LOS ANGELES.–President Joe Biden, 82, delivered his final teleprompter message to the country Jan. 16 warning the country about oligarchy, giving the fake news something to talk about. Biden, of course, doesn’t have a clue about oligarchy but warns to the paranoid, defeated and sour grapes Democrats warnings about billionaires like Elon Musk exerting outsized influence on 78-year-old President-elect Donald Trump. Biden’s clarion call is nothing more that his underlings taking an angry party shot at Republicans who out played them in the 2024 election. Biden watched his clear, democratically earned nomination to run for a second term yanked away by an angry junta led by 85-year-old former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and former President Barack Obama making the whole process all the more sickening. Democrats had no right to pull the nomination from Biden, he earned it.
So, Biden, whose a shell of human at this point, a kind of programmed automaton, squinting to read a meaningless teleprompter, warns to rule by oligarchy. But instead of disparaging American self-made billionaires, rule by oligarchy is precisely what happened in the Democrat Party, where a coup d’etat took place from within deciding, without explanation, why Biden should be replaced by his 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris. Pelosi and Obama decided that Kamala, a so-called Black woman, would be a breakthrough candidate, the first Black woman president seeking to make civil rights, gender rights and women’s reproductive rights the center of her campaign. What a revolution for Democrats, whose party has been hijacked by so-called progressives, largely a minority of Blacks and LGBTQ plus activists looking for radical social change.
Biden’s idea of rule by oligarchy is preposterous as interpreted by the fake news, that folks like Elon Musk or Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg have outsized influence on the Trump White House. When Democrats used “oligarchs” like George Soros that’s entirely different because Soros believes in progressives utopian causes of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion [DEI] for preferential groups like Blacks and LGBTQ plus community. All the talk in the campaign about the Pentagon paying for sex change operations or hormonal therapy of the miniscule percent of the LGBTQ plus community called transsexuals alerted the public to the extremes progressive go to impose their agenda. Voters, of course, rejected the left wing extremists as represented by Kamala, her one sided focus on civil, gender and women’s rights, while the economy suffered from runaway inflation.
Rule by oligarchy refers to rule by a small group or faction, whether rich or some other class of people, like the kind of factions seen in the Democrat Party. If the Black or LGBTQ plus factions rule the Democrat Party agenda, doesn’t that define rule by oligarchy, not simply that idea that private billionaires or corporate Titans wield outsized influence over policy concerns taken up by Congress? In a two-party system, Democrats and Republicans compete to control the presidency, U.S. House and Senate. Just happens, this time around, Republicans control the presidency, House and Senate, a kind of rule by oligarchy or one-party rule. Democrat don’t complain about oligarchy whether they’re in charge of the presidency, House and Senate. Only when Republicans win all three do Democrats complain about oligarchy, of course an eccentric definition of the term.
Oligarchy as Biden read off his teleprompter does not refer to influence of wealth on the presidency and Congress. From the origin of the United States, wealthy families and land barons have always had an influence on the presidency and Congress. When talking about the history of the U.S., the J.P. Morgans, Rockefellers, Melons, Vanderbilts, Carnegies, Duponts, etc., always played a outsized role in influence on politics. So, when it comes to oligarchs, the U.S. has had their share over the country’s history. Democrats don’t complain about oligarchy as long as they get the lion’s shares of donations. Only when the fake news focuses on Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg do they demonize Republicans for daring to use so-called oligarchs for outsized political influence. With Trump at the helm, it’s doubtful anyone wields any real influence on his thinking or policies.
Biden’s message is designed for the fake news to continue demonizing the Trump administration, pretending to the Democrat base that billionaires like George Soros don’t contribute to the left wing agenda. Much of the Palestinian protests around the country related to the Gaza War are largely funded by George Soros and other Democrats donors like Disney’s Jeffrey Katzenberg and other Hollywood elites. Musk left himself vulnerable to fake news attacks by appearing to often at Trump’s side at campaign events. Musk actually helped sway independent voters who admire his outsized contributions to American society with the EV revolution and manned space program. When it comes to oligarchy, Democrats and the fake news get it all wrong, it has nothing to do with the billionaire class trying exert influence on politicians.
