Admitting that the White House has engaged in some risky business with Rose Garden ceremonies and campaign rallies, 78-year-old Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) sees the handwriting on the walls when it comes to Nov. 3. While Mitch faces a tough fight with Democrat contender Amy McGrath, he knows the polls show a voter backlash for railroading Supreme Court Pick Amy Coney Barret before the election. Mitch’s colleague on the Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) also fa a tough fight with his challenger Jamie Harrision, knowing that pushing Barrett through could tip his seat to the Democrat. Both McConnell and Graham accept their fate, knowing the importance of getting another conservative voce in the Supreme Court. Getting Barrett on the court has nothing to do what happens on Nov. 3
McConnell and Graham have looked beyond the short horizon of Nov. 3 to the big picture that the Trump experiment is drawing to a close, with or without what happens in the U.S. Senate. It’s getting more likely that Democrats could take the Senate, in which case I’m not sure McConnell or Graham would want to stick around much longer to get their white privilege training. “Things are a changn’” I 2020 with the deadly coronavirus AKA SARS CoV-3 or Covid-19 global pandemic. Democrats and the media have brainwashed the public to think if they were in power things would be different. Yes, they’d be different but probably far worse. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) told Vice President Mike Pence at last night’s debate in Salt Lake City that Trump knew everything on Jan. 28. She cited former Washington Post journalist-tirned-Democrat-political hack Bob Woodward.
Trump’s campaign ultimately bears the responsibility for not challenging the fake Democrat narrative on Covid-19 that’s upended Trump’s bid for a second term. While there’s puncher’s chance of a October surprise bombshell, it hasn’t happened yet. So far, the real October surprise was Trump getting coronavirus, a fatal snake bite to a campaign collapsing under the unending media attacks. Running against the U.S. media is a tall order even for Trump whose changed Americans attitudes about the media forever. When the 2020 race is finally analyzed, it will show that the universally negative attacks by the American media has so brainwashed the public that Trump never really had a puncher’s chance. But the real loser is the First Amendment that doesn’t give the media the right to advance the Democrat agenda under its Free Speech mandate.
McConnell acknowledged that the White House took some risks in the middle of the worst infectious disease crisis since the 1918 Spanish Flu global pandemic that killed up to 100 million people, shows that he’s bracing for a hard landing on Nov. 3. Republicans are certain to loose the White House and probably the Senate, handing Biden and Harris the reigns to crash the U.S. economy, much like what happened in 2008. Biden and Harris have zero understanding of the economy. Biden’s plan to reverse the Trump tax cuts would likely crash the stock market, leaving the country in a deeper depression. Harris’ talk about ending fossil fuels sounds like 17-year-old Greta Thunberg, a naïve teenager who’s a poster-child for the climate change movement. Harris sounded over her head last night trying to sound coherent, when she clearly didn’t know what she was talking about.
McConnell and Graham’s decision to defy the polls and go full steam ahead with confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett signals that thing’s aren’t looking good for Republicans on Nov. 3. “I do think there have been risky behvaviors, but not in the Senate,” McConnell said, knowing how to conduct Senate business over Zoom Conferencing. “And this nomination is now in the Senate. We know how to handle this. We’ve been dealing with this since May and we’ll handle it successfully,” showing no signs of backing down to Democrat pressure. With Democrats poised to win the White House and possibly the Senate, they’ve conceded that they’re getting the White House. McConnell said if everyone followed CDC guidelines or just common sense there’d be less infections. McConnell’s admission about risky business shows that he’s not afraid to speak his mind.
Looking at the big picture, Trump had a shot of coming from behind and pulling off a second term up till he got infected with Covid-19. Whatever’s left of fence sitters in the 2020, they’ve seen enough watching the president and many of his inner circle get infected after hosting White House events and campaign rallies. Democrats doggedly stay on message that Trump has blown the Covid-19 crisis, now as evidence by his own infection. McConnell explained how Sen. Mike Lee (R-Ut.), Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and Sen Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) contracted Covid-19, spoke about the Sept. 2 6 Rose Garden reception for Amy Coney Barrett. Unless Biden hits the banana peel or Trump has a bombshell October surprise, the handwriting is on the wall. Trump has expended his nine lives and pulled all the rabbits from his hat, only a miracle can save him.
