LOS ANGELES.–Organized anarchy spread by various non-governmental fundraising groups like the San Francisco-based Tides Center or pro-Palestinian groups like the Adalah Justice Project who get funding from leftist billionaire financier George Soros and others are sponsoring Pro-Palestinian protests around the country. Looking at the homeless-like tent encampment at Columbia University, it’s clear that there are deep pockets paid for the anti-Israel protests at college campuses. Adalah Justice Project in particular accounts for the lion’s share of the organization and funding for pro-Palestinian protests at college campuses around the country. “Black liberation and Palestinian Freedom are inextricably tied to one another. The roots of our struggles are intertwined and sourced from the same well of revolutionary spirit and determination to be free,” Adalah states as its credo.
So when many of the pro-Palestinian protesters on college campuses are Black, not Palestinian, Adalah has rolled out its strategy of hijacking the Black Lives Matter movement and other civil right groups to promote the Palestine liberation. Billionaire financier George Soros’s “Open Society Foundation” funds San Francisco-based Tides Center for $13.7, at least that’s on Open Society non-profit financial records. Founded by 75-year-old Drummand Pike in 1976, Tides Center has an annual operating budget of $416 millions, with assets of $431 million, making it a formidable funder of leftist causes including today’s Pro-Palestine protests seen on college campuses. There’s nothing spontaneous or random about the anti-Israeli demonstrations funded from Tides Center to the Palestine liberation group Adalah Justice Project seeking to return all Palestinians to the State of Israel.
Adalah is responsible for funding the anti-Israeli protests, including slogans like “I DO NOT CONDEMN HAMAS,” all started Oct. 7, 2023 when the Gaza Strip-based terror group broke through the Israeli border fence, raping, torturing and murdering 1,200 Isralies, many of whom teenagers at a Negev Desert music festival, then taking over 250 hostages. Tides gave $30,000 to Desis Rising Up and Moving, co-sponsors of the Midtown Manhattan Bryant Park pro-Palestinian protests where New York police arrested Oct. 18, 2023 139 unlawful demonstrators. Soros’s Open Society gave $60,000 to Arab American Association of New York where activist Linda Sarsour organized protests calling for the destruction of Israel. Sarsour held a sign of Israel in a trash basket, reading “Please keep the world clean!” calling for the destruction of Israel. Sarsour is a close friend of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich) and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
Soro’s Open Society awarded Adalah, with all its pro-Hamas advocacy, a recognized U.S. terror group, $1.5 million, telling how Open Society vets various anti-Israel groups. When the New York police deal with the pro-Palestine encampment at Columbia University, they’ll eventually have to clear it out. Alexandria, Egyptian-born Columbia University President Manouche Shafik, 61, a practicing Muslim, has tolerated the anti-Israel, pro-Palestine protests to the point that Jewish students no longer feel same on campus. Foreigners like Shafik make no distinction between Jews and Israeli citizens, not understanding the fundamental religious freedom living under the Constitution living in America. Calls for her ouster as Columbia University president are long overdue, letting her own sympathies of Palestine get the better of her judgment managing culturally diverse Columbia University.
Media Research Center [MRC], a conservative watchdog group, says George Soros Open Society supports a number of radical Palestinian groups, including Hamas and for years the Palestine Liberation Organization [PLO] founded by Yasser Arafat with the expressed purpose of destroying Israel. Arafat saw his dream crushed in 1967 when Israel defeated the PLO and six other Arab states in the Six Day War. “George Soros and his son Alex have a long history of supporting the most radical organizations across the planet, and that included pro-Hamas organizations that support the most heinous kind of behavior,” said Dan Schneider, Vice President of Media Research Center. “We call of George Soros to withdraw this funding but he seems very determined to continue supporting anti-Semitic organizations that want to upend western civilization,” wrote MRC President Brent Bozell.
Dealing with the well-funded pro-Palestine street protests won’t be easy with groups hiding behind the First Amendment. With Soros funding extremist groups calling for Israel’s destruction like the Adalah Justice Project, it’s no wonder there’s plenty of cash to pay for tent cities housing paid protesters on college campuses around the country. “The legal Center of Arab Minority Rights in Israel said Open Society Foundation “has been generously supporting our work on defending the human rights of Palestinians under Israeli control for many years, and we are grateful their immense contribution to this effort,” confirmed Ari Remez, Adalah Spokesman. Columbia President Manouche Shafik knows who stirs up the trouble on campus but allowed it to make life for Columbia’s 5,000 Jewish students impossible. Shafik must resign in disgrace for today’s anarchy.
