Giving her two cents on the March 22 Mueller Report, 71-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton joined other Democrats demanding that Atty. Gen. William Barr release the full, unredacted version to Congress and the public. That’s the same Hillary that sought 100% privacy over the FBI’s decision to not charge her with violation the Espionage Act for using an unsecured home server while Secretary of State. Clinton insists that the release of the unedited Mueller Report, knowing, as a former government lawyer, that Barr is forbidden by Justice Department policy from releasing grand jury testimony and evidence. Demanding the full, unredacted version, Hillary cites the Watergate era when Nixon fired Independent Counsel Archibald Cox Oct. 27, 1973 in what was known as the Saturday Night Massacre. Hillary forgets that Trump never fired Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
Mueller delivered his long-awaited report March 22 on a two-year investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and Trump’s alleged collusion with Moscow. Unlike Cox who was fired by Nixon, Trump let Mueller do his job until he gave the report to the Attorney General March 22, Hillary’s grandstanding continues a new Democrat narrative that Barr is covering something up. Barr released his “bottom line” four-page summary, saying that Trump or his inner circle would not be charged for Russian collusion or obstruction of justice. Hillary knows there’s zero grounds to compare Watergate with Mueller’s Russian investigation, since the Special Counsel concluded no Russian collusion no obstruction of justice. Hillary was the one that accused Trump Oct. 19, 2016 in a CNN presidential debate in Las Vegas of being a “Putin puppet,” raising the Russian collusion theory.
Spreading the latest propaganda is the best way in which Democrats can ignore Mueller’s findings and suggest a cover up by Barr and the White House. “We deserved to see the Muller report, and if there is material that, for whatever reason, should not be shared publicly, it should be shared with Congress,” Hillary told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria April 12 at Women in the World 10th Anniversary Summit in New York City. Hillary knows that Mueller’s report under the Special Counsel Law is the last word on the investigation into alleged Russian collusion and obstruction of justice. When Mueller concluded March 22 that Trump and his inner circle would not face charges, it upended the Democrat strategy heading into the 2020 presidential election. Democrats placed all their faith in Mueller’s investigation, hoping it would provide legal grounds for impeachment.
When you consider Hillary’s opposition research AKA “the dossier” was at the heart of Muller’s two-year investigation, it ‘s outrageous that Hillary’s questioning the Mueller Report now that it exonerates Trump. ‘One of the things I did as a very young lawyer was work on the impeachment staff of the House Judiciary Committee in 1974, investigating Richard Nixon.” Well at the time, there was no Independent Counsel looking into criminal wrongdoing for a real burglary authorized by Nixon of the Democratic National Committee at the Watergate Hotel. Hillary’s conflating the work on a House Committee with the work done back in 1974 by the Independent Counsel. Hillary knows the purpose of the Special Counsel was to examine in the greatest nonpartisan way possible criminal wrongdoing by Trump and his campaign. Mueller found no crimes for Russian collusion or obstruction of justice.
Democrats want to pressure Barr into full disclosure of the Mueller report to hand Democrats a partisan witch hunt to cherry pick Mueller’s report to continue to harass the president. Hillary wants, like other Democrats on Capitol Hill, to place Trump into double Jeopardy, acquitting him on the Mueller Report, then, cherry picking the findings to accuse Trump of wrongdoing. Hillary insists the Mueller Report is “not sufficient to establish the president committed and obstruction of justice offence.” No, when Hillary physically destroyed 13 cell phones in 2016 containing text messages and emails, then paid computer experts to purge her hard drive of 33,000 government emails, that was the definition of obstruction of justice. Barr already said in his four-page summary of the Mueller Report that there was insufficient criminal evidence on obstruction to charge Trump with a crime.
Hillary’s back in the news on CNN to advance the next conspiracy theory to the public before the 2020 presidential race, that the Mueller Report actually contains impeachable offenses against Trump if you look hard enough. Forget about Mueller ‘s team of 23 experienced prosecutors that concluded there was insufficient evidence to charge Trump or his inner circle with a crime. Hillary wants partisan Democrats to decide whether Trump broke the law or committed moral or ethical breaches worthy of impeachment. Republicans led by former House Intelligence Committee Co-Chairman Rep. Devin Nunez (R-Calif.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) want to charge members of former President Barack Obama’s Justice Department, FBI and National Security Agency with committing crimes to investigate the Trump campaign. Hillary can’t accept Mueller’s Report because it exonerates Trump.
