LOS ANGELES.–Showing he can spew propaganda with the best of them, Iran’s 69-year-old President Massoud Pezeshkian painted Iran as Mideast peacemaker, personifying the most Orwellian possible disinformation, “war is peace,” “freedom is slavery” and “ignorance is strength.” “We want to live in peace, we don’t want war,” Pezeshkian said. “It is Israel that seeks to create this all-out conflict,” knowing that it’s surrogate Hamas blindsided Israel Oct. 7, 2023, raping, torturing and massacring 1,200 civilians, taking another 251 hostages. Pezeshkian mentions nothing about Iran funding Hamas, a so-called Palestinian resistance group chartered with only one purpose to destroy Israel. Founded in 1987 by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin to serve as the military enforcement wing of the Palestine Liberation Organization [PLO], Hamas has a long history of death-and-destruction.
Heading to the U.N. General Assembly in New York, Pezeshkian, has only one purpose, to summons as much hatred as possible against Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, 74, counters Iran’s unending propaganda that somehow Israel is the one that wants perpetual war. “We do not wish to be the cause of instability in the Middle East as its consequences would be irreversible,” Pezeshkinan said, knowing Iran is the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Iran fund’s Gaza’s Hamas terrorist, Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia, Yemen’s Houthi rebels and Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah who fought against the U.S. So when Pezeshkian says Iran wants Mideast peace, they only want to push Shitte Muslim control over the largely dominan Sunni Middle East. Ayatollah Ali Khaemenei carries on the Revolution’s tradition of Palestinian attacks on Israel.
Pezeshkian calls to resolve Mideast conflicts through dialogue knowing its Hezbollah militia run by 64-year-old Sheik Hassan Nasrallah has been firing rockets at Israel since the Hamas Gaza war started Oct. 7, 2023. No one asks why Hezbollah, that had nothing to do with the Oct. 7, 2023 Nazi-like atrocity, has been at war with Israel for nearly a year. Nasrallah boasts about his vast arsenal of Iranian made rockets but can’t explain why it’s at war with Israel. Nasrallah says he will stop his rocket attacks if Israel ends its war with Hamas. Hamas militants and most of the Gaza Strip have been reduced to rubble over the last year of fighting, largely because Hamas refuses to get out of Gaza. Hamas appointed 62-year-old Oct. 7, 2023 mastermind Yahya Sinwar to lead the terror group. No nation other than Iran thinks Hamas can continue to lead the Gaza Strip.
Pezeshkian thinks it’s Iran’s Supreme Leader Aytollah Ali Khemenei’s right to support Palestinian resistance regardless of the current war in Gaza. It’s most ironic that the late Hamas leader in exile Ismail Haniyeh went to Ayatollah Khamenei early on in the conflict to enlist Iran’s help to fight Israel. Khamenei told Haniyeh that Iran would not rescue Hamas, largely because Tehran was not inform him before the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas massacre. “We will defend any group that is defending its rights and itself,” Pezeshkian said, when asked whether Iran would get involved directly in the conflict. Khamenei told Haniyeh that Hamas was on its own battling Israel, much like every other Mideast state that wants no part of war with Israel. Oil-rich Gulf States refuse to fund any Gaza reconstruction if Hamas holds onto power, knowing they plunder Gaza’s resources.
Hezbollah’s Surpeme Leader Hassan Nasrallah has lost credibility with his idle threats against Israel. While Nasrallah has fired rockets into Israel daily for the past year, Nasrallah has also watched most of his commanders killed in recent air strikes. Losing 62-year-old terrorist Ibrahim Aqil Sept. 20, head of Hezbollah Radwan Force, was a big blow to Nasrallah. Aqil was a key bomber in the 1983 U.S. Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, killing 63 U.S. soldiers. Aqil had a $7 million Pentagon bounty on his head for his role in the Marine barack’s truck bombing. Pezeshkian kids himself thinking that the U.S. sees Iran as a Mideast peacemaker when it sponsors proxy war through its various terrorist groups. If the Ayatollah wanted the Gaza War to end, he would give Sinwar and his entourage safe passage to Tehran or some other Mideast country to end the war.
Iran threatened to directly retaliate against Israel for the July 31 assassination of Hamas-leader-in-exile Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. So far, nothing has happened but Pentagon officials stew over a possible wider Mideast conflict, desperately trying to end the Hamas War. Biden and Harris have practically stood on their heads to get a ceasefire deal, hoping it would boost Kamala’s chances Nov. 5. “We will respond at the appropriate time and place, in an appropriate manner,” Prezeshkian said, still not committing to retaliation for Haniyeh. If Prezeshkian wants peace, he needs to stop funding terror groups to attack Israel. Nasrallah finds out the hard way what happens when you push Netanyahu to the brink. If Nasrallah keeps hitting Israel with rockets, he could find himself the target of the next Israeli strike. Prezeshkian knows Nasrallah is on thin ice.
