Special Counsel Jack Smith, 55, has gone rogue, throwing the book at 77-year-old President Donald Trump, charging him with defrauding the U.S. government. Smith’s charges are arbitrary and capricious attempts to interfere in Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, repeating the same events in 2016 when former FBI Director James Comey opened up a counterintelligence investigation on fake probable cause. Comey, who was fired by Trump May 9. 2017, used former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s fabricated opposition research AKA the Steele Dossier, as probable cause to investigate Trump’s alleged ties with the Kremlin. One week after Trump fired Comey, former Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to investigate Trump’s alleged ties to the Kremlin. Two years later, he cleared Trump.

Smith’s recent charges and the one in April follow the same government patter of politicizing the Department of Justice with the intent of knocking Trump out of the 2024 presidential race. Smith charged Trump in April of mishandling classified documents, taken from the White House and relocated to Palma Beach in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in in moving boxes containing worthless junk. Monday’s new charges are especially egregious because of the vagueness, not sounding like real charges at all. What does it mean to defraud the U.S. government? Democrats and the press claim Trump “Big Lie” that he won the 2020 election, claiming widespread voter fraud. Democrats and the press claim that no court found evidence of widespread voter fraud. All true, but they couldn’t account for universal maili-in ballots that handed the 2020 race to President Joe Biden.

Smith acts like he has proof that Trump planned, orchestrated and participatd in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection, when Trump told his Jan. 6, 2021 audience to peacefully protest. Yet Democrats and the press insist that Trump was responsible for the riots. Smith has no evidence only political opinions that have no bearing on his legal case against Trump. Non only did Trump not plan the Jan. 6 riots, there’s mounting evidence they were planned by certain rogue groups for months before the event. Yet House Democrats impeached Trump for “incitement of insurrection,” claiming Trump whipped the crowd up to violence. Smith sounds more like CNN’s Anderson Cooper that a DOJ prosecutor. He said Trump engaged in an unprecedented attack on U.S. democracy, making the same wild accusations made by partisan media hacks.

Smith charge Trump with obstructing a government proceeding, referring to the orderly transfer of power certifying the Electoral College Election. He cites as proof former Vice President Mike Pence telling him Trump told him to refuse to certify the election, sending the process back to the States. Trump actually believed that Pence had the constitutional authority to block the 2020 Electoral College certification. Pence, of course, had no such power but, whatever Trump thought, Smith has no proof that Trump ordered the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers to vandalize the Capitol to block the Electoral College Vote certification. Smith assumes facts no in evidence when he engages in wild conjecture of a ny role Trump played in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots. Only partisan Democrats, seeking to get rid of Trump, say he participated in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

When it comes to fidelity to the U.S. Constitution, Smith has none, giving Trump no presumption of innocence, making his case through the liberal press. How can Trump get a fair trial when the 24/7 news media has Trump tried-and-convicted on all charges? What Smith calls evidence is nothing more than partisan gossip by Democrat hacks looking to give Biden four more years to destroy the country with his unending foreign wars. Trump serves the White House purpose of destracting the country from more pressing war-and-peace issues that if left unchecked could start WW III, possibly nuclear war, ending civilization as we know it. Yet the media is obsessed with Trump, finding any way possible to prevent him from running for president in 2024. Smith’s public statements sound more lie a Democrat political hack or TV pundit than a DOJ prosecutor.

Before Smith has any credibility, he must explain how the DOJ and FBI investigated Trump for five years for his alleged ties to the Kremlin. Comey got away with murder investigating Trump with former President Obama’s Justice Department. Smith has zero credibility until he addresses partisan abuses at the DOJ and FBI. All his charges against Trump are wortJohnhless unless he has credibility.. New York Times,Washington Post and CNN don’t determine the nature of charges against a former president. What message does Smith’s latest witch hunt send to the Free World? It demonstrates little difference between authoritarian regimes or a banana republics in persecuting political enemies. No denying that to Democrats and the press Trump is public enemy No. 1. Government prosecutors must uphold the Constitution not eviscerate it.
