Former Special Counsel John Durham (R-Conn.), 73, is due to testify in closed session today in the House Intelligence Committee about his devastating 300-page report about the four year investigation into Crossfire Hurricane. Durham was tasked Dec. 1, 2020 by 73-year-old former Atty. Gen. Bill Barr to investigate the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, launched in 2016 by 62-year-old former FBI Director James Comey. Comey insisted that he had sufficient probable cause to open a counterintelligence investigation of Trump and his 2016 campaign. Turns out that Comey actually used former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s paid opposition research AKA the Steele dossier as probable cause. Hillary dossier was given to 67-year-old former CIIA director John Brennan who, in turn, gave it to Comey in summer 2016 during Trump’s stretch run for president.

Durham’s presence on Capitol Hill concerns the Department of Justice and the FBI, currently charging 77-year-old former President Donald Trump with 37 felonies June 9 related to classified docs found by the FBI at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Durham’s May 12 300-page report cites irregularities at the DOJ and FBI in conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Trump and his 2026 campaign. Durham’s report reaches the same conclusions as DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz who found Nov. 18, 2029 that the DOJ and FBI did not follow its policies-and-procedures in conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Trump and his 2016 campaign. Testifying today in closed session of the House Intelligence Committee, Durham could embarrass the DOJ and FBI, busy prosecuting Trump for alleged violations of the 1917 Espionage Act.

Durham’s May 12 300-page report identifies irregularities at the FBI in conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Trump and his 2016 campaign. Durham took four years to investigate Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation conducted by Comey. Former Atty. Gen. Bill Barr said Comey spied on Trump’s 2016 campaign, prompting forceful denials by Comey who was fired by Trump May 8, 2017. Comey reacted to Barr’s April 8, 2019 statement that he spied on Trump and his 2016 campaign. Comey said, “I don’t know what the heck he’s talking about.” Comey has never been investigated for what amounts to illegal spying activity for political purposes. After Comey’s firing, several other FBI officials and agents were found to have engaged in an active conspiracy to sabotage Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Durham’s testimony today on his May 12 300-page report covers a four-year investigation that resulted in one conviction of FBI Atty. Kevin Clinesmith for altering a document to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] court to wire tap former Trump foreign policy aid Carter Page. Clinesmith removed information about Page’s past work for the CIA. FISA court issues an order to wiretap Page because of Clinesmith’s deletion of Page’s CIA background. Durham charged former Hillary campaign attorney Michael Sussmann of lying for not telling the FBI he worked for the campaign in 2016 when he came forward accusing Trump of Russian collusion. Sussmann was acquitted May 31, 2022 of perjury. But Durham found out he didn’t tell the FBI at the time he worked for the Hillary campaign. So, in four years, Durham had only one conviction.

Durham’s 300-page report exposes what Democrats and the press covered up for years, the fake Russian hoax against Trump. Durham’s report reflects poorly on the DOJ and FBI, violating its own policies and procedures to investigate Trump. Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) currently faces censure from the Republican-controlled House for spreading falsehoods about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin. Trump was subjected to a 22-month, $40 million Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigation, ending March 23, 2019, concluding Trump had no improper ties to Russia. Yet Schiff supplied fake intel to the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC and other media outlets insisting he in fact colluded with the Kremlin. Given the DOJ’s current charges against Trump, all these facts weigh on the DOJ’s credibility to charge Trump.

Durham’s closed-door testimony in the House Intelligence Committee exposes corruption and incompetence at the DOJ, bearing on Special Counsel Jack Smith’s current 37-count indictment on Trump. Smith said in his June 9 indictment that boxed classified docs found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate threaten U.S. national security. Does Smith have any opinion on how Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin affects U.S. national security? Durham will let the House Intel Committee know about the DOJ and FBI’s past illegal activities when they opened up Crossfire Hurricane, the so-called Russian hoax investigation. How can the American public trust Smith’s 37-count indictment against Trump when the DOJ operated politically to sabotage Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Durham’s 300-page report speaks volumes about the fake news industry all pushing the Russian hoax.
