LOS ANGELES.–President Joe Biden, 81, only two month from leaving office, pretends he’s in charge of U.S. foreign and domestic policy, when the government has long move past his influence on Congress and foreign affairs. Since the Sept. 27 CNN presidential debate, the public was treated to the sad reality of a man a shell of his former self, suffering from age-related cognitive decline, prompting a battle in the Democrat Party to have Joe removed as the Democrat Party 2024 nominee. After wrangling for nearly a month, Biden threw in the towel July 31, turning the campaign over to 59-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris. Under heavy pressure from Democrat party bosses, especially 84-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and 63-year-old former President Barack Obama, Biden agreed to leave the 2024 race as long as he could finish his term as president.

Kamala was asked in a hastily arranged, shortened Fox News Interview Oct. 16 interview if Biden was cognitively impaired, something she refused to answer. Well, for the past four years there were growing questions about Biden’s fitness for office, something covered up by Democrats and the press to this day. Yet Biden acts with 62-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken and 46-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan at his side like he’s still in charge of U.S. foreign policy. Biden was caught off guard yesterday with word from Israel that it killed Oct. 7, 2023 mastermind, 62-year-old Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Biden had been pushing Israel to enter into a ceasefire agreement with an Iranian-controlled terror group that massacred Israeli citizens, mostly teenagers. Biden is buffeted around in political riptides that prevent him making coherent decisions.

Biden decisions with Israel have deteriorated into disjointed ultimatums, public remarks calling on 74-year-old Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayahu to make concessions to a brutal terror group, without any real partner with whom to negotiate a ceasefire or peace deal. Sinwar has been impossible for U.S., Egyptian and Qatari negotiators to come to any agreement because, about all else, Siwar wanted to rule Gaza before his Oct. 17 death in a safe house in Rafah. Sinwar made a cardinal mistake of leaving Gaza’s military tunnels to meet with his military leaders in Rafah, the southern-most tip of Gaza. By the time he left the tunnel, it was too late, he was already in Israel’s sights, shortly after killed in a Merkava tank attack. But Biden’s inability to understand what’s going in Gaza or the 2024 campaign, leads to incoherent decisions by Biden’’s underlings to manage foreign policy.

When it comes to the 2024 presidential campaign, Biden’s handlers know what’s at stake with Kamala sinking quickly in the polls, knowing that every vote counts in battleground states. By threatening Israel with economic or military sanctions, Biden’s handlers, working for the Kamala campaign, think pandering to Muslims living in Michigan could make a difference on Election Day. But Kamala has more problems that just Michigan with at least seven battleground states now moving in Trump’s direction. Biden’s ultimatum that Israel provide more immediate humanitarian relief to Gaza or face a loss of military hardware, is pure nonsense, only complicating the situation in Gaza. Biden doesn’t know what’s happening with Kamala’s handlers imposing ultimatums on Israel to win votes. Voters have already decided to move away from Kamala in the last several weeks.

Letting Biden run foreign policy, or putting his name on it, has been destructive to the peace process, knowing that Kamala’s politics now dominate U.S. foreign policy. Sending Terminal High Altitude Area Defense [THAAD] weapons with military advisers to Israel tells the real story about the Pentagon’s involvement in defending Israel. Muslim voters in Michigan have already decided what to do with their votes, regardless of 83-year-old Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) or 35-year-old Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-N.Y.). Both Sanders and AOC blame Israel for everything, calling on Biden to sanction Israel. But what Sanders and AOC really want is for Muslim votes in battleground states to support Kamala. Both find it unthinkable that Trump could win another four year term. Biden no longer controls anything, only his underlings tied to the Kamala campaign.

White House and Pentagon officials were thrown for a loop with Israel eliminating Sinwar, something that really has no practical impact on the Gaza War at all. Until U.S. and European Union officials insist that Hamas leave the Gaza Strip, the war continues without Sinwar, only, like Hezbollah in Lebanon, to replace its fallen leader with a new replacement. Hamas vowed that it would redouble efforts to battle Israel, despite its leadership decapitated at least for the time being. Biden’s threats against Israel are all handled by Kamala strategists hoping to keep the Muslim coalition in battleground states voting for Democrats. U.S. foreign policy and national security have been so muddled by the 2024 campaign and Biden’s disabilities that it’s severely compromised U.S. foreign policy and national security. Biden should have left office after the Sept. 27 debate.
