LOS ANGELES.–President Joe Biden, 82, revealed Friday why he’s a human wrecking ball to the United States, saying that 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris “could have and would have” beat 78-year-old President Donald Trump, despite the obvious that Kamala lost the Nov. 5 election by a landslide. Biden won 14 million primary votes in 2024 but was forced out of the race because of his June 27, 2024 CNN debate performance with Trump. Trump stood by on stage and watched Biden talk gibberish, an embarrassing barrage of incoherent speech showing 70 million viewers what they already knew that he wasn’t fit for president. CNN’s liberal moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash were dumbfounded watching Biden, doing everything possible to rehab his abysmal performance. But by the time the debate ended, voters saw firsthand that Biden wasn’t fit for president, let alone running for second term.
No one in the press ever explained why the Biden-Trump debate was pushed up to June 27, highly irregular and out-of-protocol for debates which usually start in late September or October. So, someone on Biden’s team knew that his cognitive impairments would come out in glaring fashion, ultimately taking him out of the 2024 race. “I would have beaten Trump, could have beaten Trump and I think that Kamala could have beaten Trump,” Biden said, making no sense at all. It’s almost like the more outrageous the gaffe, the more excuses the press makes for Biden. Biden doesn’t even know why he was asked to step down from the race, saying he agreed in the name of party unity. But he lacks the awareness of his memory impairments and cognitive deficits that make him a hazard as commander-in-chief. “I thought it was important to unify the party,” Biden said why he stepped down.
Since his disastrous debate June 27, Biden didn’t step down until wrangled by 85-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and former President Barack Obama July 17. By that time Democrats say there wasn’t enough time for Kamala to sell herself to the public, despite spending $1.6 billion dollars in a 107-day campaign. “I thought it was important to unify the party. When the party worried about whether or not I was going to be able to move, even though I thought I could win again . . . “ Biden said. Biden doesn’t recall that Pelosi and Obama showed Biden polling that Trump was way ahead in the race and that Vice President Kamala Harris was running ahead of Trump. “I thought it was better to unify the party. It was the greatest honor of my life to be President of the United States but I didn’t want to be one who cause as party who wasn’t unified to lose an election,” Biden said.
Biden’s feeble excuses show exactly why he wasn’t fit for the Oval Office, certainly not for a second term. Because of hubris or his poor memory, Biden can’t admit he wasn’t prepared to run again or continue as commander-in-chief. “That’s why I stepped aside but I was confident she could win,” Biden said, refusing to acknowledge the reasons why Pelosi, Obama and many others asked Biden to step aside. When 63-year-old Hollywood star George Cloney asked Biden to step down July 11, 2024 the media went wild, condemning him. No one apologized to Clooney for having the guts to request the obvious of a disabled leader, literally dragging down the entire party, so called down-ballot races. Biden gave a slew of self-serving interviews, asking journalists to record his legacy of legislative accomplishments. Biden thought he could beat Trump again in 2024 because he did it in 2020.
Speaking to USA Today’s Susan Page if he had regrets dropping out of the race. “It’s presumptuous to say that, but I think yes, based on the polling,” Biden said, again, making no sense. All polling showed him losing badly when matched up against Trump. Yet Biden continues to insist that he would have beaten his former rival. Biden and his handlers have a convenient way to denying reality, leaving it to the rich imagination of voters to think that only if he had run, he could have repeated his feat in 2020. Obama doubted Biden could pull it off in 2020, seeing Joe make a lot of mistakes in the 2020 campaign when he talked to the press. Biden did everything possible to avoid press interviews in 2020 and 2024, knowing they exposed his cognitive challenges. Obama’s former chief strategist now a CNN pundit David Axelrod also doubted in 2024 that Biden could pull it off.
Biden’s many gaffes turned out to be memory impairment and cognitive deterioration. When Special Counsel Robert Hur released his report that he would not prosecute Biden for retaining classified documents, it said Biden wasn’t fit for trial due to his memory impairments. Democrats and the press went wild calling Hur’s report a GOP conspiracy to discredit the president. As time went on, Hur’s report was a factual picture into everything Democrats and the press tried to cover-up in the 2024 presidential campaign. Biden had lost his memory and other important faculties to continue on as commander-in-chief. Recent reports after-the-fact by the New York Times and Wall Street Journal admit that the press covered up Biden’s memory and cognitive problems. Yet if you ask Biden, he still says he would have beaten Trump one more time.
