HARRISBURG, PA.–President Joe Biden, 81, urged Congress to approve Ukraine’s $61 billion and then addition funds, saying, ”Russia must be stopped,” sounding an ominous tone after Russia completed a national bombing campaign, the worst of the war. Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to Ukraine hitting a Russian destroyer in Crimea with Cruise missiles. Putin wasted no time to order airstrikes on Ukrainian cities, prompting Biden to say Putin “must be stopped.” But instead of calling for peace talks, Biden wants to keep the failed Ukraine War going indefinitely, pushing Putin to ht Russia with the big guns. Biden demonstrates he doesn’t have a clue how his Ukraine policy has destroyed the country in nearly 23 months. Biden knows that Putin could level Ukraine at any time but has shown plenty of restraint over the last two years to give peace a chance.
Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old unrealistic President Volodymyr Zelensky reject all of Putin’s overtures to end the war by recognizing Russian sovereign sovereignty in Crimea and independence of Donesk and Luhansk in Donbas. Zelensky rejected Putin’s offers and went to war against the Kremlin after the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion. Putn offered to settle the conflict if Ukraine would accept his conditions. So, when Biden asks Congress for even more cash, they should tell him, no. Biden’s 23-month-old proxy war has destroyed much of Ukraine’s infrastructure, driving millions into exile and bankruptted the economy. Ukraine depends exclusively on the U.S. and EU cash to pay Kiev’s civil salaries and pensions Calling for more cash today shows that Biden needs to be terminated as commander-in-chief, no longer with any coherent approach to the war.
As long as Ukraine keeps destroying Russian targets like the destroyed in Crimea, it can expect Putin to respond with heavy force. What doesn’t Biden and Zelensky get about going to war against the Kremlin? Zelesnky has denied Ukraine’s losses over the last two years, where he’s lost some 25% of Ukraine’s sovereign territory, including most of the Black Sea coast and strategic ports. Congress must see Biden’s failed policy, knowing that his proxy war against the Kremlin has failed. Heading into an Election Year, Biden can’t admit failure after spending $200 billion on Ukraine while showing no results. Biden can’t admit he made a costly mistake funding Ukraine’s war against the Kremlin, exposing Ukraine to constant bombardment resulting in more destruction to Ukraine’s infrastructure and carnage to its citizens. Pleading for more cash now does nothing for Ukraine only continue the destruction.
Congress must tell Bien no to more funding, pushing the White House to pivot to peace talks, realizing that there’s no hope of beating Russia. Biden and Zelensky badly miscalculated Putin’s resolve in neutralizing U.S. arms shipments to Ukraine. Before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, Putin asked Biden to renegotiate security arrangements instead of feeding Ukraine lethal weapons Biden has old ties in Ukraine, including getting his son Hunter and his friend Devon Archer lucrative jobs with a corrupt Ukrainian energy company. Biden has denied knowing anything about Hunter’s overseas business deals but when it came to Ukraine, Biden clearly knows about Hunter’s multimillion dollar job offer. Hunter got his job while Joe was former President Barack Obama’s Vice President supposedly running theWhite House anti-corruption task forces in Ukraine.
Biden wants more cash for Ukraine to do what? Continue a failed war that’s already destroyed Ukraine’s infrastructure and economy. Biden needs to have Congress tell him no about more war funding. Zelensky wants U.S. cash anyway he can get it, knowing he can pay his own salary let alone civil servants in his Kiev government. Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said recently that Zelensky will have to answer for his bad decisions. Zelensky says he wants to fight to the last drop of blood. But Zelensky wants the U.S. to pay for his war with the Kremlin. Biden can’t possibly think that handing Zelensky more cash is going to change the outcome of the war, knowing Russian history of warfare in Chechnya, Georgia and now Ukraine. Biden can only continue the fake narrative to Congress that if the U.S. loses the war, Putin will march on Poland or the Baltic States.
Congress should stop throwing more taxpayers cash down a rat hole in Ukraine. Ukraine will not beat the Russian Federation now or in the future, no matter how much cash is poured into a losing cause. All the talk of Putin’s alleged terminal illness or the imminent collapses of the Russia Army was all a fake narrative by Ukraine’s propaganda minister Kyrlyo Budanov, a fake narrative pushed by Biden and Zelensky. Zelensky told the U.S. Congress that Ukraine defends European democracy. No one in Europe believes that bankrupt, war-torn Ukraine defends European democracy. Europe knows that it’s the job of NATO, not Ukraine, to defend European democracy. But that doesn’t stop Zelensky from blowing smoke, asking the U.S. and NATO for more cash. Biden continues to press Congress for more cash, knowing that it just prolongs the inevitable of peace talks.
