President Donald Trump, 75, never got the satisfaction before the Nov. 8, 2020 election from the anticipated report from 73-year-old Special Counsel John Durham about the origins of the FBI counterintelligence investigation into the former president. Trump was hounded during his 2016 campaign and all four years of his presidency by an illegal FBI investigation based on former Secretary of State Hillary’s Rodham Clinton’s fake Steele dossier that said Trump was a Russian asset. Hillary hit Trump hard with her rubbish in the final debate in Las Vegas, Oct. 19, 2016, calling Trump a “Putin puppet. “ Voters apparently didn’t agree with Hillary losing the election against Trump Nov. 3, 2016. But as time went on, it became obvious that the FBI under orders from formers President Barack Obama illegally investigated Trump with the intent of helping Hillary win the 2016 presidential election.
Durham was tapped by 71-year-old Atty. Gen. Bill Barr to investigate 60-year-old former FBI Director James Comey’s illegal counterintelligence investigation of Trump, abusing the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to get warrants to wiretap Trump campaign officials. Durham already got one conviction from Justice Dept. Atty. Kevin Clinesmith for altering a document to the FISA court for former Trump foreign policy aid Carter Page. Clinesmith failed to reveal to the FISA Court that Page was a former CIA asset. If the court knew that, they would not have issued Comey the warrant to wiretap Page. “I’m still positive, and I guess I have to be, that people are going to go to jail, and they are going to be prosecuted for the Russian grand fiasco and the Russian hoax,” said Repl Devon Nunez (R-Calif.) Trump hoped Durham’s report would hurt President Joe Biden before the Nov. 8, 2020 election.
Durham’s report about the illegal conspiracy at the FBI never materialized, taking far more time than originally expected. Trump wanted not only Comey prosecuted for his illegal counterintelligence investigation by former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, former CIA Director John Brennan, former Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch, former Deputy Atty. Gen. Sally Yates, former National Security Adviser Susan Russia, all of whom worked clandestinely to prevent Trump from becoming president. Nunes acknowledged that Durham’s investigation has been going on longer than 75-year-old former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe. Mueller finished his investigation, delivering his final report March 23, 2019, clearing Trump or anyone on his campaign of colluding with the Kremlin. Yet Democrats, led by 62-year-old House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), insisted on Trump’s Russian involvement.
Nunez hoped that Durham could connect the dots of the active conspiracy to investigate Trump at the FBI, leading all the way up the chain of command to former President Barack Obama.. Nunez admitted that the Durham investigation “may not be as broad as we want it to be,” hoping for more indictments, yet not receiving one yet. Whether it seems obvious or not, Comey has not been charged by Durham, despite coordinating a conspiracy at the FBI to wreck Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Former Atty. Gen. Bill Barr was on he way out when appointed Durham Special Counsel.Dec. 1, 2020 only days before his resignation. Proving that former President Barack Obama orchestrated the counterintellignce investigation or Trump was never going to be easy. “It may not be as broad as we want it to be,” Nunes acknowledged, admitting it’s hard to get indictments.
Overwhelming evidence exists of an illegal FBI counterintelligence investigation of Trump, prompting Barr to say April 10, 2019 that the FBI spied on Trump and his campaign. Not one Democrat or the mainstream media cared that the Obama administration authorized the national security apparatus to be used against a major party nominee to prevent him from becoming president. Barr’s decision to put Durham in charge of the investigation was a bare minimum, fought tooth-and-nail by Democrats and the mainstream press. Political hacks like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) continued to fabricate evidence about Trump’s Russian contacts after Mueller cleared Trump and his campaign. No one cared, they only wanted Trump removed from office. “But look, there are some major perpetrators . . .” Nunes said, hoping for some 14 criminal complaints.
Democrats and the media continue to spin the Durham investigation as a partisan witch hunt, when, in fact, it’s just the opposite. When it comes to political witch hunts, no one is better than Democrats and the U.S. media, all on the same page, not aligned for the truth, but to get Trump out of office at the earliest possible time. Two impeachments couldn’t get Trump out of office because both impeachments lacked facts, were more wish fulfillment for Democrats and the media. Democrats and the press like to talk about the “big lie,” that the Nov. 8, 2020 vote was riddled with fraud. Not one Democrat or anyone in the press wants to talk of how universal mail-in ballots gave Democrats an unfair advantage, plus the fact that ballots were not authenticated. But no, to Democrats and press it’s all a “big lie” that there was anything at all wrong with the Nov. 8, 2020 presidential election.
