With its Election Year strategy to create as much chaos as possible, Democrats and the U.S. media have succeeded in spreading doom-and-gloom around the country. Highlighting the coronvirus AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 crisis, racial unrest from the May 25 death of George Floyd and consequences to the U.S. economy, the media has hammered down 74-year-old President Donald Trump’s approval ratings, making his reelection bid more in doubt than ever. Keeping a coherent anti-Trump strategy the media has also spurred anti-U.S. violence around the country, with protesters feeling emboldened to desecrate coveted monuments from U.S. history. Gallup’s July 4th poll showed the effect on the media’s avalanche of bad publicity against Trump. Some 22% of Democrats fell “very proud” to be American, while 76% of Republicans feel the same way, a disturbing development.
What the Gallup poll shows it that a determined PR offensive by the Democrat Party through 95% of U.S. media outlets has brainwashed Democrats into believing the country suffers from “systemic racism,” but, more importantly, entitling protesters to destroy historic monuments, taking the law into their hands with violent protests. “We should listen to the argument for removing George Washington statues,” 52-year-old Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) said, showing the kind of messaging that’s led to vandalism of historic monuments around the country. Black Lives Matter [BLM], the group organizing protests around the country, thinks that any connection with slavery automatically disqualifies any past U.S. historic figures, even though it was commonplace in Colonial times. Slavery was actually not started by the U.S. but by British business interests.
Duckworth is one among many Democrats, including former Vice President and presumptive nominee Joe Biden (D-Del.), whose narrative supports nationwide protests demanding an end to police brutality and nationwide focus on racial injustice. When Trump delivered his July 3 speech at Mt. Rushmore, it focused largely on preserving U.S. history, sitting below granite monuments to Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. Trump promised to preserve the rich history of America’s founding fathers and iconic presidents who gave their lives to the preserve the Republic. Yet Duckwork, speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union,” said that removing statues of George Washington should be open for discussion in a post-George Floyd era. Duckworth is on Biden’s short-list for his VP running mate consideration.
CNN and other media outlets have sent an unmistakable message to protesters that it’s OK to desecrate U.S. historical monuments if they feel offended by the historic figures. With today’s twisted definition of racism, namely, anything-and-everything done by white people, everyone in U.S. history is viewed as complicit in promoting white supremacy. Duckworth and other Democrats have used the media during an Election Year to promote that belief that Trump is a racist and white supremacist. Duckworth practically called Trump’s Mt. Rushmore speech a clarion call to white supremacists around the country to band together to support his reelection. Gallup pointed out that Democrat messaging runs through the media has painted a bleak picture for blacks and other minorities that it’s OK to tear down historic, statues and monuments as long as they represent racism.
Calling George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt racist perverts U.S. history, but, more importantly, the definition of racism. Today’s definition, borrowed contemporary authors like Robin DiAngelo or Ibram X Kendi define racism as anything not black. To DiAngelo and Kendi all whites are racists by definition because they’re not black. “He should be talking about what we’re going to do to overcome this pandemic?” Duckworth said, referring the pandemic of “systemic racism.” “What are we going to do to push Russian back?” “Instead he [Trump] had no time for that. He spent all his time talking about dead traitors,” Duckworth said, referring to iconic American presidents as traitors. What kind of messaging does that send to protesters? Duckworth and the press send the message to protesters that your government in Washington is racist.
Today’s racial protests triggered by George Floyd’s death speak volumes about class warfare, not about racism. When you look at highly successful black athletes, entertainers or other professionals, they’re not advocating erasing U.S. history, calling white politicians white supremacists or calling the country that elected former President Barack Obama twice “systemically racist.” “I think we should listen to the argument there, but remember that the president at Mount Rushmore was standing on ground that was stolen from Native Americans who had actually been give that land during a treaty,” Duckworth said. Jumping from blacks to Native Americans, Duckworth makes the argument of the evil white man, the exact excuse for riots, looting, arson and anarchy to revolt against U.S. society. In their quest to get rid of Trump, Duckworth and other Democrats have given protesters a license to rebel.
