LOS ANGELES.–ABC News leads the charge on Sunday Morning liberal shows to blame 74-year-old President Benjamin Netanyahu for the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. ABC News “This Week” host Martha Raddatz spewed left-wing propaganda that it’s all Israel’s fault, the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. Interviewing pro-Palestinian liberal Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), Raddatz got Van Hollen to fall into the trap, agreeing with the Democrat Party’s left wing that Israeli continues to interfere with humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza. Raddatz and Van Hollen never talk about how Hamas, a recognized U.S. terror group, continues to keep humanitarian supplies for themselves, deeply embedded in Gaza’s civilian population, where it’s leadership live in underground military tunnels. But, no, Raddatz and Van Hollen blame Israel for the failure of humanitarian relief operations.
Leftist news stations like ABC pander to the Democrat Party’s pro-Arab lobby, led the Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). Tlaib led the revolt against Biden for allowing Israel to conduct its war against Hamas, causing humanitarian problems in Gaza. “We have a situation where Netanyahu continues to essentially give the finger to the president of the United States, and we’re sending more bombs,” Van Hollen told Raddatz. “And that doesn’t make any sense,” Van Hollen said, knowing perfectly well that Biden doesn’t believe Gaza can go on with Hamas ruling the territory. Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] had done as surgical job of managing the conflict, holding collateral damage to a minimum. Yet Van Hollen and Raddatz accept without questioning the Hamas Ministry of Health that grossly exaggerates Palestinian losses, all to get Israel to stop its conflict
Raddatz and Holland spread a false narrative that Biden opposes the U.S. operation in Gaza, when, in fact, he’s given Biden the green light to end Hamas rule, no easy feat. When it comes to an operation in Rafah, where remaining Hamas militants hold out, Netanayahu has no choice but to complete the mission in Rafah. Van Hollen knows that Netanyahu doesn’t defy Biden, misrepresenting the White House position completely. Netanyahu has Biden’s blessing to eliminate Hamas, even if the IDF have to go into Rafah to get it done. “My view, Martha, is until the Netanyahu government allows more assistance into Gaza to help people who are literally starving to death, we should not be sending more bombs,” Van Hollen said. Van Hollen misrepresents Biden’s position to cater to Democrat Arab voters in Michigan, where Biden has focused his political efforts.
Raddatz picks Van Hollen to interview to spread ABC’s political bias in support of Palestinians, brought into the conflict when Hamas decided Oct. 7, 2023 to slaughter 1,200 Israelis, taking 253 hostages. When Netanyahu declared war on Hamas, he wasn’t kidding Oct. 7, witnessing the more deadly attack on Jews since the Nazi Holocaust. Hamas boasted after the attack that it could penetrate Israel’s borders and conquer the country. What happened to Hamas Leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, hiding out in Gaza’s vast tunnel system? Hamas was supposed to liberate all Palestinian lands in Israel and wound up, instead, destroying the Gaza Strip, something that all too common under 17 years of Hamas rule in Gaza. Hamas negotiates with Egpyt, Qatar and the U.S., all seeking an end to the six-month conflict that’s practically leveled the Gaza Strip.
Van Hollen knows that Biden agrees with Netanyahu that Hamas cannot continue to rule the Gaza Strip. Yet if you listen to Van Hollen and Raddaz, they pit Netanyahu as acting defiantly against U.S. foreign policy. “I think we need to better use our leverage. We have different parts of leverage and on of them is sending more defensive weapons. So, President Biden nees to be as serious about ensuring more humanitarian assistance gets tin o Gaza as Netanyahu has been in making his demands,” Van Hollen said. Van Hollen either panders to pro-Arab Democrats in Michigan or doesn’t understand the White House position of getting rid of Hamas. Israel has done everything possible to get humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, despite the fact that it’s interdicted by Hamas. Hamas could care less about Gaza’s Palestinian population.
ABC New does misrepresents the White House position that Israel is on the same page of getting as much humanitarian aid into Gaza as possible. Biden balances Election Year politics against the reality of war in the Gaza Strip to get rid to Hamas. Pro-Palestinian factions don’t criticize Hamas to its incompetent management of Gaza since 2007 when it seized the Mediterranean seaside territory from the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority. Van Hollen and Raddatz know that the Gaza Strip is run by a brutal terror organization, knowing that Israel sacrifices its own citizens to end Hamas rule for the good of Gaza residents. Netanyahu coordinates with U.N. relief groups as long as they don’t participate in the war against Israel. Van Hollen and Raddatz give the public a false narrative about what’s going in Gaza. Biden officials know that Hamas cannot stay in Gaza.
