Reacting May 8 to the Department of Justice dismissal of 61-year-old Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s perjury case, 58-year-old former President Barack Obama warned of great harm to the nation’s criminal justice system. “There is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free,” Obama said. Forget about the rampant abuse in Obama’s Justice Department, FBI, National Security Agency [NSA] and CIA related to Flynn’s prosecution. Whatever vendetta Obama had with Flynn, it’s astonishing he would raise the “no precedent” issue for Atty. Gen. William Barr cleaning house at what looks like the most corrupt DOJ, FBI and CIA in U.S. history. Obama surely knows that the case against Flynn was set up when his 55-year-old former National Security Adviser Susan Rice “unasked” Flynn’s conversation with former Russian Amb. Sergey Kislyack.
Obama pretends he had nothing to do with the DOJ, FBI, CIA and NSA’s illegal counterintelligence investigation into the 73-year-old President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. When Trump Tweeted Sept. 22, 2017 that Obama “tapped his wires,” Democrats and the media went wild. “Show us proof” demanded Democrats and the press, when they were covering up what’s now known as FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane,” a covert investigation into Trump’s alleged Russian ties launched by former FBI Director James Comey. Yet Obama said Barr’s move to dismiss Flynn’s charges threatens the rule of law. Yet what Obama did using the U.S. national security apparatus to spy on the Republican Party’s nominee didn’t threaten the U.S. criminal justice system, it violated the Constitution and broke sweeping criminal laws. No, Obama’s concerned about Barr’s dismissal of Flynn’s case.
Flynn was set up by Comey to entrap him at the White House, armed with secretly recorded phone calls with Flynn and Kislyak “unmasked” by Rice. “That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic—not just institutional norms—but our basic understanding of the rule of law is at risk,” Obama said. Obama isn’t one to talk about dangerous precedents when he authorized investigating Trump for the purpose of sabotaging his campaign and helping 72-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton get elected. Of course it all backfired. But Obama coming out condemning Barr hopes to spur more fake news to cover up his role in illegally using the national security apparatus to spy on Trump’s campaign. Obama knows that Barr and his 70-year-old appointed investigator U.S. Atty. John Durham (R-Conn.) are collecting evidence on the FBI and DOJ’s illegal probe of Trump.
Obama knows that Barr and Durham are looking carefully at his role in Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Trump’s 2016 campaign. “And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly, as we’ve seen in other place,” Obama said, referring to Barr dismissing Flynn’s case. Obama wanted Flynn removed as National Security Adviser because it was a matter of time before Flynn implicated Obama in an illegal spying operation against Trump. “So I am hoping that all of you feel the same sense of urgency that I do,” Obama told former members of his Cabinet. “When ever I campaign, I’ve always said, “Ah, this is the most important election.’ Especially obviously when I was on the ballot, that always feels like it’s the most important election.” Obama seemed like he was giving his former Cabinet talking points to go to the press.
Barr and Durham are going up the chain of command from the DOJ, FBI, CIA NSA, and the White House to determine who authorized Crossfire Hurricane or Crossfire Razor, the secret mission to entrap Flynn. Based on what’s in the record already, Rice “unmasked” Flynn’s calls with Kislyack. Comey obtained warrants from the FISA Court to wiretap Trump campaign officials using Hillary’s “Steele Dossier,” assembled by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele for the Democrat National Committee to undermine Trump’s campaign. Hillary gave the late Sen. John McCain (R-Az.) the dossier, one of Trump’s biggest critics, who, in turn, gave it to Comey in July 2016. Comey proceeded to dupe the FISA Court into giving him warrants to wiretap Trump campaign officials for the purpose of validating the Steele Dossier that was utter rubbish, something Comey knew but used it anyway.
Obama’s statements about the “rule of law” are especially egregious considering he authorized his DOJ, FBI, CIA and NSA to investigate Hillary’s political opponent to help her get elected. Now he tells he former Cabinet to go to the press and complain about Flynn’s dismissal. Obama knows how Flynn was set up by the FBI, without real “probable cause.” They knew he was a decorated U.S. war hero and not a Russian spy. When Comey got the ax by Trump May 9, 2017 for leaking endless Russian hoax stories to the press and conducting his illegal spying operation, the DOJ feared it would be exposed for corruption. Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein appointed 75-year-old Robert Mueller to cover things up. Mueller took his time but eventually cleared Trump of ties with Russia. With Barr and Durham on the case, it’s only a matter of time before the massive corruption is exposed.
