After a hostile exchange July 20 in the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committed with 80-year-old NIH Chief of Allergy and Infectious Disease Dr. Anthony Fauci, 58-year-old Sen. Rand Paul decided to send a letter to the Justice Department for a criminal referral. Fauci denied yesterday ever funding “gain-of-function” research at the Wuhan Institute of Technology [WIV], the same statement he gave to the committee May 11. Paul gave Fauci a chance to change his testimony, pointing out the lying to Congress is a crime. Fauci went ballistic, telling Paul he didn’t know what he was talking about. “Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I would like to say that officially. You do not know what you are talking about,” Fauci said pointing two fingers at the Kentucky senator. Paul wanted Fauci to admit that that he funded “gain-of-function” research.
Paul has caught Fauci in bald-faced lie, denying the he ever funded research into bat coronaviruses that experimented with “gain-of-function” research. Fauci and the World Health Organization [WHO] have been in a life-or-death struggle to deny that the deadly novel coronavirus was created in WIV’s Shi Zhengli’s bioweapons lab. “You are implying that what we did resulted in the deaths of individuals,” Fauci screamed at Paul. “I totally resent that, and if anyone is lying here, senator, it is you,” Fauci told Paul, overreacting to Paul simply trying to get Fauci to admit that the NIH inadvertently funded “gain-of-function” research in Zhengli’s WIV lab. Fauci’s smart enough to understand the implications if the lab-leak theory is proved correct. If the NIH helped fund Zhengli’s “gain-of-function” research on bat-coronaviruses, then, yes, Fauci and others at the NIH have blood on their hands.
Denying that he funded “gain-of-function” research is Fauci’s way of denying that he had anything to do with creating the monster virus that escaped from Zhengli’s lab, infecting the Wuhan population, then the world with currently 192,714,654 cases and 4,140,478 deaths. Fauci’s statement about blood on his hands speaks volumes about the facts, something Paul wants to refer to the Justice. Department. With 68-year-old Democrat Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland heading the DOJ, Paul doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell to get a criminal complaint. Fauci’s clearly been lying from Day 1 about the virus occurring naturally in Wuhan, presenting not one shred of evidence to back it up. Yet Fauci’s smart enough to know the implications of funding Zhengli’s “gain-of-function” research. President Joe Biden’s Justice Department won’t prosecute the venerable octogenarian.
Fauci’s overreaction to Paul’s questions says, at the very least, that Paul hit a raw nerve about the NIH’s funding “gain-of-function” research in Zhengli’s bioweapons lab. What makes Zhengli’s a bioweapons lab was her collaboration with Peoples Liberation Army [PLA] Chief Virology Chen Wei. “We have scientists that will line up by the dozens to say that the research he was funding was gain-of-function. He’s doing this because he has a self-interest to cover his tracks and to cover his connection to the Wuhan lab . . . “ Paul said, refuting Fauci’s denial. Paul isn’t out to get Fauci, he’s trying to get to the bottom of the origin of the deadly novel coronavirus that now looks like it was engineered as a bioweapon in Shengli’s WIV lab. Univ. of N. Carolina, Chapel Hill, microbiologist Dr. Ralph Baric admitted to injecting bat-coronaviruses with Angiotensin II [ACE2], a powerful blood pressure medication.
Fauci knows about Dr. Ralph Baric’s work with Zhengli at he WIV lab, funded by 56-year-old EcoHealth Allinace Dr. Peter Daszak. Fauci funded Daszak $15.1 million, $3.4 was used to study bat-coronaviruses, including $600,000 that went directly to Zhengli’s lab. So when Fauci said Paul “does not know what he’s talking about,” he knows exactly the NIH’s funding to EcoHealth Alliance approved by Fauci. It’s no accident at Daszak was on the WHO’s WIV task force that visited Zhengli’s lab, concluding in a March 4 report that the lab-leak theory was the least likely to explain the origin of the deadly novel coronavirus. Yet Fauci never mentions Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Linjian who said May 26 that the novel coronavirus was made in Fort Dterick, Maryland’s bioweapons lab, then planted in Wuhan by the U.S. military back in Nov. or Dec. 2019.
Paul could tell that Fauci reacted with ferocity for an old man denying that he or the NIH had anything to do with creating the deadly novel coronavirus. Paul isn’t wiling to concede yet that the virus came from a WIV lab, but only wants Fauci to admit he funded Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance who funded WIV, including Zhengli’s bioweapons lab. Dr. Ralph Baric has nothing to gain admitting that he injected harmless bat-coronavirues with ACE2, changing the spike protein to infect humans. If that’s not “gain-of-function” research then what is? Fauci’s overreaction to Paul shows that the Kentucky Senator, who’s also an ophthalmologist, confronted Fauci about the facts. When Fauci’s caught red handed, he says he’s “taken out of context,” going further with Paul, telling the Senator, “You do not know what you are talking about.” Paul knows what he’s talking about but Fauci ran out of denials.
