LOS ANGELES.–Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, 63, bid farewell to the State Department, saying he hoped the Trump administration would follow through with his policies in the Mideast and Ukraine.  Blinken’s foreign policy was a disaster out the gate, holding a summit in Anchorage, Alaska with 47-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan March 18, 2021 and Chinese officials, promptly accusing Beijing of genocide against Muslim Uyghurs.  On that same day, President Joe Biden called 72-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin a “murderous thug,” giving a preview of things to come.  “When we came in, we inherited partnerships and alliances that were seriously frayed,” Blinken said.  “So if past is a prologue, yes it would be a concern,” referring to foreign relations after the first Trump administration.  Blinken panders to the fake news, giving his topsy-turvy narrative.

Blinken inherited strong relations with Russia and China and proceeded on Day One to destroy them, culminating with the Feb. 24, 2022 Ukraine invasion, where Putin said no to the U.S. arming Ukraine to the teeth.  Putin’s “special military operation” was designed to de-militarize Ukraine from the influx of U.S. arms designed to start a war with Russia.  Blinken has the fake news to report his twisted version of Biden’s foreign policy, the first in U.S. history to fund proxy war with the Kremlin. All other presidents and Secretaries of State worked to develop cooperative, pragmatic relations with nuclear-armed Russia for the purpose of global cooperation and world peace.  Trump stayed in his first term in that tradition before Biden and Blinken wrecked U.S.-Russian relations. Blinken now says he hopes the Trump White House follows the Biden foreign policy.

Blinken claims that he’s strengthened alliances with Asian countries and NATO, when, in fact, he’s pushed Communist China into a war with the U.S.  “The best laid plans:  There’s, of  course, no guarantee that our successes will look to them, rely on them,” Blinken said, pretending that he’s left U.S. foreign policy and national security better off.  “But at least there’s that option.  At least they can decide whether this is a good basis for proceeding and make changes,” Blinken said, in a kind of word salad, making zero sense. Biden and Blinken’s foreign policy has been a disaster, requiring Trump and incoming Secretary of State Marco Rubio to start from scratch mending all the broken fences with Russia, China and North Korea.  When Trump left office in 2021, the world was at peace, with alliances with Russia and China and North Korean in good working order.

Blinken touts his coalition building in the Indo-Pacific, essentially creating an alliance of countries, including Japan, South Korea and the Philippines, to confront growing Chinese influence.  But instead of creating stability, Biden and Blinken pushed the region closer to war with Communist China over Taiwan.  “We, and the State Department in particular, would like to be remembered for setting a new and stronger foundation for the United States in the world for the future—a foundation that allows us to deal with this incredible multiplicity, complexity, interconnectedness of challenges from a position of strength,” Blinken said.  It that’s not word salad then what is?  Blinken did exactly the opposite ruining traditional relations with Russia and China and destabilizing world peace.  Biden and Blinken drove Russia and China into a close economic, military and strategic alliance.

Biden’s foreign policy destabilized peace on the European Continent, supplying unlimited cash-and-arms to Ukraine to battle the Kremlin.  Wrecking U.S.-Russian relations, how has that helped stabilize world peace or promote global prosperity?  What’s clear from Blinken’s gibberish is that he was in over his head, lost his way with foreign policy and national security and left the State Department in shambles.  “I hope that the benefits are such and are so clear that future administrations will in one way or another continue them,” Blinken said.  Trump’s national security and foreign policy team will have to undo all the damage done by Biden and Blinken to U.S. foreign policy and national security.  Trump will have to end the Ukraine War and stabilize the situation in the Middle East.  Biden and Blinken have done nothing but create chaos.

Blinken’s farewell speech to the State Department was full of excuses about the chaotic foreign policy over the last four years.  Biden set the tone with belligerent relations with Russia and China, leaving U.S. foreign policy out on a limb without any cooperation from U.S. adversaries.  Blinken turned Russia from cooperative partner into mortal enemy of the United States. How’s that supposed to go down in history?  All arms control and other cooperative ventures ended under Biden’s White House, the most chaotic and destructive foreign policy in any four year presidency.  Blinken’s excuses only camouflage his failures to get along with Russia and Communist China.  Trump must now undo all the damage done by Biden and Blinken over the next four years.  First order of business is end the reckless, costly and destructive Ukraine War.
