Making his 2024 sales pitch to Hollywood elite, 81-year-old President Joe Biden told the highly partisan Democrat crowd that former President Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. Biden has been parroting the Democrat and media talking points, since 2020 Covid-19 and race riots are in the rearview mirror, no longer a viable election strategy. “You’re the reason that Donald Trump is a former president, or he hates when I say it, a defeated president,” Biden told the Holby Hills crowd, a posh community just west of Beverly Hills known for its sprawling hillside estates. Biden knows where to look for cash for his 2024 campaign, traveling cross country to score big bucks in Hollywood. “Literally, I believe, the future of democracy is at stake,” Biden told the liberal crowd. “The greatest threat Trump poses is to our democracy, because if we lost that, we lose everything,” Biden said.
Biden’s pitch is so primitive, so simple, so unconvincing, it insults any liberal with any intelligence. When it comes to what a new term would mean for the nation, the U.S. and world economy, not to mention war-and-peace, are on the ballot. What does Biden’s Hollywood audience think of his reckless proxy war against the Kremlin, using Ukraine as the battleground for his war with 71-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin? Most of Biden’s audience wouldn’t vote for Trump if he were the second coming of Christ. If electing Biden meant the death of the U.S. economy and WW III, Hollywood elites would still vote for Biden. Hollywood has created an elaborate mythology, like with Scientology, obsessed with demonizing Trump and Republicans. So, if WW III or nuclear war happened on Biden’s watch, Hollywood still wouldn’t vote for Trump.
Biden threw red meat at the liberal crowd, reminding them about Jan. 6, 2021 when right wing loonies vandalized the Capitol. “It’s despicable. It’s simply despicable,” Biden said of Former President Donald Trump watching the Capitol riots on TV in the West Wing dining room. “My guess is that he won’t show up at my next inauguration,” showing the kind of Biden wisecracking that sometime slips out. Biden’s wisecracking gets him into trouble when talking recently about Chinese President Xi Jinping. Biden told reporters that Xi was still a dictator, only minutes after meeting him for a mend-fences summit near San Francisco last month. When it comes to Trump, everything Biden says is scripted, thinking that he can continue slamming Trump with impunity, knowing he’s more hated on the West Coast. Biden’s proxy war with the Kremlin, not Trump, threatens U.S. democracy.
Biden continued to hammer Trump to the Holmby Hills audience. “The other day [Trump] said, He would be a dictator only one t day. That God. Only one day,” Biden said tongue-in-cheek. Trump knows that Biden likes to use Executive Orders, a dictatorial process bypassing Congress, something he did to forgive billions in student loan debt, until the Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional. Trump said he would spend one day to end the Ukraine War, Biden’s biggest foreign policy disaster. If given four more years, Biden could easily wind up in a war with Communist China that would certainly mean WW III, with a two-front war, one in Ukraine the other in Taiwan. Biden has the entire liberal media behind him, calling Trump a dictator. Trump didn’t start a war with the Kremlin to save Ukraine that happened a year into Biden’s first term.
Protesting in Holmby Hills Park near Michael Smith’s Home hosting the fundraiser, angry pro-Palestinian protesters screamed “Free Palestine,” “Ceasfire now,” and “Stop the genocide,” something the Los Angeles Police Department kept a lid on so close to Biden’s event. Biden was in good company with co-hosts Stephen Spielberg, Shonda Phimes, Rob Reiner and Peter Chernin. Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, even her rival billionaire developer Rick Caruso attended the event. Biden’s supporters don’t pay attention to the high inflation caused by the Ukraine War and Russian oil embargo, not to mention trillions of dollars in government spending, all designed as post-pandemic stimulus. Economists, like former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, warned that Biden’s big spending would spur inflation.
Biden tells his Hollywood crowd to open up their checkbooks to stop Trump’s march to destroy U.S. democracy. Biden wants Hollywood to back unending foreign war and possible news ones with Communist China. Giving Biden four more years would continue the Ukraine War and possibly start a new one with Beijing. Yet, according to Biden, it’s all worth it to prevent Trump from becoming present again. “He [Trump] embraces political violence instead of rejecting it,” Biden told the crowd. Biden doesn’t say that he favors foreign wars like the one in Ukraine. No one in Biden’s audience seemed the least bit concerned about Biden’s warmongering, content to blame Trump for Jan. 6. Biden might very well get his wish to beat Trump for the second time. If Trump drops out for whatever reason, the vaunted rematch with Biden may never take place.
