LOS ANGELES.–Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), 64, goes on fake news Hill newspaper to defend his 58-year-old fellow Jan. 6 House Select Committee member former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) who recently claimed in the Hill that Trump committed the worse crimes of any president in U.S. history. Schiff and Cheney have something in common as Democrats and Republicans, their abiding hatred of Trump. They would commit any act of treachery, any act of treason, to see Trump removed from office. Schiff, of all people, now tells the fake new Hill newspaper “that no one better hold Trump accountable,” continuing his twisted attacks on Trump all related to his fake Democrat narrative that Trump planned, organized and orchestrated the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection. Schiff knows that Trump was acquitted in the U.S. Senate Feb. 13, 2021 of the impeachment charge, “incitement of insurrection.”
House Democrats led by 84-yar-old former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) were furious that Trump was acquitted after 61-year-old Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) gave all the evidence as lead impeachment manager to the Senate and lost his case. Pelosi, Schiff, Raskin, Schiff and Cheney were all so determined to get Trump, they launched the Jan. 6 House Select Committee to investigate Trump for the next 18 month and present their fake case against Trump of 72-year-old Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland. Garland received the committee’s findings that Trump planned, organized and orchestrated the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, promptly appointing Special Counsel Jack Smith to file charges. Smith took the ball with the committee’s concocted evidence against Trump and charged him with trying to overturn the 2020 election and a harboring classified documents.
Both of Smith’s cases have been dropped, Smith claims because it violates Department of Justice policy to charge a sitting president but not because the cases lack legal merit. Smith’s cases were based on the committee’s biased conclusions but he gladly took the committee’s findings that Trump was guilty of planning, organizing and executing the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Even though Trump was acquitted in the U.S. Senate of “incitement of insurrection.” “This is not just about retribution against those of us on the committee,” Schiff told MNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “This is about sending a message that no one better hold to account in his second term . . . He is intent on trying to break down these checks and balances in our system,” Schiff said. Schiff and other Democrats accused Trump of Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election.
Schiff conspired with former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham to use her opposition research AKA “The Steele Dossier” to charge Trump with Russian collusion. Schiff worked hard with Special Counsel Robert Mueller over 22 months, spending $40 million using the DOJ’s best prosecutor Andrew Weitzman to find that that there was no “collusion” with Russia. Mueller knew from the beginning there was not collusion because he knew Hillary’ charges against Trump were fabrications yet took the case anyway. Now Schiff defends Liz Cheney who’s been making defamatory comments about Trump using the Jan. 6 House Select Committee to justify her false statements. “That’s where the danger lies more so than to the members of the committee,” Schiff said, referring to Trump’s NBC “Meet the Press” interview where he said Cheney should be in jail.
Schiff claimed he had personal evidence that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election, even after Mueller cleared Trump of any wrongdoing with Russia. Schiff never produced evidence but continues his unfounded accusations about Trump’s Russian collusion. “All of us that worked on the Jan. 6 committee are proud of the work that we did,” Schiff said who worked on the committee. Cheney and Schiff are two of the most egregious propagandists in the Democrat Party against Trump. They both worked feverishly to spread fake Democrat talking points to calling him a “dictator” to help 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris get elected. “Here is the truth: Donald Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election and seize power,” said Cheney. With Smith dropping his cases, Cheney is out of line continuing to beat a dead horse.
Schiff and Cheney don’t care about facts or the truth about anything. They both worked feverishly to stop Trump from getting elected but they both failed. Voters woke up in 2024 that Democrats and the U.S. press gaslighted the public about Trump to help Kamala get elected. Voters rebelled, handing Trump a landslide victory but that doesn’t stop the fake news from taking reports from anti-Trump propagandists that want to continue making false statements to the public. When Cheney says “here’s the truth . . .” she’s talking about her internal fantasy world not based on facts but a fabricated Democrat narrative that failed to convince voters in 2024. If Trump’s new Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi finds credible evidence that members of the Jan. 6 House Select Committee fabricated evidence or skewed findings to give Smith fraudulent probable cause, they should face investigation.
