Telling the world Oct. 6 that the world could face “Armageddon” if Russian President Vladimir Putin uses tactical nukes in Ukraine, 79-year-old President Joe Biden shows for all to see why he’s not fit as commander-in-chief. Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation has pushed the world to the brink, not Putin threating to use nuclear weapons if Russian national security is threatened in Ukraine. No one forced Biden to tell the world March 26 that Putin must be removed from office. Nor did anyone tell 69-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin April 26 in Ramstein, Germany that the aim of the U.S. mission in Ukraine is to degrade the Russian military to the point that Putin can no longer wage war. If that’s not a declaration of war on the Russian Federation, then what is? Biden talks about nuclear war but he has no evidence that Putin has changed Russia’s nuclear posture.

Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation has the backing of no one, other that Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky. No one in NATO or the European Union [EU] signed up for war with the Russian Federation. While Brussels opposes Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the EU and NATO didn’t sign up for WW III on the European Continent. Where did Biden think he could wage war against Putin is anyone’s guess. Helping Ukraine didn’t require Biden to go to war against Moscow or expect his EU allies to join in. NATO and the EU wants Putin out of Ukraine but they don’t want to go to war with the Kremlin to defend the Kiev government. Biden has gone so far overboard with his proxy war against the Russian Federation, he raises the prospects of Armageddon because he placed the U.S., EU and NATO into a vulnerable position. Everyone in the EU and NATO should be all in on ceasefire and peace talks at the earliest possible time.

Biden and Zelensky have shown no interest in ceasefire or peace talks because Zelensky has lost so much Ukrainian territory over the last seven months of war, they both want it back before peace talks begin. Biden raised the prospects of a nuclear Holocaust the longer the Ukraine War goes, where miscalculation is possible at any time. “He was reinforcing what we have been saying which is how seriously we take these threats about nuclear weapons,” said White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters. What Jean-Pierre forgets is that this is Biden’s proxy war using Ukrainian troops against the Russian Federation. When Biden decided to go to war against Putin, he changed the risk profile for the conflict in the European Continent. EU and NATO officials need to tell Biden to stop talking about Armageddon and start talking about ceasefire and peace talks.

Biden refers to the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis as the last time the U.S. confronted the Soviet Union on placing ICBMs in Cuba, 90 miles from Miami. “For the first time since the Cuban Missile Crisis, we have a direct threat to the use of nuclear weapons, if in fact things continue down the path they’d be going,” Biden told Democrats in New York. When President John F. Kennedy managed the Cuban Missile Crisis, the U.S. was not in a hot war against the Soviet Union. Karine Jean-Pierre was born 12 years after the Cuban Missile Crisis and knows little about it. Since the end of WW II, the U.S. was in a Cold War with the Soviet Union, countering Soviet expansionism wherever it popped up around the globe. Kennedy or his predecessor, Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, was not firing rockets at Russian troops in a neutral country. Biden has made today’s world far more dangerous than the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Jean-Pierre said that the Cuban Missile Crisis taught the U.S. about reducing nuclear risk. So how is going to war against the Russian Federation, trying to topple Putin’s government, reducing risk for nuclear war? “If the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis has taught us anything, it is the value of reducing nuclear risk and not brandishing it,” said Jean-Pierre, totally ignoring Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation. Nothing increases nuclear risk more than a hot war where nuclear weapons becomes another option for combatants. What lesson has Biden learned about the Cuban Missile Crisis, to break off diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation? Openly fighting a proxy war against the Kremlin poses the biggest risk to nuclear war since WW II. Biden has crossed the line and must be reeled back from the brink. Only by ceasefire and peace talks can the situation change.

Whether or not Putin’s nuclear preparedness remains unchanged, the prospects of WW III and nuclear war have never been greater. How could Biden think that he could go to war against the Russian Federation without endangering the U.S. and European Continent with WW III and Nuclear War? Biden doesn’t know Putin as he says he does. Why would he start a hot war with Russia when it increases the chances of nuclear war and WW III with the Kremlin? More responsible statesman in the EU and NATO must pressure Biden to end his proxy war against Russia and move the Ukraine conflict to the peace table at the earliest possible time. Biden says Putin is “not joking” about using nuclear weapons. What is Biden doing fighting a proxy war against the Kremlin without considering his “Armageddon” consequences to the U.S. and EU? Ending the Ukraine War is the only way forward.
