Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced today that it was on verge of breaking off U.S. diplomatic relations over 79-year-old President Joe Biden calling 69-year-old President Vladimir Putin a “war criminal.” Biden made a similar blunder March 18, 2021 calling Putin a “soulless killer,” when it came to allegation about poisoning 24-year-old Russian dissident Alexi Navalny, now serving time in a Russian prison. Calling Putin a “war criminal” March 17, Biden once again made a bad situation worse when it comes to U.S.-Russian relations. Not since the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution has U.S-Russian relations been so adversarial. Russia joined the U.S. and allied effort during WW II to defeat Adolf Hitler. Biden’s insulting remarks and now the Ukraine War have left U.S.-Russian relations on the verge of collapse. Other European powers continue to maintain relations with Moscow.
Calling Putin a “war criminal” only spurs the Russian leader into continuing his mission in Ukraine to demilitarize the country due to U.S. and NATO arms shipments. Biden takes zero responsibility for creating the Ukraine War by ignoring Putin’s requests for new security arrangement in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Biden told Putin his requests were “non-starters” prompting his invasion. Biden caledl the invasion “unprovoked and unjustified” but supplying massive amounts of arms to Ukraine over Putin’s objections prompted Putin to invade Ukraine Feb. 24. Putin has massed over 100,000 Russian troops near the Ukraine border to let Biden know he took the arming of Ukraine seriously. But instead of sitting down an working out a new security arrangement, Biden ignored Putin’s requests, prompting him to take desperate measures to defend Russia’s national security.
Biden’s March 18 Zoom meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping didn’t go well when he asked Xi to denounce Putin’s Ukraine War. White House officials hoped that China would show more support in condemning Putin. But since the botched March 18, 2021 Anchorage, Alaska summit, relations with China hit rock bottom. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 59, and 45-year-old National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, accused Beijing of genocide against Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang Province, something China vehemently denies. Senior Chinese diplomats practically walked out the meeting, prompting Yang Jiechi to accuse the U.S. of complete hypocrisy on human rights for its treatment of Black people. When Biden decided to boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics Jan. 18, it was another insult to Beijing, driving China into a military alliance with Russia.
Putin knows that Biden has supplied Ukraine $14 billion to fight a proxy war against the Russian Federation, knowing that the U.S. is now the one he’s fighting against. So when Russia says it’s on the verge of breaking off diplomatic relations with the U.S., it’s more than Biden’s boorish comments. When you remove the façade, Biden now fights the Russian Federation with Ukrainian proxies. Putin said he would not tolerate a U.S.-puppet regime on his border, especially with the U.S. and NATO supplying unlimited abouts of lethal weapons to Ukraine. Calling Biden’s remarks “unworthy of a statesman of such high rank,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry warned that it could break off diplomatic relations. Russia’s Foreign Ministry, led by 72-year-old Sergey Lavrov, said Russia would take “decisive and firm rebuff.” No other country has been issued such warning as the United States.
With Ukraine’s port city of Mariupol under siege, Ukraine officials said they would not surrender the city to Russian forces, knowing the strategic importance of the city. Biden talks like the war his being run from the White House, with the U.S. providing most the funding for the war. Biden believes that if Ukraine can hold on for more U.S. lethal weapons, they can defeat Putin, maybe toppling him from power. So, for the White House, the stakes could not be higher, essentially taking over the Ukraine War and the consequences of Ukraine’s fight against the Russian Federation. Putin knows that other NATO countries, including Germany, France and Poland are providing lethal weapons to Ukraine, but blame the U.S. for orchestrating the war through the White House. Ukraine officials announced it would not give up Mariupol without a fight to the death.
Whether the White House or Congress admits it or not, U.S. relations with Russia and China are an integral part of foreign policy. Biden has made relations next to impossible by insulting Russian and Chinese leaders, but, more importantly, now funding the Ukraine War with the intent of toppling Putin’s government. Ukraine’s 44-year-old Presidient Voldymyr Zelensky made it clear Ukraine would not cave into Putin’s demands to the end the conflict. Biden and Zelensky are joined at the hip ib their war against the Russian Federation. What started out as a war to demilitarize Ukraine, has nwt morphed into a U.S. proxy war seeking to deal Putin’s government a death blow by wearing down the Russian military. No other NATO country has endorsed Biden’s proxy war against Putin, knowing, at anytime, it could erupt into WW III on the European Continent.
