Fauci didn’t like when Paul confronted him with lying to his committee. Paul told Fauci it’s a felony to lie under oath to Congress, prompting Fauci’s angry outburst. “Fauci, as you are aware, it is a crime to lie to Congress,” Paul said. “Sen. Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I would like to say officially, you don’t know what you are talking about,” completely denying that he ever funded “gain-of-function” research on harmless bat coronaviruses.
Fauci, whs heads NIH’s Allergy and Infectious Disease for 25 years, has given millions in research grants to New York-based nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance which gave at least $600,00 to Shi Zhenglis bioweapons’ lab at WIV. James Comer (R-Ky.), the NIH admitted that to “limited experiments” to tests if “spike protein from naturally occurring bat coronviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model,” read the NIH statement. Fauci clearly lied under oath to Paul when he gave the octogenarian a way out of his past false-and-misleading statements. Fauci told Paul’s committee he resented the implication that he funded research that could have resulted in the deaths over 5 million people worldwide.

Fauci’s dust-up with Paul showed the extent of his ager when confronted with facts about the origin of the deadly coronavirus outbreak that happened in Wuhan, China sometime in Oct. or Nov. 2019. Daszak was chief architect of a letter in Feb. 2020 to the British Medical Journal Lancet, insisting the deadly novel coronavirus occurred naturally in Wuhan, China. Only two days after WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom declared a global pandemic March 11, 2020, Chinese Foreign Minister Spokes Zhao Lijian gave a different explanation.
Fauci and Daszak insisted that the virus occurred naturally in Wuhan, China, disputing former President Donald Trump who said the virus was made in Zhengli’s lab in Wuhan, China. Calls for Fauci’s resignation are long over due for his role in funding “gain-of-function” experiments at the WIV that created the deadly pathogen. Scientists were warned on many occasions that “gain-of-function” research could start a deadly pandemic. Fauci knows that’s exactly what happened in Zhengli’s lab. China has slammed the door on coming clean, preventing the WHO from conducting an honest assessment on the origin of the virus. Yet Daszak was on the WHO research team that went to Wuhan and concluded earlier this year that the virus likely occurred naturally. Yet Daszak and Fauci mention nothing about Lijian’s public statements that the deadly novel cornavirus was made in Fort Detrick Maryland bioweapon’s lab and exported to Wuhan. Fauci’s government employer admits that it funded “gain-of-function” experiments in Zhengli’s WIV lab.
