Speaking to ABC News, 70-year-old Atty. Gen. William Barr tried to explain why Trump used the word “treason” to describe former Obama administration officials that wiretapped his campaign to verify wild allegations by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that 74-year-old President Donald Trump was a Russian agent. Democrats and members of the broadcast and print media spent nearly four years accusing Trump of Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election. Democrats were so convinced that Trump ordered the hacking to the Democrat National Committee [DNC] servers or email of former Hillary Campaign Chairman John D. Podesta, 60-year-oold House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) stuck his reputation on it. At the end of the day, Schiff had no facts only wild conjecture amounting to defamation and character assassination.
ABC News finds itself nitpicking over Trump’s use of the term “treason” to characterize former Obama administration officials that spied on his campaign. It’s inconceivable to ABC News that anything nefarious happened at the FBI under 60-year-old former FBI Director James Comey. ABC News criticized Trump for using the word treason to explain an FBI conspiracy. Former President Barack Obama and Former President Joe Biden knew that Comey launched a counterintellgence investigation into Trump’s campaign based on Hillary’s paid opposition research AKA “the Steele Dossier.” While they knew Hillary dossier was bogus, they used it anyway to wiretap Trump campaign officials or eavesdrop on 62-year-old former National Security Director Michael Flynn. Obama and Bdien called an Oval Office meeting Jan. 5, 2017 to discuss setting Flynn up in a perjury trap.
Fixated on Trump’s use of “treason,” ABC News hopes to divert attention away from Comey’s illegal counterintelligence investigation, all predicated on Hillary’s fake dossier. “Treason is a legal term,” Barr told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “I think he’s using it colloquially. To commit reason, you actually have to have a state of war with a foreign enemy, but I think he feels that they were involved in an injustice, and if he feels that, he can say it,” Barr told Blitzer. CNN and Blitzer’s the last media outlet to admit they treated Trump unfairly for years reporting nightly Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia. Trump came to the conclusion that the Obama White House used the national security apparatus of the country to wiretap his campaign to help Hillary get elected in 2016. When it all backfired on Election Day, Democrats and the press doubled down vowing to remove Trump from office.
ABC New and CNN routinely interview folks that slam Barr as a Trump client, questioning his professional integrity because they don’t want to accept any responsibility for illegally investigating Trump. But beyond that, you’re looking at a broadcast and print media that spent years engaged in the most vicious propaganda against Trump. How many fake articles about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin came out the New York Times and Washington Post? How many CNN and MSNBC hosts spewed nightly lies about Trump’s ties to Russia? Yet no one at CNN, MSNBC or major print outlets wants the truth. They want only one thing: To get Trump out of office at the earliest possible time. When Pelosi & Co.’s impeachment failed Feb. 5, Democrats moved on to smearing Trump in any way possible, now insisting he’ll stay in office if he loses the election.
Trump has been watching Barr’s investigation into the origin of FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, alleging Trump had Kremlin ties. Barr and his colleague U.S. Atty. John Durham (R-Conn.) hope to get to the bottom of Crossfire Hurricane sometime soon. “We caught President Obama and Sleepy Joe spying on our campaign. That’s treason. That’s illegal,” Trump told a crowed in Arizona last month. “These people should take them and do something with them,” referring to Barr’s team charging Obama and his White House staff for illegally investigating Trump’s campaign. ABC News, CNN and MSNBC and most print outlets believe Comey’s counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign was legal. But how could it be legal if Comey used Hillary’s fake opposition research, something that recently declassified docs show the FBI discredited?
Trump’s enemies in the press don’t acknowledge that Comey used Hillary’s dossier to justify a counterintelligence investigation into Trump’s campaign. Anti-Trump media sources like to excuse Comey by citing Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s Dec. 19, 2019 report saying he could find no conspiracy at the FBI. Horowitz didn’t really look for a conspiracy involving Comey, members of the FBI, the CIA under 64-year-old former CIA Director John Brennan and 79-year-old former director of National Intelligence James Clapper, all insisted that Trump conspired with Russian to win the 2016 presidential election. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out they were all involved in exploiting the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to spy on Trump’s campaign. No one in the press wants a definition or spying or
legitimate counterintelligence.
