Russia’s 72-year-old Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia will find ways around the punitive economic sanctions he now calls “hybrid war” against the Russia Federation. President Joe Biden, 79. thought he could wage economic and proxy war [hybrid war] against the Russian Federation without consequences to the U.S. and global economy but was dead wrong. No only is Russia forging strong partnerships with China and India, both countries resent Biden’s attempt to impose a Russian boycott on countries around the globe. Biden’s Russian embargo drew as strong rebuke for Saudi’s 62-year-old oil minister Abduaziz bin Salman, telling Biden that the Kingdom can’t compensate in world markets for a loss of Russian oil and natural gas. Addulaziz refused to even return Biden’s calls when he asked the Kingdom to ramp up oil production to make up for the Russian embargo.

Biden didn’t consider the effect on the U.S. and global economy on a Russian oil embargo, all because of a border dispute with Ukraine. Why Biden has adopted Ukraine as a 52st state is anyone’s guess. Considered one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, Biden’s 51-year-old son Hunter worked for four years for a corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, making him, and his partner Devon Archer, millions. Biden’s spent billions morphing the Ukraine War into what Lavrov calls a “hybrid war” but really is a good old fashion proxy war against the Russian Federation. Biden and Ukraine’s 44-year-old neophyte President Volodymyr Zelensky think they can battle the Russian Federation, driving Putin out of power. No one in the European Union [EU] backs Biden and Zelensky’s madness. All EU countries and NATO want the war to end as soon as possible.

Lavrov let the West know that Russia has endured periodic Russian boycotts for years and will endure this one too. “The collective West has declared total hybrid war on us and its is hard to predict how long all this will last but it is clear the consequences will be felt by everyone, without exception,” Lavrov said. So Biden trashed U.S.-Russian relations to defend a corrupt Ukrainian regime, boycotting Russian oil, creating worldwide shortages and skyrocketing prices. Does this sound like a carefully considered strategy? “We did everything to avoid a direct clash—but no that the challenge has been thrown down, we of course accept it. We are no strangers to sanctions: They were almost always there in one form or another,” Lavrov said, telling the West that Russia can weather out the storm. Biden thought he could break the Russian Federation with sanctions.

Biden has burnt bridges with Russia and China soon after taking office. Accusing Russia and China of human rights abuses, Biden once demanded that Putin release Russia dissident Alexi Navalny from a Russia prison. Then Biden accused China of genocide against Muslim Uyghurs in Western China, antagonizing Beijing to the point of breaking off diplomatic relations. Biden’s inept foreign policy has painted the U.S. into a corner, with only the U.K. or EU to turn to. Biden then boycotted the Beijing Winter Olympics, driving Russia into China’s hands. Both countries pledge a new ear a economic cooperation, allowing Russia to survive all of Biden’s sanctions. “Not only Russia but many others too are reducing dependence on the U.S. dollar, western technology and markets,” Lavrov said, accusing the West of seizing some $300 billion in Russian assets, a act of “state piracy.”

Biden can’t continue threatening other countries with sanctions because they refuse to honor his Russian oil embargo. India has bought twice as much oil from Russia as it normally does in the two months following the Feb. 24 Ukraine War. What’s Biden supposed to do, trash relations with India because they make a business decision where to buy crude oil? Biden and Zelensky morphed the Ukraine War into a U.S.-backed proxy war against the Russian Federation, not an attempt to support Ukraine’s plan to retain its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Despite all the U.S., Ukraine and Western propaganda about progress, Russia has seized almost all of Ukraine’s Black Sea coastline. How’s Ukraine going to get that back anytime soon? Yet if you ask Biden and Zelensky, they’re making real progress thwarting Russia’s plans in Ukraine. All the fake news backs Biden and Zelensky’s claims.

Lavrov and Putin know that the Russian economy does better when it’s not under Western sanctions, causing an 8.8% to 12.4% contraction in the Russian economy. Whether admitted to or not the U.S. economy has also contracted by 1.4%, potentially also going into recession. Without Russia oil on world markets, the global economy from Europe to China is also contracting. Another quarter of contraction puts the U.S. economy officially into recession. Biden has no plan how to fix U.S.-Russian or U.S-Chinese relations, leaving U.S. national security in jeopardy. When it comes to the Ukraine War, Biden has embarked the U.S. on the most dangerous course in U.S. history. Never before since WW II, has any U.S. president pushed WW III to the brink. Biden needs to start listening to the EU and NATO that wants no part of his proxy war against the Russian Federation.
