Accused of taking information from a Russian spy, 76-year-old former New York Mayor and Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani was confronted about not knowing that Ukrainian parliament member Andrii Derkach works for Russian intelligence. Former Vice President and Democrat nominee 77-year-old Joe Biden has been accused of corruption while leading 59-year-old President Barack Obama’s anti-corruption task force in Ukraine. President Donald Trump, 74, accused Biden of landing his 50-year-old son Hunter a job on the board of corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings. Hunter worked at Burisma from 2015 to 2019, making millions, $83,000 a month in an area in which he had no experience. Hunter admitted Oct. 15, 2019 on ABC;s “Good Morning America” that it was probably a bad idea from him to have taken the Burisma Holdings job.
Whether or not Derkach worked-or-works for Russian intelligence has not bearing on what happened with Joe and Hunter Biden. Trump was impeached for a July 25, 2019 conversation with 41-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, asking if he had any information on Joe or Hunter. What happened with Joe and Hunter has nothing to do with whether or no Derkach worked-or-works for Russian intelligence. “You’re a former prosecutor from the Southern District of New York, a former May of New York City, you have a national security firm,” said 53-year-old journalist Jonathan Capehart. Capehart works for MSNBC and the Washington Post, two of the most anti-Trump, biased, Democrat-friendly media outlets in the U.S. Capehart works in overdrive, as are many other Democrat operatives, to find any way to discredit Biden’s Ukraine corruption before the first presidential debate Sept. 29.
Democrats narrative about Hunter’s $83,000 a month job on Burisma Holdings Board, varies depending on the day from “he broke no laws,” “did nothing illegal,” “it’s Russian disinformation,” “nothing improper too place,” and, now, with Derkach, it’s “pure Russian disinformation.” “Facts are stubborn things,” said John Quincy Adams, 6th president of the United States. Whatever the anti-Trump press says about Giuliani or his contact with Andrii Derkach, the fact remains the Joe used his position as VP to land Hunter a lucrative job. Hunter was asked in that same ABC interview Oct. 15, 2029, whether he would have gotten the job on Burisma Holding’s board without his father. Hunter replied, “probably not.” So, when you look at the facts in evidence, it all points to undeniable corruption by Joe, using his office to advantage his relative, in this case his 50-year-old son Hunter.
Capehart’s job interviewing Rudy was to discredit the Biden’s corruption story before the first presidential debate Sept. 29. “How could you not know that this person you were talking to was a known Russian agent?” asked Capehart, as if that exonerates Joe. Whether Derkach worked for the KGB or IBM has nothing to do with what happened with Hunter’s job in Ukraine. Whether or not the Treasury Dept. identified Derkach as an active Russian agent, has nothing to do with what Biden did for Hunter in Ukraine. Democrats are desperate to discredit Biden’s Ukranie corruption before the first presidential debate. “Andrii Dekach and other Russian agents employ manipulation and deceit to attempt to influence elections in the United States and elsewhere around the world,” said Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin. When 17 U.S. intel agencies said Oct. 21, 2016 that Russian meddled in the 2016 election, there was no proof.
Meddling in an election or, as Mnuchin says, using “manipulation and deceit,” doesn’t mean that Russia or any other country influenced or changed one vote. It’s pure speculation saying the posting fake news on Google or Facebook has any effect on voters. “Bad people give you information,” Giuliani admitted, not saying whether or not the information is valid. When you consider the alleged Russian hacks in the 2016 presidential election, the information given to the public via WikiLeaks was factual, including that the Democratic National Committee’s [DNC] former Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Fl.) helped former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton sabotage Sen. Bernie Sander’s 2016 campaign. WikiLeaks showed that Interim DNC Chairwoman Donna Brazile gave Hillary debate questions in advance. So, just because the information came from a Russian source doesn’t mean its fake.
When U.S. intel agencies point fingers at Russian disinformation, they ignore or gloss over the major source of disinformation in America: The U.S. press. No institution generates more fake news, accusing Trump for nearly four years of being a Russian asset. Hillary started the narrative with her paid opposition research AKA “the Steele Dossier,” a compilation of Russian disinformation and outright fabrications by Christopher Steele to discredit Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Hillary’s disinformation was so compelling it was used by former FBI Director James Comey to order wiretaps from the Federal Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] court, even though the evidence was all bogus. Now Democrats want to discredit factual reports that Joe Biden landed his son Hunter an $83,000 a month job on corrupt Burisma Holdings board. What does Russian disinformation have to do with that?
