Finding any Republican politician or TV host to attack 77-year-old President Donald Trump, Democrat have a field day finding any conservative to stick it to the former president. Liberal print and broadcast outlets give free airtime to any Republican willing to lash out at Trump, a growing body of Republicans unwilling to admit the 2024 GOP field lacks the gravitas to upend 80-year-old President Joe Biden in next year’s presidential election. Fox News 80-year-old former host and pundit Brit Hume took a cheap shot at Trump, talking about his Aug. 1 indictment by Special Counsel Jank Smith, accusing Trump of defrauding the U.S. government and obstructing officials government business with the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots. Speaking to Fox New Charlie Kirk, Hume took as shot at Trump for the vast GOP pile on, finding anything negative to attack the ex-president.
Kirk asked Hume why anti-Trump Republicans and Democrats have come out of the woodwork to sabotage his 20214 campaign. “If Trump was such a failed president, why are they doing everything the possibly can to prevent as second term of Trump,” Kirk asked Hume, prompting a snarky response. “Oh, I don’t know,” Hume tweeted. “Maybe they don’t want a repeat of a failed presidency. Just guessing here,” Hume told Kirk. Hume offered nothing concrete about Trump’s so-called “failed” presidency. Last time anyone checked, Trump didn’t start any foreign wars, certainly not like Biden with the Russian Federation. Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans don’t want to admit Biden’s foreign policy failures, trashing decades of cooperative diplomatic relations with China and the Russian Federation. Biden has pushed the world closer to WW III, blaming Russia and China.
Hume, like most anti-Trump Republicans, don’t give Trump any credit for maintaining good working relations with U.S. adversaries. During Trump’s tenure, the U.S. press accused Trump of having nefarious relations with Russia, China and North Korea, all now dangerous adversaries. Since taking office, Biden has turned generations of cooperative relations with America’s adversaries into hostile foreign relations. When it comes to all of Trump’s current indictments, they pale in comparison to current investigations into Biden’s corrupt business dealings with his 53-year-old Hunter and 74-year-old borther, Jim. If even a fraction of possible accusations by House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky,), Republicans have a strong case for impeaching Biden for his cryptic business dealings with U.S. adversaries.
Democrats are quick to say Biden has been vetted for his business dealings with his son Hunter and brother Jim, readily excusing the growing body of evidence potentially tying him to the Biden family business of shaking down foreign governments. Biden told the U.S. press in the 2020 election he knew nothing of Hunter’s business dealings. Turns out that not only was he involved, he attended numerous business meetings, intimately involved in Hunter’s business activities. No one in the liberal press questions anything that Biden does or did, all because of partisanship. When it comes to Trump, the sky is the limit when it comes to charging Trump wit a wide variety of fake crimes. Imagine, old classified documents found in moving boxes at Mar-a-Lago were called a national security threat by Special Counsel Jack Smith. Smith showed his extreme partisanship.
When it comes to the menagerie of Democrat and Republican Trump haters, Hume is just one more example of so-called conservative taking another cheap shot. When it comes to Smith’s recent charges, Hume doesn’t question anything about the spurious nature of the charges. Imagine any other citizens, other that Trump, charged with defrauding the U.S. government. Sounds completely bogus yet that’s how low Smith’s prosecution has gone. Smith has zero facts in evidence that support Trump participation in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots, Democrat like to call an insurrection. Smith acts like he as facts from the House Jan. 6 House Select Committee that prove Trump planned-and-orchestrated the Jan. 6 riots. Trump was acquitted of the charge Feb.13, 2021 in the U.S. Senate.
Hume is another example of how the left wing media like the HuffPost like to cite conservatives in attacking Trump. When it comes to Trump’s four years in office, there’s no denying that foreign relations with U.S. adversaries were far more cooperative than Biden. Biden has turned decades of détente into an active war with the Kremlin, threatening WW III in the European Content to defend corrupt Ukraine where Biden landed his son Hunter and former business partner Devon Archer with cushy jobs making millions at a corrupt Ukrainian energy company. No one in the press is willing to look objectively at Biden’s past track record, clearly showing pay-to-play politics in corrupt foreign regimes. Only Trump gets the indignity of hyped up charges for worthless old documents and phony ties to the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans can only stay in denial.
