LOS ANGELES.–Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) likes to call former President Donald Trump a “pathologial liar” that can’t be trusted, saying yesterday in West Lebanon, N.H. that Trump said in campaign rally in Charolotte, N.C. that Vice President Kamala was more liberal than him. Bernie likes to split hairs and said you see, Trump lied again because he’s more progressive than Kamala. “It’s not true. Once again. Trump is lying,” Bernie said about Kamala being more liberal than him. “Let me just simply say that for better or worse, Kamala Harris is not more progressive than I am,” Bernie insisted, showing he’s either losing it or just likes to gaslight voters. Voters know that Kamala was one of the most liberal members of the U.S. Senate and, since Vice President in 2021, has backed all of Biden’s progressive policies. Sanders, considers himself a proud “Democratic socialist,” putting him far to the left.
Sanders made a feisty run for president in 2016 against former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, only to find that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fl.), formerly head of the Democratic National Committee [DNC], sabotaged him with Hillary’s super delegates, ending his 2016 run. Bernie ran on a campaign of “Medicare for All,” giving every man, women and child in America Medicare, ending private health insurance as we know it. Hillary ran on a platform to continue Obamacare, the insurance program that never fulfilled its promise of providing affordable, quality health insurance to every American. So when it comes to Bernie, he thinks the government should pay for everything when it comes to pensions and health care, not private employers or health insurance. When Bernie says he’s more progressive than Kamala, it’s only splitting hairs.
Bernie used to oppose foreign wars but backed Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine against the Kremlin. Instead of spending government cash on health care and pension benefits, Bernie showed he can be a war hawk just like many of his colleagues on Capitol Hill. “This is the most important election, I think, in our lifetimes. I will do everything that I can to see that Donald Trump is defeated,” said Bernie. Bernie was the only Senator over the last two weeks to admonish Democrats looking to replace Biden with another candidate. Bernie, who says that only Trump lies, told voters that Biden was perfectly fit for a second term, lambasting Democrats for the “bickering” and accept that Biden would be Democrats’ 2024 nominee. Well how did that work out for Bernie, who only last week was pushing to give Biden another term in office?
Once 70 million Americans saw Biden June 27 at the CNN debate in Atlanta speak incoherently in disjointed sentences, they knew Democrats had engaged in a massive cover-up over his fitness for president. “I would hope that when he said, ‘Can you believe that?” people said no,” Bernie said about Trump saying Kamala was more liberal than him. “The American people will not and cannot accept a president who is a pathological liar, somebody who believes that women should not be able to control their own bodies, somebody who in the midst of massive heat-waves thinks climate change is a hoax and somebody who actually does not believe in democracy, has not said that he will accept these election results if he loses. So for all of those reasons, Trump must be defeated.” Bernie mentions nothing about Biden’s inflation and multibillion dollar war in Ukraine with the Kremlin.
Bernie uses his old age presentation to gaslight voters when he knows that the Supreme Court, not Trump, overturned June 24, 2022 Roe v. Wade. Trump’s responsible for his Supreme Court picks but, ultimately, the justices must decide on U.S. laws under the Constitution. When it comes to climate change, Trump doesn’t think that Sanders’ Green New Deal does anything over than fuel more inflation and make energy and all things less affordable. When it comes to Democracy, what’s likely to kill U.S. democracy are unending foreign wars that destabilize world peace. Biden and Harris can’t get along with 71-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin and 71-year-old Chinese President Xi Jinping. Does Biden think it’s good for democracy for the U.S. to fight a two-front world war with Russia and China, destabilizing the post WW II world order?
When Sanders calls Trump a “pathological liar,” is he talking about himself but too oblivious to notice it? Saying that he’s more progressive than Kamala doesn’t mean that she’s not a very close second place to when it comes to Bernie’s socialist ways. Biden, Kamala and Bernie all want to tax the rich to fund their vast array of social programs, even if it goes to illegal immigrants. All three agree that the U.S. border must remain open as a matter of humanitarian policy for the United States. “The voters—and the voters alone—decide the nominee of the Democrat Party,” Biden said last week in a letter to Congres. “No the press, not the pundits, not the big donors, not any selected group of individuals, no matter well-intentioned,” Biden said about picking the party’s nominee. Well those Democrat principles were tossed out the window when Biden was forced out.
