Hitting Israel with hundreds of Iranian-made rockets in Tel Aviv and infiltrating the Israeli-Gaza border on land, sea and in the air, Hamas terrorists hit Israel in the worst one-day attack in recent history, marking a colossal failure by Israel’s Mossad Security Services. Without question today’s attack on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah exposed an intel failure similar to the Sept. 11 attacks No one in Israel, as reported today, saw the carefully-planned-and-coordinated attack, leaving 200 Israelies dead an unknown numbers taken hostage by Hamas terrorists. Speaking at the White House, 80-year-old President Joe Biden expressed his sympathy for Israeli casualties, denouncing Hamas terrorist and promising any-and-all U.S. support available. Biden stated unequivocally that Irsrael has a right o defend itself against Hamas attacks, forecasting a forceful Israeli military response.

Hamas terrorists picked a bad time to attack Israel when the 2024 elections get closer by the day, prompting Biden to pledge his unambiguous response to the latest spate of violence. Ramallah-based 87-year-old Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud h as yet to respond but it’s clear that he knew Hamas’ plan to attack Israel but said nothing to Israeli officials. Whether Abbas condemns the attack or not, it’s clear that he was informed in advance, with all the known disputes with Israel in the West Bank. White House officials pretend that there’s a degree of separation between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas. In reality, both organizations are one in the same, essentially controlled by Iran’s mullah government, considering Israel its archenemy. Former President Donald Trump saw things clearly in 2018 when he cancelled former President Barack Obama’s Iranian Nuke Deal.

Nettanyahu won’t respond on demand-or-whim from foreign actors but will methodically plan a response to Hamas that will help prevent future attacks. Netanyahu has a lot of questions to answer how the vaunted Mossad Security Service dropped the ball much like the CIA or FBI on Sept. 11. Declaring Israel at war with Hamas, Netanyahu let Israel’s allies and foes know that the Israeli government will spare no detail in formulating a crushing attack. Whether Netanyahu orders a bloody full-scaled tank invasion is anyone’s guess. Israeli air strikes have already begin in what looks like a major escalation at a time when Biden’s Ukraine War gets questioned by more U.S. lawmakers knowing, the State Department can no longer depend on Russia for any geopolitical military help. Biden finds himself in an increasingly unpopular war, wrecking decades of U.S.-Russian relations.

Today’s attack on Israel blindsided Israeli Defense Forces [IDF], including its Mossad intelligence and security services, leaving Israel looking more vulnerable to outside attack than ever. Israeli officials sees the attack as one between Tehran and Israel when Hamas committed the terrorist actions. “The Prime Minister thanked the U.S. President for his unreserved support made it clear that a prolonged and power campaign would be required tin which Israel would win,” said a post from Netanyahu’s office. Israel has been through this before with a full-scale military invasion engendering condemnation in the U.N. and elsewhere. As of now, Israel has Biden’s blessing to do whatever is needed to stop future attacks. Rooting out terrorists from Gaza or the West Bank is never easy, considering they live in the civilian population. Israel always operates with different rules of engagement in all military operations.

Today’s attack on U.S. premier Mideast ally exposes what’s wrong with Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation. When the U.S. depletes its military resources on Ukraine, it can’t juggle everything all at once, including defending allies against new more unexpected attacks. So when Congress debates the new House Speaker, its expects to pick someone opposed to the Ukraine War. Biden badly miscalculated Russia’s resolve in battling the Western Alliance in Ukraine. Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky though they could degrade the Russian military and eventually topple the Russian Federation. Biden knows now that the Ukraine War isn’t expected to end anytime soon, meaning Congress is getting fed up giving Ukraine as blank check for U.S. taxpayer cash to fund the bankrupt Ukraine government and war with the Kremlin.

Today’s attack in Israel should send a wake-up call to Biden that his reckless proxy war against the Kremlin diminishes U.S. foreign policy and national security. Front-runner to win the House Speaker’s job, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) opposes more Ukraine funding to get back to repairing U.S.-Russian relations. “The terrorists responsible for this ongoing war against Israel were trained and equipped by Iran, the same terror state providing lethal drones to Russia to attack Ukraine. There must be consequences for those who conduct or support such terror,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). McConnell used today’s terrorist attacks to back the Ukraine War, rather that see Ukraine as a distraction to U.S. foreign policy. McConnell exposes his limited understanding of foreign policy begs for his retirement. Today’s attack on Israel should push the White House to end the Ukraine War.
