, 66, MSNBC blasted Trump’s picks for Cabinet saying they would destroy American democracy.  MSNBC and CNN love to quote disgruntled Republicans to push the anti-Trump narrative.  Steele is no different than former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) who has her own personal vendetta against Trump, largely for criticizing her 83-year-old father former Vice President Dick Cheney, primary architect of the 2003 Iraq War.  President Donald Trump, 78, criticized Cheney and former President George W. Bush for the ill-fated Iraq war costing the U.S nearly 5,000 deaths and over a trillion dollars.  Bush and Cheney’s family became bitter enemies of Trump since he ran for president in 2016, making his anti-Cheney and Bush feelings known.  Steele, another fake Republican, likes to go on the fake news to slam Trump.

Steele warns that the three remaining nominees this week are all unqualified and incompetent for their Cabinet jobs.  “The three nominees this week are just wholly unqualified,” Steele said, former Chairman of the RNC, now a frequent guest on MSNBC and CNN, both anti-Trump cable TV networks. “The reality that we have now in front of us is someone who is a threat to our national security in Tulsi Gabbard, someone who’s a threat to our homeland security in Kash Patel and someone who’s a threat to our health in RFK Jr.” Steele said. Steele can’t explain what’s wrong with Gabbard relying on gossip and innuendo that she dared to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in 2017.  Gabbard met with al-Assad to stop the destruction and carnage with Obama’s proxy war.  How any Democrat or Republican finds that un-American is anyone’s guess.

Michael Steele worked feverishly during the 2024 to get 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris elected president. Steele had nothing good to say about Trump in his first term, agreeing with Special Counsel Robert Muller’s investigation into Trump’s collusion with the Kremlin.  Questioning the competence or advisability of any Trump nominee, Steele showed that he’s not objective at all but working with Democrats to undermine Trump.  Steele thinks alike with Cheney that Trump isn’t fit for the White House, primarily because of their own ax to grind.  Cheny despises Trump because he backed Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wy.) who beat her by the largest margin in state history.  Steele hates Trump because he sees him as a White nationalist opposed to African Americans in Trump’s circles.  Both Cheney and Steele destroyed their GOP careers because they despise Trump.

Steele can’t say exactly why he opposes Gabbard, insisting she’s unqualified for Director of National Intelligence.  But clearly Gabbard is a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserves and decorated Iraq War veteran making her more that qualified for the job.  Gabbard had plenty of intel experience on the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees.  Steele calls her unqualified but it’s not supported by any facts, only baseless gossip.  Steele told Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) if he had a vote he would “block everyone last one of them,” but not explaining why other than making disparaging comments.  When it comes to Gabbard, certainly she’s more than qualified to serve as Director of National Intelligence.  Steele’s beef with former U.S. Atty. Kasha Patel for FBI Director or RFK Jr. for Health and Services Director is equally spurious not knowing his actual objections.

Tulsi Gabbard dared to defy Biden by opposing his Ukraine War strategy, ending decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control with the Russian Federation.  Biden went all in the Ukraine war and expected all members of Congress to follow suit.  Gabbard let Democrats know what she thought of the Ukraine War policy, telling them it pushed the European Continent closer to WW III or nuclear War.  When Gabbard heard Biden say in 2022, months after the Ukraine invasion, that he would supply troops to defend Taiwan against Communist China, she had to speak out, but, more importantly, couldn’t in clear conscience continue in the Democrat Party.  Gabbard has been unfairly vilified by Democrats committed to Biden’s Ukraine War strategy.  She decided that her views on national security more closely resembled Trump, making her a shoe in for a Trump Cabinet post.

Steele joins the ranks on fake news of other Trump haters like Cheney, former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Il.), former Atty. Michael Cohen, former Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Ut.) and others all appearing regularly on MSNBC and CNN.  CNN like to quote Republicans that despise Trump as if it means anything other than the obvious.  “If the president is saying or doing something or proposing something you think bad for country, will you speak up?” asked Blunt Rochester.  “Some have said, ‘Oh yes, I will speak up.  I will follow the law,” Blunt Rochester told Steele.  “They’re lying,” Steele said.  “They are lying,” believing that no one crosses Trump without consequences.  Steele opposes anything Trump because he sees it as White Nationalism.  Steele and other Trump-hating Republicans can’t face the fact that Trump is well liked with voters, now with a 51% approval rating.
