LOS ANGELES.–At a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, 78-year-old President Donald Trump asked the audience whether it was OK for him to hit 60- year-old former First Lady Michelle Obama, who, on Saturday in Norristown, Pa., delivered 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris’s talking points why Trump must be defeated Nov. 5. Trump asked the Raleigh crows whether it was OK for him to hit back at Michelle. Trump talked a lot during his 2016 campaign about how former President Barack Obama had the Justice Department and FBI tap his phones. Trump was a party to an FBI counterintelligence investigation started by the White House and opened up by 63-year-old former FBI Director James Comey, someone Trump fired May 9, 2017 for leaking phony stories about Trump to the New York Time and Washington Post, accusing Trump of being a Russian agent.
Comey got all his probable cause from 77-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton bogus “Steele Dossier,” used by the government to investigate Trump and his 2016 campaign. Looking back on it now, it’s clear that Obama ordered his former Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch to open up the counterintelligence investigation to discredit Trump’s 2016 campaign to get Hillary elected. DOJ and FBI officials are not supposed use fraudulent probable cause to launch FBI investigations or prosecute political enemies. But that’s exactly what Obama did in 2016 to help get Hillary elected. Somehow Obama avoided any criminal liability for vaunted government agencies to investigate and charge political enemies. That’s where Trump finds himself again watching Special Council Jack Smith charge him with multiple felonies over crimes he never committed.
Obama and his then Vice President Joe Biden had not problem letting the government prosecute Trump with the attempt to help Hillary get elected. Things have only gotten worse for Trump when you consider he’s actually been charged by Smith in 2024, where, in 2016, Trump was only investigated. “Michelle . . . I was so nice to her out respect. She hit me the other day. I was going to day, ‘Am I allowed to hit her now?’ They say: ‘Take it easy, sir. My geniuses , they said, ‘Just take it easy.’ What do you mean? She said that about me. I can’t hit back. Just relax,” telling the Raleigh crowd that he knows Michelle said some bad things about him. “Instead of someone who’s only in it for themselves, we will have a president who’s in it for you,” Michelle told the Norristown crowd. Kamala has been telling voters that Trump’s only out for himself and his billionaire friends.
Michelle went on in Norristown to deliver many of Kamala’s most insulting talking points against Trump. “Instead of someone who’d accelerate the dismantling of our women’s reproductive health system, we will have a president who believes in our freedom to make decisions about our own bodies,” Michelle said. Michelle knows that Trump didn’t personally end Roe v. Wade, only appointed Supreme Court justices that overturned Roe v. Wade. Kamala blames Trump but surely know that the Supreme Court operates independently. If Kamala gets elected, she would work with the House and Senate, assuming she has a Democrat majority, to pack the court with more liberal justices. Kamala already said she would end the 60-vote filibuster rule, making it a simple majority to pass legislation, including a national bill legalizing abortion in the United States.
Michelle said much more in Norristown that that bothered Trump. “Instead of a criminal and an abuser, we can have a president who has prosecuted lawbreakers and protected victims,” Michelle said, referring to Trump recent conviction for financial fraud in two New York courts, one convicting him of 34 felonies related to a payout to Stormy Daniels in 2016. Trump has appealed his conviction and could very well win his appeal. “Instead of someone who cozies up to dictators and denies elections, we will have a president who will work to strengthen and expand our democracy, and do it all with warmth, joy and grace,” Michelle said about Trump. Michelle doesn’t tell her audience that Kamala can’t get along with U.S. adversaries and back the reckless-and-costly war in Ukraine, costing the U.S. Treasury over $200 billion in an unending war Kamala promises to keep going.
Trump often kids around with his audiences, knowing that they back all back his policies, especially when it comes to the economy and wasteful foreign wars. Michelle delivers all of Kamala’s talking points about Trump destroying democracy and taking away women’s rights. But what’s Trump supposed to do about Supreme Court decisions? He’s the president picking Supreme Court justice like any other president. But Michelle wants voters to blame Trump for ending Roe v. Wade, a technical decision made by qualified Supreme Court justices. Michelle says Trump “cozies up to dictators,” when he had workable relations with U.S. adversaries. Joe and Kamala have left the country with war with the Kremlin and the Mideast set ablaze. Does Michelle think it’s cozying up with dictators to keep the U.S. out of foreign wars or keep the economy growing with runaway inflation?
