CNN’s 51-year-old popular primetime host Chris Cuomo got the ax from 56-year-old CNN CEO Jeff Zucker due to emails showing that he worked hard to discredit 64-year-old former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment accusers. Zucker, of course, the biggest broadcast executive turning his entire 24/7 cable news into a Democrat, anti-Trump platform, should have been fired himself for letting the Democrats Party run content on the so-called news network. Whatever happened to the old CNN< it’s a division of the Democrat Party, used for five years to attack 75-year-old President Donald Trump, all because Trump embarrassed the network winning the 2016 presidential race. CNN and the New York Times endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. When Trump won, CNN’s credibility—and ratings—went into a nosedive.
Cuomo earned his chops following Zucker’s vendetta against Trump, committing all his day and nighttime programming to ripping Trump on all the Democrat prescribed talking points. When it came to the Russian hoax, no cable network spent more time proving Trump was a Russia asset, all entirely bogus, based on Hillary’s paid opposition research against Trump AKA the Steele Dossier. Cuomo learned early on that if he wanted top ratings, he’d follow the Zucker formula to pit his entire cable news network against Trump. Cuomo rose through the CNN’s ranks to one of the cable networks most popular shows. Little did anyone know that the time that Cuomo didn’t care about fidelity to ethical journalism, only joining the anti-Trump mob to report what became known as “fake news.” Trump reminded his audience that CNN was “fake news,” especially its White House correspondent Jim Acosta..
Zucker should have been fired long ago to turning the nation’s first 24/7 cable news shows into a tabloid extension of the Democrat Party. Zucker spent CNN hard- earned reputation for disseminating factual news into a media wing of the Democrat Party. No one on the cable news network had any separation from the Democrat Party. Zucker justified his egregious political bias challenging the more conservative Fox News Network. While Fox News on-air talent got better ratings that CNN, it tolerated dissenting voices when it came to Trump. Only CNN and MSNBC competed for the king of ripping Trump, regardless of the truth. Trump often joked that what would happen to the Cable News ratings once he was gone. Well, now we found out, CNN and other cable new stations continue to use him for ratings. Watching Zucker fire Cuomo is cosmic hypocrisy.
Whatever Cuomo did to help his 64-year-old brother, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, pales in comparison to the egregious propaganda and disinformation, violating every know journalistic principle, watching Zucker turn CNN into a wing of the Democrat Party. When you think that CBS long-time prime time new anchor Dan Rather was fired June 20, 2006 for the most inconsequential connection to the Democrat Party, it’s shocking the degree of corruption from Zucker. Rather was fired for alleged ties to the campaign of former Secretary of State John Kerry, when he ran for president in 2004. Rather did nothing compared to Zucker open flirtation with the Democrat Party, turning CNN’s content into a Democrat Party propaganda machine. No one deserves to lose their job more the Zucker for trashing a once ethical, middle-of-the-road cable news network into a Democrat Party spin machine.
Zucker apparently changed Cuomo’s indefinite suspension to an outright firing, based on new salacious reports from Gloria Allred –light Atty. Deborah Katz, who now represents an anonymous accuser. Whether Zucker likes it or not, he’s exposed CNN to massive liability, especially crossing Cuomo’s efforts to help his brother with a new fake report about sexual harassment. Whatever happened with Cuomo is anyone’s guess. It’s possible the father the three let his impulses get the better of him. But whatever Katz’s accuser says, it’s not grounds for termination, anymore that helping his brother’s legal team discredit Andrew’s accusers. Both brothers find themselves unemployed at the same time. When it comes to Chris, Zucker had very little grounds to terminate one of his most popular prime time anchors. Zucker’s done far worse at CNN than anything done bu Chris Cuomo.
Don’t be surprised to see Chris Cuomo turn up at Fox News, the same way that former Fox News prime time host Megyn Kelly was fired in 2017, largely for criticizing Trump. Cuomo knows that Fox New has given Trump-hating Sunday news anchor Chris Wallace a stable home, despite spending the last five years ripping Trump. “This is not how I want my time at CNN to end,” Cuomo said in a statement. “But I have already told you why I helped my brother,” hinting that something much more, the sexual harassment claim, did him him. Cuomo also announced he’ll leave his SiruusXM statellite radio show, now that he no longer has a prime time CNN audience. Chris played victim that he did nothing wrong other than helping his brother get off the hook. When it came to the same hook, Cuomo couldn’t avoid the utter hypocrisy of CNN’s CEO, who’s violated every ethical journalistic rule.
