Like him or hate him, 70-year-old independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. tells the truth, no matter how inconvenient to the opposition, especially to the White House that sees him as a threat to 81-year-old President Joe Biden’s reelection. White House strategists are concerned that RFK Jr. could H. Ross Perot Biden, much the way the Texas oil man upended the 1992 reelection campaign of President H.W. Bush. RFK Jr. provoked the White House, Democrats and the press, saying the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots were not an “insurrection” as sold by the liberal media. Saying it wasn’t a “true insurrection,” RFK Jr. said the obvious about Jan. 6, knowing that most rioters did not have automatic weapons with which to topple the U.S. government, instead breaking into the Capitol armed with cell phones, largely for taking selfies in Congressional offices.
RFK Jr. was concerned that many of the prosecutions were “politically motivated,” meaning they were treated differently, given stricter sentences because charges of sedition and insurrection. “It is quite clear that many of the January 6 protestors broke the law in what may have started as a protest but turned into a riot,” RFK Jr. said. White House officials insist that Kennedy minimizes what happened on Jan. 6, suggesting that the rioters were not there to topple the U.S. government or interfere with the Electoral College vote certification. “Because it happened with the encouragement of President Trump and in the context of his delusion that the election was stolen from him, many people see it not as riot bat as an insurrection,” RFK said. What’s so off-the-wall about RFK Jr.’s explanation? Kennedy said he’d appoint a Special Counsel to determine if prosecutors went overboard.
Challenging conventional wisdom carries with it the wrath of the White House, Democrat and the press who wants to blame Trump completely for the Jan. 6 riots. Trump was impeached by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for “incitement of insurrection,” something for which he was eventually acquitted in the U.S. Senate Feb. 13, 2021. When Pelosi decided on the charge of “incitement of insurrection,” she concluded that Trump whipped up a Jan. 6, 2021 crowd to vandalize the Capitol. Once Trump was acquitted in the Senate Feb. 13, 2021, she formed the Jan. 6 Select Committee designed to prove that Trump planned-and-orchestrated the Jan. 6 insurrection. While offering no proof, the House Select Committee passed on its conclusions to Special Counsel Jack Smith who eventually charged Trump Aug. 2 for illegally trying to stay in power.
RFK Jr. infuriated the liberal press telling CNN’s Erin Burnett that he could argue Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Trump, based on the way he was censored from the social media all for his views on vaccines. White House, Democrats and the press say that RFK Jr. makes unfounded statements about the dangers of vaccines. RFK Jr. has personally litigate for clients in Washington D.C.’s Vaccine Court, endowed by major vaccine makers with billions to pay injury claims linked to the use of vaccines. Vaccine makers claim vaccines are safe-and-effective yet many plaintiffs in Vaccine Court claim lasting injuries. RFK Jr. doesn’t push conspiracy theories, he wants the public to have the best protections against vaccines with a proven track record of injury. Discrediting RFK Jr. has been the favorite pastime of the liberal press since he declared for president April 19, 2023.
When RFK Jr. says Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Trump, he’s talking about his proxy war in Ukraine against the Kremlin. Biden ended decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control with Russia, then pushing for war with Communist China over Taiwan. What threatens democracy more Trump’s belief he was cheated out of the 2020 election for Biden pushing for WW III, possibly nuclear war with the Kremlin? When Trump was president, he was accused by the liberal press of Russian collusion without facts, only scurrilous accusations, all disproven by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Even after Mueller acquitted Trump of any wrongdoing with Russia, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) insisted he had proof that Trump colluded with the Kremlin to win the 2016 presidential election, statements disproven by everyone except Schiff.
RFK Jr. has a mountain to climb because the White House, Democrats and the press seek to destroy his campaign, knowing he presents a threat to Biden in the general election. Called a spoiler by Democarats, Kennedy wants to set the record straight when it comes to straight shooter, telling it like it is on foreign policy and domestic issues. “There aren’t too sides of violent rioters who assaulted police officers and tried to overthrow our democracy,” said the Democratic National Committee [DNC], engaged in same kind of hyperbole as the White House. Rioters armed with cell phones aren’t about to overthrow democracy, only launch a violent protest against a corrupt government. RFK Jr. said if elected he would appoint Jan. 6 Special Counsel to look into the nature of the charges and sentences against Jan. 6 protesters. Looking how political the whole unsightly episode looked.
