LOSS ANGELES.–Doing the bidding of 81-year-old President Joe Biden, 73-year-old Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) pushed through another wasteful $95.5 billion appropriation bill to continue the Ukraine War, without any money earmarked for the Mexican border. Schumer abandoned his last $116 billion appropriations bill that included a token $16 billion for border security, now taken out of the latest bill. “Now, in the absence of having received any single border policy change from the Senate, the House will have to continue to work its own will on these important matters,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.). “America deserves better than the Senate’s status quo.” Schumer does the White House bidding, looking by any means possible, to continue the failed Ukraine War against the Kremlin, destroying Ukraine, while at the same time, claiming that it’s saving European democracy. Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky have duped the public into thinking they’re defeating the Russian Federation.

Biden’s judgment on Ukraine could not be more flawed, telling his 70-year-old infirmed Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that the aim of the Ukraine War is to degrade the Russian military to the point it can no longer wage war. Former 2024 GOP candidate Tim Scott (R-S.C) admitted that in his last GOP Debate in Tuscaloosa, Mississippi. Biden’s refusal to face reality in Ukraine has cost the U.S. Treasury nearly $200 billion on a failed mission to destroy the Russian military. Since the Ukraine War started Feb. 24, 2022, Russia has seized some 20% of Ukraine’s sovereign territory, but, more importantly, destroyed its infrastructure and bankrupted its economy. U.S. and European cash goes for paying Kiev’s civil servants and pensions, including Zelensky’s salary. Biden trashed generations of diplomacy, détente and arms control with the Russian Federation to fund Ukraine proxy war with the Kremlin, in the most reckless and dangerous foreign war in recent U.S. history. Biden’s proxy war with the Kremlin upended post WW II U.S. foreign policy.

Asking for $95.5 billion to continue the Ukraine War shows the way the White House has doubled down on its failed Ukraine War strategy. Ukraine will not defeat the Russian Federation, only lead to more destruction and death. “These are the enormously high stakes of the supplemental package, our security, our values, our democracy,” said Schumer, spewing the same claptrap as Biden. “It is a down payment for the survival of Western democracy and the survival of American values,” Schumer said, in the most disgraceful fabrication imaginable. Ukraine doesn’t save U.S. or European democracy waging war against the Kremlin, it undermines the post-WW II order, allowing Russia its own national security in the European theater. Biden badly miscalculated how a funding proxy war in Ukraine against the Kremlin would undermine European and world security. Ukraine does nothing to defend European democracy, it assures perpetual war.

Schumer needs to stop repeating Biden and Zelensky’s worn-out talking points to push for more cash for Ukraine. Schumer says keeping the proxy war for Ukraine reflects American security and values, when it does the opposite. More funding only prolongs the destruction and death in Ukraine, perpetuating a failed policy of Biden and Zelensky. Johnson has correctly recognized that Ukraine has become a money pit for the U.S. Treasury, only embarrassing U.S. foreign policy by making the White House and State Department look incompetent. Funding the Ukraine War doesn’t defend U.S. or European Democracy, it only promotes war on the European continent. New talk by the U.S. and EU of confiscating Russian assets pushes the world to the brink or WW III. Schumer says it promotes American values to pay for proxy war in Ukraine. Schumer says exactly the opposite, when continuing the reckless proxy only postpones the inevitable of Ukraine and Russia going to the peace table to resolve any territorial or economic differences.

Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) said it’s in the interest of American values to push for peace talks in Ukraine, not more war with Moscow. After former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson met with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week for a two-hour interview, it’s clear under the right conditions Putin is amenable to peace talks. Only Biden and Zelensky make unrealistic demands, expecting Russia to remove all its troops from Ukraine. Before the Ukraine War, Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea all wants Russian troops in the country to defend pro-Russian separatists. Putin has already offered to settle the conflict by Kiev recognizing the independence of Donetsk, Luhansk and Russian sovereignty over Crimea. Zelensky opted for war with the Kremlin, essentially destroying Ukraine in the process. Yet Schumer thinks continued war with the Kremlin is in the interest of democracy and promotion of American values.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) leads the opposition to Schumer’s reckless spending bill on Ukraine that serves only one purpose to perpetuate a destructive war. “Wish us stamina. We fight for you. We stand for America,” Paul posted on X, formerly Twitter. Paul listens to U.S. and Ukrainian generals who say that the only solution to the Ukraine War is political one, not military. “The fact that the only thing standing in the way is one person who does or doesn’t choose to bring it to the floor,” said Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.). “The procedure standing in the war of defeating Russia—that the part that for me is just untenable,” Spanberger said. Talking about defeating Russia shows exactly how brainwashed the pro-Ukraine crowd in Congress. Spanberger and other war hawks have zero evidence that giving Zelensky more cash will defeat the Russian Federation. Spanberger proves for all to see how deluded the anti-Kremlin, pro-war lobby in Congress.
