LOS ANGELES.–Interviewing 69-year-old Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), CBS “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan questioned Graham about Trump’s nominee for FBI Director Kash Patel. Democrats and the fake news claim that Patel is part of Trump’s retribution strategy of letting the Department of Justice and FBI go after former FBI officials that prosecuted Trump or the journalists that went along with the conspiracy. Brennan shows the same kind of fake news as other liberal networks that have made a capital case out of Trump’s Cabinet picks. Patel is the one Democrats fear the most because they’ve had a virtual monopoly on federal law enforcement for the last nine years. Trump was subject of an FBI counterintelligence investigation during the 2016 campaign, accused to colluding with the Kremlin by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in her fake “Steele Dossier.”
Democrats and the press saw nothing wrong with former FBI Director James Comey using Hillary’s paid opposition research as probable cause to investigate Trump’s 2016 campaign. Comey went so far as to use the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court [FISA] to wiretap Trump campaign officials. Comey violated every rule of the federal criminal justice system to go after Trump, all with the intent to helping Hillary get elected. Comey’s counterintelligence investigation was based on fake probable cause all from Hillary’s fraudulent opposition research. Every step of the investigation, Comey leaked fake news stories to the New York Times and Washington Post, all creating unending fake news stories about Trump’s alleged ties with the Kremlin. CBS News Margaret Brennan has no problems watching Trump prosecuted by Comey’s FBI.
Graham told Brennan she should start worrying about getting the facts straight, not about spreading more rumors and innuendo about Kash Patel. “You shouldn’t worry about Kash Patel,” Graham told Brennan. “You should worry about reporting the news fairly, which you don’t do when it comes to everything Trump,” Graham said, referring to the last nine years of fake news stories about the Russian hoax. Brennan cites some obscure statement a memoir of former Atty. Gen. Bill Barr, saying that Patel was inexperienced. “He was wrong there, and he’s wrong now,” Graham told Brennan. “And I take my advice from Kash Patel from Trey Gowdy, my dear friend from South Carolina who worked with Kash. Kash was a public defender . He was a prosecutor,” Graham said. Brennan says nothing about what the Democrat run FBI did to sabotage Trump’s 2016 and 2024 campaigns.
Fake news works for Democrat trying discredit Trump’s Cabinet picks, worried that fair-and-equitable Justice Department and FBI could no longer be used to go after Trump or other Republicans. Democrats like the idea that they can prosecute anyone they like without real probable cause, only fake facts like Hillary’s Steele Dossier. When Trump finally fired Comey May 8, 2017, Democrats at the Justice Department went wild, accusing Trump of covering up his Russian collusion. Democrats led by former Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate Trump. Democrats were convinced they could impeach Trump for treason once Mueller finished his investigation. When Mueller submitted his final report March 23, 2019 he found no link between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
Mueller’s findings didn’t stop Democrats like former House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) from insisting he had his own evidence proving that Trump colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 presidential election. Even to this day, now a U.S. Senator, Schiff insists Trump colluded with the Kremlin. Schiff has been one of Trump’s biggest partisan detractors in Congress, insisting that he planned, organized and participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Schiff was a powerful Democrat voice against Trump in his second impeachment trial or “incitement of insurrection.” When Trump was acquitted in the U.S. Senate Feb. 13, 2021, Schiff encouraged former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to form the Jan. 6 House Select Committee to find evidence that Trump was behind the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. But the Jan. 6 House Select Committee found nothing.
Fake news talk show hosts like Margaret Brennan shows her ignorance condemning 44-year-old Kash Patel for citing a passage in Trump-hating former Atty. Gen. Bob Barr’s biased personal memoir. Brennan, like other Trump-hating journalists, quote Barr because he once worked for Trump but has long since stabbed his former boss in the back. When former Trump employees stab him in the back, they qualify as pundits in the fake news. Look at all the company Barr keeps with the likes of former Trump personal Atty. Michael Cohen or former New Jersey Governor Christ Christie. Both are welcome on the fake news because of their hatred of Trump, not because they sound intelligent. How often does former Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Ut.) for former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) appear in the fake news? All Trump-haters are welcome in the fake news.
