Releasing more declassified documents in the probe into the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Trump’S 2016 presidential campaign, 65-year-old Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said more bombshells were on the way. Backers of 74-year-old President Donald Trump have been waiting patiently for indictments in the FBI’s conspiracy to wiretap the Trump campaign to help former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton win the 2016 election. While much has been exposed about Hillary’s paid opposition research AKA “the Steele Dossier,” Atty. Gen. William Barr and U.S. Atty. John Durham (R-Conn.) have waited before indicting former Obama administration officials for conducting an illegal wiretapping operation on Trump’s 2016 campaign. Trump calls former FBI Director James Comey’s spying operation “the crime of the century.”
Democrats and their friends in the press were all in on spying on the Trump campaign, agreeing with Comey that his counterintelligence investigation started by the late Sen. John McCain (R-Az.) was entirely justified. Yet all recent disclosures of declassified documents prove that Comey knew in 2017, before he was fired, that the Steele Dossier was hopelessly flawed, riddled with outright fabrications and possibly Russian disinformation. Graham recently released information about Steele’s “Sub-source 1,” on whom he relied for much of the dirt about Trump. Graham showed that Sub-source 1 admitted that much of the Steele Dossier was built of hearsay, innuendo and outright fabrications, noting reliable to go before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to seek warrants to wiretap Trump’s 2016 campaign. Sub-source 1 turned out to be a Russian spy.
Graham has been pushing the Justice Department and FBI to come clean with its best evidence on what went into its counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign. When Comey was fired by Trump May 9, 2017 for leaking to the press and his illegal counterintelligence investigation, former Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein was pressure by Democrats in Congress to appoint a Special Counsel to look into Trump’s alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 election. Rosenstein appointed 75-year-old former FBI Directory Robert Mueller Special Counsel to investigate Trump’s alleged role in conspiring with Russia. Comey knew, just as McCain, from Day One that the Steele Dossier was good for Hillary’s opposition research against Trump but nothing else. Both knew in July 2016 that the Dossier was not reliable probable cause to launch a legal counterintelligence investigation.
Democrats and press dismiss Graham’s hearings about the FBI’s illegal actions under Comey as Election Year politics. No one in the press or Democrat Party want to admit they all engaged in a conspiracy against Trump to remove him from office. Not one unverified, un-sourced or anonymously sourced story from the New York Times or Washington Post has been factual about Trump’s ties to Moscow. As the Times promoted its latest “bombshell” about Trump’s taxes, they inadvertently said Trump had no business dealings with Russia. That was the allegation explored in headline stories by the Times and Post for the last four years. We heard all the wild speculation and unfounded allegations from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schuff (D-Calif.) and House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), all accusing Trump of Russian collusion.
Finally, declassified documents prove everything that Trump said in 2016 through today have proved true, namely, that the Obama administration spied on his 2016 campaign. All the media could say over the last four years was prove it. “There’s a day of reckoning coming just stay tuned, and there’s more coming, there’s something else coming, more damning than this believe it or not,” said Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.). Graham sees more revelations in the near future, casting a dark cloud over the Obama Justice Department, FBI, CIA and National Security Agency, all of which coordinated to sabotage Trump’s 2016 campaign. Graham recently revealed that Igor Danshenko, a former Russian spy, was Christopher Steele’s primary Sub-source 1 for the wild allegations against Trump. What more shocking is the Comey used the Steele Dossier as probable cause.
When and if Barr announces more indictments in the Russian investigation, including former FBI Director James Comey, it’s going to shock a lot of people ordinarily siding with federal law enforcement. Comey’s imperious approach to running the FBI harked back to the days of J. Edgar Hoover, someone known for investigation his enemies for revenge. “I have also alerted the Director of National Intelligence to certain classifed information in the possession of the intelligence community, also brought to my attention by [U.S. Attorney John] Durham, which bear upon the FBI knowledge concerning the reliability of the dossier,” Graham said. Graham’s out to prove that Comey knew from Day One his probable cause to investigate the Trump campaign and go to the FISA court with permission to wire tap, was entirely bogus, utter rubbish. Yet nothing stopped Comey from duping the FISA Court.
