LOS ANGELES.–Showing why voters must vote for 78-year-old former President Donald Trump, Yemen-based, Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists struck a Greek-flagged oil tanker in the Red Sea potentially causing an ecological disaster of epic proportions. “That is an environmental disaster that they are going to have to deal with,” said Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh. “What exactly does this accomplish? They said they were launching these attacks to help the people of Gaza, no sure how that helps anyone in Gaza.” Singh’s statements reflect the feckless state of the U.S. military under 81-year-old President Joe Biden and 59-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris. Harris made her best pitch for president last night at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Houthi attacks have plagued the Red Sea for years under Biden-Harris with the Pentagon having no coherent response.

Biden and Harris have allowed Iran’s Houthi terrorists to destroy shipping in the Red Sea, forcing companies to bypass the area and take the long, more costly route around the African Cape of Good Hope, taking weeks longer and adding millions to shipping costs. Yet the Pentagon can only lambast the Houthis, allowing the Iranian-backed terror group to run wild in global shipping lanes. Houthis said they “will not cease until the aggression is stopped and the siege on our brothers in Gaza is lifted,” lending feeble excuses for causing an environmental catastrophe on their own coastline. “Sourion, carrying 150,000 tons of crude oil, now represents a navigational and environmental hazard,” said the EU in a post on X. Biden-Harris have done next to nothing to stop Houthi attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea, making passage for commercial ships untenable.

U.S. and U.K. joint strikes Feb. 4 did little to stop Houthi attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea, pushing the Iranian-backed terrorist groups to continue attacks commercial ships whether or not they have any connection to Israel. “Yes they have gotten a few attacks through,” Singh said. “But we have been able to degrade their capabilities over time and we have been able to protect ships that transit the Red Sea through our alliance [and] it’s not for nothing,” making more excuses why another attack on a commercial tanker took place. Whatever degrading the Pentagon thought it did in Yemen, it wasn’t enough to stop Houthi attacks. Biden has been reluctant to attack Iran directly for Houthi, Hamas or Hezbollah attacks, leaving the current dilemma for the Pentagon. Without stopping Houthi terrorist bases and disrupting command-and-control the attacks continue.

Listening to Singh try to shame Houthi terrorists does nothing to deter future attacks that have disrupted vital shipping lanes, causing supply chain interruptions, leading U.S. and foreign companies to delay delivers of vital manufacturing components. Tesla Motor in Berlin had to stop production for two months due to Houthi attacks forcing freighters to spend weeks longer to transport spare parts. Biden-Harris chose to get the U.S. into a protracted military action in Ukraine, funding proxy war with the Kremlin. Biden is the first and only U.S. president to go to war against the Kremlin, prompting 70-year-old independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to endorse 78-year-old President Donald Trump today. RFK Jr. says the Biden-Harris are on a path to perpetual war, if not far worse, starting WW III, possibly nuclear war in Europe all because of Ukraine.

Pentagon resources are stretched so thin with the Ukraine War and Gaza Wars raging that they lack the resources and political will to stop Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists. Only one way would stop the Houthis involving a direct attack on Tehran. Biden has used throwaway missile attacks to prove he’s doing something in the Red Sea but clearly the strategy has failed because Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei doesn’t take Biden or Harris seriously. Khamenei know the U.S. is so bogged down supplying weapons to Ukraine they can’t stop Houthi terrorists from preying on commercial shipping. Once commercial shipping has been shut down, Iran clearly wins the global battle to control international waterways. Biden-Harris complain about China’s bullying in the South China Sea, while they allow Iran’s Houthi terrorists to run wild in the Red Sea.

RFK Jr.’s endorsement of Trump today speaks volumes about his assessment of Trump capacity to manage as commander-in-chief. Harris made a strong case for civil rights, gender rights and women’s rights but she showed no capacity to manage global crises now engulfing the world under her watch with Joe. If 71-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin were to hit Kiev with a nuke, what would Biden or Harris do? Kiev would be in flames while Biden and Harris considered a nuclear response on Moscow. Biden and Harris have refused any attempt at peace overtures in Ukraine, demanding that Putin remove all his forces before the U.S. or Kiev enter any peace talks. RFK Jr. recognized the extreme risk to U.S. national security with Biden and Harris at the helm. If Harris became president, all bets would be off when it comes to Kamala starting WW III or nuclear war.
