Using every bit of his billionaire clout, 64-year-old Microsoft founder-turned-political hack Bill Gates made some outrageous statements about the 74-year-old President Donald Trump’s decision early on in the coronavirus AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 global pandemic to ban flights from China Jan. 31. Gates counters Trump’s argument that banning flights from China early on saved potentially millions of lives, admittedly an imponderable, something Gates knows much about. His University of Washington-funded Center of Health Care Metrics made wildly inaccurate predictions, telling California Gavin Newsom in March that the state would be infected with 25.5 million residents or 55% of the 39 million population. Newsom followed Gates’ advice shutting down the States’s economy, vaporizing the $30 billion rainy day, driving the state into a $54 billion deficit.
Gates has caused so much damage with his fake projections that he has zero credibility, along with his UofW Health Care forecasting institute. Yet Gates is really good as a Monday morning quarterback, blaming Trump not for stopping infections by banning China’s flights to the U.S. but now saying he caused more infections. Nothing Gates says about the Covid-19 crisis at this point is divorced from the Nov. 3 election. Gates hasn’t been able to disguise his hatred of Trump, doing everything possible to sabotage his reelection bid. Gates contends that banning China flights boomeranged because they brought more infected travelers back to the U.S. know that a European travel bans was to follow. But any objective analysis knows that the U.S. and Europe were infected in Dec. and Jan. 2019 by hoards of Chinese tourists that traveled to the U.S. and Europe over the holidays.
No, Gates must join the Democrat chorus blaming Trump for everything but the kitchen sink. Surprising that Gates hasn’t yet opined on a replacement for the late Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) plan to introduce Ginsburg’s replacement this week. Gates and his Democrat friends have little way to stop Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) from holding confirmation hearings within the next few weeks. Gates insists that no one who returned from China and Europe in February were quarantined and contact traced. In case Gates forgot, the World Health Organization [WHO], whom Gates never criticizes didn’t declare a global pandemic for the coronavirus until March 11. Gates also doesn’t recall that WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom criticized Trump obliquely at a Feb. 5 Geneva press conference.
No, Gates is a Johnny-come-lately, preferring to use his 20/20 hindsight as to what to do to mitigate the Covid-19 outbreak. “We create this rush, and we didn’t have the ability to test or quarantine those people,” Gates told Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.” It’s no accident that Trump enemy Chris Wallace has another like-minded Trump enemy Bill Gates to preach to the choir. Gates is fooling himself and Wallace not realizing that no one, including 77-year-old former Vice President and Democrat nominee Joe Biden, thought there was any problem in the Feb. Biden agreed with Tedros calling Trump “xenophobic” for banning Chinese flights. Tedros insisted Jan. 14 that there was no “human-to-human” transmission of the coronavirus, spewing 67-year-old Chinese President Xi Jinping’s propaganda about what was really happening in Wuhan, the virus epicenter.
Gates could not speak to a more perfect a newsman like Wallace, who agrees that Democrats and Republicans must join together to defeat Trump. When you consider Gates’ rotten predictions coming from his “scientific” Center for Health Care Metrics, he has a lot of nerve spewing more wild speculation about what would have happened had Trump not banned flights from China and Europe. Gates has a vested interest in Abbott Laboratories Polymer Chain Reactions [PCR] saliva testing equipment. Gates contends that only through massive testing can the U.S. or world get control over the Covid-19 crisis, even though case numbers, hospitalizations and deaths have been dropping. Gates’ conjecture that banning early flight returned infected travelers to the U.S. is preposterous. If Trump didn’t halt flights from China and Europe, few people think that things would have gotten better.
Gates likes to blame Trump for cornaviurs cases and deaths because he’s become a Democrat or at least anti-Trump political hack. Gates has been wrong on all his “scientific” forecasts coming from his computer modeling at the UofW Center for Health Care Statistics. Gates thinks Trump should have shut down the U.S. economy for a longer period of time, regardless of the catastrophic consequences to Wall Street, the economy, and, most importantly, American workers. Gates hasn’t been listening to 58-year-old American Airlines CEO Doug Partker who said that if he doesn’t get hundreds-of-millions of dollars in taxpayer bailouts, he’ll be forced to layoff or furlough 25,000 workers. If Trump listened to Gates, now worth $116.1 billion, the economy would lapse into another Great Depression. Gates claims he’s giving away much of his fortune only to watch it grow by leaps-and-bounds.
