Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 44, continues to hammer away at the U.S. and NATO for not creating a no-fly-zone over Ukraine, after a Russian bomb hit a children’s hospital in Mariupol. ”The Russian occupying forces have dropped several bombs on the children’s hospital,” said Mariupol City Council in a statement. “The destruction is colossal,” appealing to the U.S. and West to reconsider setting up the no-fly-zone to prevent Russian fighter jets from decimating the country. “People, children, are under the wreckage,” Zelensky wrote. “Atrocity!” How much longer will the world be an accomplice ignoring terror,” begging the West to set up the no-fly-zone to stop the Russian onslaught. Zelensky mentions nothing about Putin’s March 9 offer to stop the war if certain conditions are met. Zelensky wants $10 billion in taxpayer cash to prosecute the war.

Zelensky has not taken Putin’s peace officer seriously, opting to continue the war regardless for the destruction and carnage. “Close the sky right now! Stop the killings!” Zelensky tweeted. “You have power but you seem to be losing humanity,” Zelensky said, knowing he’s been told that a no-fly-zone would start WW III. Zelensky has been told that a no-fly-zone could trigger a wider conflict on the European Continent, possibly triggering a nuclear war. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 59, said that he understood Zelensky’s desperation, watching the collateral damage, especially at a chldren’s hopspital. “If I were in President Zelensky’s position, I’m sure I would be asking or everything possible,” Blinken said. Why isn’t Blinken advising Zelensky to sit down with Putin and negotiate an end to the war? Whatever atrocities occur now, Zelensky has control over the outcome.

No one is forcing Zelensky to continue the war, something he’s doing voluntarily because he thinks the Ukrainian people should fight to every drop of blood. But if Zelensky has no control over Ukraine’s biggest cities and towns, why is he forcing the Ukrainian people to suffer unnecessarily? Puitin laid out very clear conditions for ending the conflict, including (1) recognizing Crimea as part of Russia,” (2) accepting the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk and (3) declaring Ukraine “neutral,” not part of the West. Zelensky’s had no control of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk for years, so he’s not really giving anything up. When Zelensky weights his options, he’s been given and off-ramp by Putin but decides to continue the war. Receiving $10 billioin in funds from the U.S., there’s no reason for Zelensky to end the war, regardless of the destruction and civilian carnage.

Zelensky’s plan includes receiving $10 billion in U.S. funds and to continue the war, now with the White House intent of driving Putin from power. Using every excuse under the sun, Zelensky has tried to get membership in NATO, told the World that if Ukraine fails, the West fails, and that he’s fighting to save democracy, all buzzwords that appeal to the West. “In Mariupol, for the first time in dozens of years, perhaps for the first time since the Nazi invasion, a child died of dehydration,” Zelensky said. “A child died of deyndration in 2022!” Blinken says he doesn’t blame Zelensky for pulling out all the stops to get help from the Western alliance. But Zelensky has been told that a no-fly-zone would start WW III, possibly nuclear war, what more does he need to know? Western officials need to remind Zelensky that there’s no holding him back from cutting a deal with Putin to end the conflict.

No one doubts that Zelensky is a war-time president but Biden act like he’s running the war through the White House. All of Zelensky’s strategy in fighting the conflict comes from the White House, that hasn’t told him to cut a deal with Moscow to end the conflict. World leaders must wonder why it looks like the war against Russia is run through the White House not Kiev. When the U.S. gives Ukraine $10 billion, there’s a good reason why it looks like Biden is leading the war effort. Growing concerns that the Kremlin will retaliate against the U.S. for its economic war against Russia. Biden agreed March 8 to ban all Russian oil imports, causing oil prices to spike globally. Planning to make up the lost oil with Venezuela or Saudi Arabia shows how the Biden White House is now desperate to recover lost oil. U.S. consumers are taking a beating at the pumps because of Biden’s energy policy.

If Ukraine finds itself in a desperate state battling the Russian Federation, Zelensky needs to consider options other than war. Whatever cash Kiev gets from Washington, it’s no excuse to not sit with Russian officials and work out a ceasefire deal. Looks like Zelensky has been told to keeping fighting regardless of the collateral damage by someone from across the Atlantic. Putin laid out clear conditions for ending the conflict and assuring Russian national security. Zelensky isn’t obligated to continue the war indefinitely until he’s told otherwise. When you consider that Zelensky’s conflict is with Russia, why is the U.S. directly involved, other that urging Ukraine to work out its problems with the Russian Federation? Because the White House seems to call the shots, it looks like Zelensky fights a proxy war with Ukrainian soldiers. Zelensky needs to work out his conflict with Putin.
