Doing his best to end the Ukraine War, 77-year-old Brazilian President Luiz Ignacio da Silva [Lulu] called out 80-year-old President Joe Biden for funding the Ukraine War. Lulu met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, calling for end to the war in the interest of world peace. Lulu doesn’t buy Biden’s claptrap about 70-year-old President Vladimir Putin trying to take over Europe or at least some former Soviet satellites. Lulu is a key player in the BRICS economic bloc involving Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, all of which want the war to end but don’t subscribe to Biden’s punitive economic sanctions against the Kremlin. Meeting in Brazilia, Brazil’s Foreign Minister Mauro Vieria and Lavrov discussed a major deal for Brazilian meat with a large purchase of Russian fertilizer. Putin has more than compensated for Biden’s economic sanctions.

Unlike Biden that blames Putin for everything, the BRICS group shows that Biden does not have a consensus on how to resolve the Ukraine War. Only the European Union and a handful of Asian allies subscribe to Biden’s punitive economic sanctions. Lulu wants the war to end but not on the U.S. conditions of supplying unlimited cash-and-arms to the Kiev government. Lulu met recently with Chinese President Xi Jinping, all sharing his view that the war must end but not exclusively on Kiev’s terms. Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky and Biden insist, at least for now, that Russia remove all its troops from Ukraine. Russian had troops in Donbas and Crimea before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, and will no doubt have them for the foreseeable future. Biden and Zelensky have threatened to carry on the war as long as it takes to expel Russia from Ukraine’s sovereign territory.

Meeting with Xi, Lulu called for the U.S. to stop supplying arms to Ukraine. China sees the U.S. as meddling in the internal affairs of a border dispute between Ukraine and Russia, taking the Ukraine side, demanding that Russia leave Ukraine or the war continues indefinitely. Xi and Lulu want the war to end, calling on the U.S. to stop its warmongering. China has grave concerns about U.S. meddling in Taiwan, with Biden violating the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act, saying Sept. 23, 2022 that he would supply troops to defend Taiwan in the event of a Beijing invasion. “The United States needs to stop encouraging war and start talking about peace,” Lulu said, speaking to state TV. “We are trying to build a group of countries without any involvement in the war that don’t want the war and defend world peace to have a discussion with both Russia and Ukraine,” Lulu told journalists.

Lulu recognizes the tireless work of 44-year-old French President Emmanuel Macron who’s taken heat from the U.S. and Kiev for daring to broker a peace with the Russian Federation. Macron said recently after a visit with Xi in Beijing that the European Union should not follow the U.S. on its policy of going to war to rescue Taiwan from a Beijing invasion. Biden has claimed he has a broad consensus of allies supporting his proxy war against the Kremlin, only to find the Putin also has his allies and business partners around the globe. Biden’s Russian oil embargo fueled inflation in the U.S. and Europe, creating an economic slowdown teetering on recession. Biden doesn’t admit that the Ukraine War threatens world peace, destabilized age-old alliances, including the decades-old détente between the U.S. and Moscow. Today, the U.S. and Russia are at war with Ukrainian proxies.

Macron and Lulu see Biden’s belligerent approach toward foreign policy, especially with Russia and China, destabilizing peace and the world economy. Asking neutral countries to broker a peace deal, Lulu hopes to push the peace process along, when it’s currently resisted by the U.S. and Kiev. To Lulu and Macon, it doesn’t matter who started the war or, for that matter, who’s right. What matters is engaging in a peace process to bring both sides to the table. ”Putin, and Putin alone, is responsible for the unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine,” said Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Tx.), Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. War hawks in Congress led by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) relish the chance to take on Putin, after losing to him in Syria and elsewhere. Graham doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about a possible war with China over Taiwan.

Lulu has shown statesmanship trying to find common ground to end the conflict in Ukraine. Running counter to U.S. foreign policy, Lulu showed he’s not afraid to speak his mind, even if it roils the White House. After meeting with Xi, Lulus understands the need to not take sides but to work independently for peace, not join the uncompromising warmongers, continuing to fuel the conflict. Lulu and Xi want the U.S. to stop supplying cash-and-arms to Kiev to continue the conflict that must end eventually at the peace table. Biden and Zelensky act like they can battle the Russian Federation indefinitely at the expense of world peace. Xi agrees with Lulu that Biden continues to fuel the Ukraine conflict and push for a possible conflict over Taiwan. Biden has zero chance of building an EU or Asian coalition to back a war with China. Biden’s warmongering must stop before its too late.
