Former President Barack Obama, 60, threw in his two cents at the COP26 Glasgow, Scotland climate summit, becoming the second wave of nuclear salesman following 78-year-old President Joe Biden and his Energy Secretary 62-year-old Jennifer Granholm. Obama represents the nuclear power industry, talking all the nonsense of how climate change is destroying the planet, when he has a better, faster plan to end civilization pushing nuclear power plants to save the world for carbon dioxide emissions. Obama’s plan replaces carbon dioxide in what’s euphemistically known a net-zero with nuclear power plants, primarily built by Westinghouse, a company whose nuclear power plants have been dismantled or melted down a round the globe. Biden and Granholm touted “the gold standard” in new nuclear power plants, nothing like the ones the melted down in the past.
Obama spewed the same old platitudes to the Glasgow choir, all on the net-zero bandwagon, even if means poisoning the world with more nuclear waste, claiming things are different this time around. It wasn’t that long ago March 11, 2011 when Japan’s Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear plant melted down, poising everything in its path, including filling the Pacific Ocean and air with radioactivity. “Saving the planet isn’t a partisan issue,” Obama preached. “I welcome any faction within the Republican Party that take climate change seriously,” making a political mockery of the COP26 Climate Summit. Obama’s plan is to capitalize, like Biden and Granholm, on the nuclear power industry, standing to make billions—maybe trillions—in profits for pushing to replace coal and methane-fired power plants for the new breed of nuclear plants. World leaders, like the U.S. public, are easily duped by con artists like Obama.
Obama points out in Glasgow that, former Republican President George W. Bush, participated in the U.N.’s Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit that led to the U.N,’s Framework on Climate Change. Obama’s the first to point on melting polar icecaps, rising sea levels, fierce storms, drought, etc. but says nothing about the problems of disposing nuclear waste or dealing with the fallout from nuclear power plant meltdowns. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a Republican of Democrat, if your Florida house is flooded by rising seas, or your crops fail in the Dakotas, or your California house burning down,” Obama said. “Nature, physics, science do not care about party affiliation,” giving most sappy claptrap to COP26 attendees and the easily duped world press. Obama talks about “nature, physics, science,” when he was a mediocre student, knows little or nothing about them. Yet he pushes nuclear power as the answer.
When you consider the billions and trillions potentially made in nuclear power now that Biden administration passed its $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, it’s frightening to see Biden, Granholm and Obama now pushing nuclear power. German Chancellor Angela Merkel committed Germany in May 2011 to ending nuclear power in her country. She understands the dangers of nuclear power because, unlike Biden and Obama, she’s actually a trained scientist. “We don’t just need Democrats or Green Party or progressives working on this existential problem,” Obama said. “We need everybody, even if we disagree on other things,” the same claptrap that led the endless cycle of wars on planet Earth. Obama calls carbon emissions an “existential threat,” but not pushing nuclear power that currently accounts for 10% of the world’s.electricity production around the world.
When Merkel decided in 2011 to take Germany off nuclear, she understood the problem of nuclear waste, something that takes centuries to degrade. There’s no greater pollution to Mother Earth than nuclear power but it’s now being pushed at Glasgow by Wall Street’s surrogates like Biden, Granholm and Obama, all because they stand to make millions in commissions. Biden’s new infrastructure bill allocates some $500 billion to “climate change,” meaning they’ll direct billions to the nuclear power industry with the short-sighted and self-destructive scheme to replace coal and methane-fired power plants with new nuclear power plants. Obama gets applause when he talks about how former President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 Paris Climate Accords. Obama’s real purpose in Glasgow is retaliating against Trump but, more importantly, pushing for nuclear power to make millions.
Can you imagine the horror of 18-year-old Greta Thunberg, locked out of the COP26 Climate Summit, realizing that the fix now pushed for net-zero is a return to nuclear power? Greta, of course, wants to stop all trains, planes and automobilies and any other form of fossil fuel producing carbon-based pollution. If you followed Greta’s climate prescription, the world’s 7.753 billion population would be ravaged with famine and disease. If you follow Biden, Granholm and Obama’s prescription, the world would face a real existential threat from nuclear waste and potential radioactivity from eventual meltdowns of nuclear plants. Granholm insists that Westinghouse has the “gold standard” of the world’s new breed on nuclear power plants, selling the new Climate Change snake oil to the gullible crowd at Glasgow’s COP26 Climate Summit. Obama exposes his real climate change motives.
