After raiding 76-year-old former President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago residence, the anti-Trump media has gone wild, saying Trump violated U.S. records’ acts and possibly obstruction of justice. Every document has been scrutinized for its national security significance with 53-year-old former disgraced, discredited and fired FBI Agent Peter Strzok saying foreign government have no doubt searched the docs for national security significance. That’s the same Peter Strzok that conspired with former FBI Atty. Lisa Page to sabotage Trump 2016 campaign. But that doesn’t stop CNN from relying on convicted felons for sensational headlines just like when former Atty. Michael Avenatti was CNN’s chief nightly pundit all because he was willing to trash Trump. CNN didn’t care that Avenatti had been convicted in federal court of extorting $25 million from Nike Inc.
Now a former communication director Alyssa Farah Griffin said Trump might have taken the White House docs to maintain leverage over the government. “I think. DOJ has an obligation at some point to give a sense, without revealing of course, even the subject matter, because I think knowing the former president we have to kind of think about why he does things and his motivations behind things,” said Griffin. Griffin of course shots from the hip, not knowing what she’s talking about. Griffin could just have easily said Trump had no idea how or why the White House docs wound up in a locked basement at Mar-a-Lago. Anyone knowing Trump would know he has no clue about packing boxes or relocating boxes to Mar-a-Lago. So if it turns out that Trump had no motives in mind because he had no clued how classified White House documents got stuffed in boxes, it’s a different ballgame.
Democrats and the press have tried-and-convicted Trump of violating U.S. records acts, even saying he’s committed obstruction of justice. But no one really knows some 25 boxes of documents seized on Aug. 8 at Mar-a-Lago. Democrats and the media want Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland to charge Trump with a crime for mishandling government property. No one really know who’s responsible for shipping White House docs to Mar-a-Lago in the frenetic days before Trump vacated the White House in 2021. Trump was not even president when the Senate acquitted Trump Feb. 13, 2021 of “incitement of insurrection,” an old charge against Trump for inciting a Capitol riot Jan. 6. House Democrats led by 82-year-old Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) went after Trump following his Feb. 13 acquittal, insisting, without proof, that the former president planned and orchestrated the Jan. 6 insurrection.
All issues related to Mar-a-Lago sucked all the headlines from the House Committee once the Department of Justice conducted the first raid on a former president in U.S. history. Hearing Trump’s former employee speculate about Trump’s motives in the Aug. 8 Mar-a-Lago raid shows how the anti-Trump media’s willing to talk with anyone, including convicted felons, as long as they slam Trump. “And once we have to keep in mind is leverage, is this something he’s holding on to help his future political ambitions?” conjectured Griffin. “Or is this simply that he took classified documents unknowingly, was warned, did not turn them back over, and there was no motive or intent in doing so,” Griffin said. Whether admitted to or not by the press, the worthless boxes of docs, locked in Mar-a-Lago basement, have no national security significance at all, certainly compared with Biden’s proxy war.
Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland wants to charge Trump but, when it comes to the Mar-a-Lago document recovery, there’s zero evidence Trump knew anything about what was contained in the boxes. Democrats and the press want to hold Trump responsible for nsferring classified docs from the White House to Mar-a-Lago. But the DOJ can’t speak with any certainty that Trump know what was in the boxes. Everyone wants to attribute the worst possible motives to classified docs ending up in a locked Mar-a-Lago basement. But unless the DOJ can say that Trump took the White House documents for future leverage, they have no case against him. When you consider the real national security threats to the U.S., they certainly don’t come from Trump Mara-a-Lago documents. When it comes to Democrat and the U.S. press, they play a lot of dirty tricks to demonize Trump based on fake intel.
U.S. press has latched on to the Mar-a-Lago raid thinking it’s their best shot of getting Trump indicted before the Midterm elections. Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland doesn’t yet have the prerequisites needed to charge Trump without creating backlash with a deeply divided nation. President Joe Biden, 79, has been ripping Trump in the news, calling his MAGA movement a semi-fascist group. Biden knows he enjoyed the media’s help of demonizing Trump about the U.S. Covid-19 response, Trump’s racist views in the wake of George Floyd’s May 25, 2020 death and consequences to the U.S. economy with government shutdowns in the Covid-19 global pandemic. Biden’s new theme of Trump’s “semi-fascism” probably won’t resonate with voters because it’s over their heads. All the current and former Trump employees condemn the former President shows that there’s plenty of antipathy for Trump.
