Showing that he’s ready for retirement, 80-year-old President Joe Biden ripped China publicly for its 12-point white paper on Ukraine, proposing concrete steps for a ceasefire and peace talks to end the Ukraine War. Biden has abysmal relations with China already and doesn’t need to rebuke China on global airwaves for putting its best step forward to see the conflict over. One thing’s for sure, Biden wants the exact opposite, keeping the proxy war with the Kremlin going into an indefinite future. China tried to satisfy all parties, putting together suggestions to end the one-year-old war that has destabilized world financial markets, promoted conflict on the European Continent and raised the specter of WW III and nuclear war. Biden has done nothing other than supply Ukraine unlimited cash-and-lethal weapons to battle the Russian Federation, seeking to vanquish 70-year-old President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking to ultra-liberal ABC News, Biden rejected China’s attempt to broker any ceasefire or peace deal, accusing Beijing on Russia’s side. Chinese President Xi Jinpin, 69, has made clear he wants the war to end but wants both sides to sit down at the peace table and work things out. “[Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s applauding it, so how could it be any good?” Biden told ABC News on the one-year anniversary of the conflict. Biden has watched the conflict decimate Ukraine’s dilapidated infrastructure, killed thousands and driven millions of citizens into exile. Yet to Biden, China’s to blame for trying to find a path to peace, a way to stop the horror of a grinding conflict that only makes a bad situation worse. “I’ve seen nothing in the plan that would indicate that there is something that would be beneficial to anyone other than Russia, if the Chinese plan were followed,” Biden said.
Biden should applaud any country or private citizen that comes up with any plan to stop the carnage and destruction. Biden’s has done everything possible to alienate China, starting from Day One when he called Putin a “soulless killer.” Biden insulted China accusing Beijing of genocide on Muslim Uyghurs in Western China. Then, if that weren’t bad enough, he told Chinese President Xi Jinping Sept. 23, 2022 that he would commit U.S. troops to defend Taiwan if Beijing dares to invade. How does that make Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymr Zelensky feel when Biden won’t commit any U.S. troops to Ukraine? Biden’s antagonism toward Russia and China moved up the Atomic Scientists’ Doomsday Clock the time at which a nuclear holocaust would end the world. Biden’s proxy war using Ukrainian troops against the Kremlin raises the specter of nuclear war.
Biden doesn’t back a peace plan because the defense industry has made a killing supplying weapons and war materiel to Ukraine. China put its best foot forward trying to satisfy what looks like unrealistic demands from Ukraine and Russia, only to be told by Biden China’s on Russia’s side. Well, 60-yar-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken and 45-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan back on Zelensky’s 10-point plan calling for Putin to be tried in the Hague’s International Criminal Court as a war criminal. Zelensky’s peace plan is far more unrealistic than Beijing’s, looking only to blame Putin. “The idea that China is going to be negotiating the outcome of a war that’s a totally unjust war for Ukraine is just not rational,” Biden said. How does Biden expect to mend fences with China making such hostile statements? Biden has not plan other than continuing more arms Ukraine.
Watching his country locked in a war of attrition with Moscow, Zelensky must wonder why the U.S. hasn’t gone all in giving Ukraine whatever weapons it wants to battle the Russian Federation. Zelensky has been asking from Day One for U.S. and NATO troops and to set up a no-fly-zone in Ukraine, only to be told “NO!” Zelensky recently asked and received battle tanks from the U.S. and NATO, planning to use them in a new Spring offensive when the weather begins to warm up. Receiving tanks-and-missiles, Zelensky plans on more fighting to reclaim sovereign territory lost during the first years of fighting. Most military experts don’t expect Zelensky to oust the Russian Federation from Ukraine in 2023, nor do they expect that to happen anytime soon. Yet armed with new weapons, Zelensky will order his troops to fight the Russian Federation with a new ferocity.
China’s attempt at peacemaking should be applauded by Biden, not rebuked for being biased toward Russia. As long as Biden funds the Kiev government and the war against the Kremlin, the U.S. can’t be an impartial peace broker. China has no ax to grind in the conflict other than stopping the destruction and suffering of the Ukrainian people. Watching 10,000 anti-war demonstrators in Berlin today shows that not everyone’s in Biden’s alliance supports the war against the Kremlin. When asked about supplying Kiev F-16 fighter jets to Kiev, Biden said they weren’t needed at this time. “He doesn’t need F-16s now,” Biden said. “I am ruling it out for now,” making zero sense. If Biden supplies battle tanks and other lethal weapons to Ukraine, why would he stop now without U.S. fighter jets? Biden has no right to rebuke China for trying to find common ground in Ukraine for peace.
