Confirming 53-year-old former D.C. Circuit Court Judge Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court [50-48-1], Democrats lost their bid to derail 72-year-old President Donald Trump’s nominee. Democrats vowed to fight-to-the-end Kavanaugh’s nomination as payback for Republicans preventing D.C. Circuit Court Judge Merrick Garland from getting a vote during the 2016 election year. Democrats pulled out all the stops, with ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) releasing a secret letter from Dr. Christine Blasey-Ford only six days before the vote accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault 36-years-ago, when he was 17-years-of age. Blasey-Ford’s allegation triggered the #MeToo movement, drawing thousands of abuse survivors around the country defending Blasey-Ford, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick from unverified allegations of sex abuse.

When Blasey-Ford testified before the Judiciary Committee Sept. 27, Democrats showed 100% backing of Blasey-Ford’s charges without any proof, looking for anyway possible to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination. It didn’t matter to Democrats whether or not the charges were factual, only that they served to undermine Kavanaugh. Joining forces with the #MeToo movement, the press 100% backed Blasey-Ford’s allegations without any proof, also looking to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination. Now liberal groups insist that the Republican Party rejects the #MeToo movement, attempting to reverse unreported sex abuse around the country. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), a key senate swing vote on Kavanaugh, gave the Senate an exhaustive explanation why she supported him, setting up today’s confirmation. Liberal groups have now targeted Collins for her 2020 reelection bid.

Collins explained on the Senate floor that there was no corroborating evidence supporting Blasey-Ford’s claim that at least four of her friends were at the 1982 party where she claims Kavanaugh molested her. Not one of Blasey-Ford’s witnesses named could remember the house party in suburban Maryland, including her life-long friend Leyland Keiser. Despite the lack of eyewitness corroboration, 100% of Democrats, the media and #MeToo movement were convinced Blasey-Ford told the truth. Yet, no one in the Judiciary Committee or anywhere else discussed the very real possibility that Blasey-Ford suffers from false memory syndrome, something well-documented in trauma survivors. When you ask how Democrats, the media and #MeToo movement were willing to toss out the Constitution’s guarantee of due process or the presumption of innocence, it boils down pure politics.

Now Democrats, the media and #MeToo movement accuse Republicans of abandoning the women’s movement, all to get more votes in the Nov. 6 Midterm elections. Yet recent polling shows Republicans getting a bounce, raising doubts about Democrats’ hopes for a “blue wave,” turning the House and Senate to Democrats. Democrats and the media don’t mention anything about former President Barack Obama losing the House and Senate in the 2010 Midterm elections. Listening to liberal pundits you’d think that the Nov. 6 election is a referendum on Trump. All indications point to Republicans retaining the Senate and possibly the House, blowing the theory that the country’s fed up with Trump presidency. Trump received a boatload of criticism for calling into question Blasey-Ford’s testimony, saying she couldn’t recall key parts of her story, including how she got or returned from the party.

Whatever’s wrong with sexism in America, it wasn’t appropriate for the media and #MeToo movement to try-and-convict Kavanaugh without evidence. Just because Blasey-Ford says she “recalls” Kavanaugh’s sexual assault, doesn’t mean it happened. Collins made clear it violates American jurisprudence to try-and-convict someone without evidence. With Democrats and the media so willing to accept Blasey-Ford’s charges without proof, it shows the extreme political nature to the charges. Collins expressed outrage over Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avanatti insisting his client Julie Swetnick accused Kavanaugh of running a gang-rape sex-ring. Once Avanatti went over the deep end, it wrecked the credibility of all accusers, realizing the extreme partisan nature of the accusations. Kavanaugh got over the top because Democrats, the media and #MeToo movement insisted on an FBI investigation.

When you think of what saved Kavanaugh, it boiled down Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Az.) insisting with Democrats’ pressure on an FBI investigation. Democrats, the media and #MeToo movement were already pivoting away from sex abuse to his past drinking habits in high school and at Yale. When the FBI started a supplemental background check on Kavanaugh last Friday, you knew they’d find nothing new. But Democrats, after insisting on the FBI investigation, sabotaged themselves. Had the FBI investigation not taken place, it’s doubtful Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Az.) or Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) would have voted for Kavanaugh. Insisting on the FBI investigation upended Democrats’ attempt to derail the Kavanaugh nomination. Collins said it best yesterday telling senators that the rule-of-law was more important than one woman’s allegations.
