Exploited by the Democrat Party and mainstream press as a foil against 73-year-old President Donald Trump, 80-year-old National Institutes of Health [NIH] chief of Infections Disease and Allergy Dr. Anthony Fauci finds himself caught in the middle of an escalating political campaign. When CNN host Jake Tapper interviewed Fauci April 12, he set up him up with hypothetical questions about whether lives could have been saved by starting “shelter in place” orders sooner. Fauci told Tapper that theoretically that’s possible, which has now been used by CNN and other anti-Trump media to prove that Trump caused more deaths. Fauci figured out what Tapper did with the interview and corrected the record April 13 at the daily briefing. CBS Paul Reid asked Fauci if he was forced to retract what he told Tapper. Fauci said, “everything I do is voluntary,” refuting what he told Tapper.
Fauci clarified that Trump wasn’t slow to respond to the evolving coronaviurs AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 crisis, responding to his medical requests for policy changes in a timely manner. That’s when Reid insulted Fauci, accusing him of acquiescing to Trump’s demands. Fauci vigorously disputed Reid’s allegation that he’s muzzled by Trump. Most disturbing of all is that Democrats and their friends in the press can’t stop playing politics, hoping to score points against Trump heading into the 2020 presidential election. Just like Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s alleged Russian ties or his recent impeachment proceedings and trial, everything’s designed to hurt Trump’s approval ratings before the election. Unfortunately for Democrats and press, Trump came through the Mueller investigation and impeachment with higher approval ratings.
Now Democrats and the press have done their best to discredit Trump’s work to manage the coronavurs epidemic. Reid shows the extent of the fake news attempts to discredit Trump, when Fauci openly admitted Trump’s done everything he’s asked him to do. When Mueller delivered his Final Report March 23, 2019 clearing Trump or his campaign of conspiring with Russia, the media turned on Mueller. Democrats and the press touted Mueller’s investigation for two years, certain it would find impeachable offenses. When that didn’t happen, Democrats like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), tried to find anything in the Mueller Report impeachable. When they found nothing, they found a “whistleblower” complaint, that’s never been verified by anyone. Some think Schiff participated in writing the “whistleblower’s complaint.
Now the discussion turns to opening up the country for business, which Democrats are already accusing Trump to going against medical advice. “We have to have something in place that is efficient and that we can rely on, and we’re not there yet,” Fauci said, referring to a plan to reopen the country to business. Calling Trump’s May 1 timetable “a bit overly optimistic,” Fauci did not rule out open up parts of the country that seem less impacted by the corona virus. Ending strict social distancing, Fauci thinks it would have to be on a “rolling” basis, where certain parts of the country get opened where there’s less risk of the virus spreading. “I’ll guarantee you, once you star pulling back there will be infections. It’s how you deal with the infections that’s going to count,” Fauci said. Fauci thinks it can be handled by quarantining people testing positive for the virus until they’re safe.
Fauci has complained lately about staying during the entire duration during the briefings. Trump’s Monday briefing lasted two-and-a-half hours, prompting Fauci to say it’s “exhausting.” “If I had been able to just make a few comments and then go to work, that would have really been much better,” Fauci said. Every time Trump gives Fauci a break, the media circulates rumors that Trump fired him. Democrats and the media did the same thing with Mueller for his two years investigating Trump’s alleged ties to Russia. Whether it’s Mueller or now Fauci, Democrats and the media find a way to pit their chosen ones against Trump. Now that Fauci’s verified that Trump’s done everything possible to combat the coronavirus epidemic, Democrats and media will find a new foil. Once the country starts to open up, the media will be focused on the next wave of the coronvirus outbreak,
Fauci told the media that there’s no certainty at all that there’s going to be a second wave to the SARS CoV-2 epidemic. While it’s possible, there’s no guarantee that it will happen again. Most viral outbreaks don’t repeat themselves anytime soon. Fauci dismissed the possibility of reliable antibody testing, individuals who had the virus but now have the immunity needed to ward it off. Fauci knows as an infectious disease doctor that the government can’t order the society shut down indefinitely, even though it would reduce the spread of infectious disease. Doctors like Fauci don’t like getting dragged into the political muck, something the media thrives on. Tapper’s attempt to exploit Fauci backfired, causing more harm to the Democrat and media agenda of discrediting Trump before the election. Fauci said whatever happens, the country’s better prepared for another infectious disease crisis.
