LOS ANGELES.–Desperate to sell his “victory plan” before the U.S. election, Ukraine’s 46-year-old President Volodymyr can’t control his mouth heading into the 2024 U.S. election, slamming 40-year-old GOP Vice President pick J.D. Vance for saying the war should end with Ukraine compromising with the Kremlin. Zelensky rejects all peace proposals that have Ukraine ceding any land to Russia, even though three years of war have lost some 20-25% of Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Zelensky wants the U.S. to buy into his “victory plan” that has Ukraine continuing to receive long-range weapons with which Zelensky plans to hit deep inside Russian homeland. Zelensky has operated under strict rules of engagement that he would keep the battle inside Ukraine, something that changed Aug. 6 when he decided to move at least 10,000 Ukrainian troops into Russia’s Kursk border region.
Zelensky thinks he can still buffalo 81-year-old President Joe Biden, his primary benefactor since the war began Feb. 24, 2022. Biden decided to end decades of diplomacy, détente and arms control to fund proxy war in Ukraine against the Kremlin. Zelensky makes no mention of how the Ukraine War has all but destroyed U.S.-Russian relations. Biden is the first and only post WW II president to go to war with the Kremlin, using Zelensky’s many excuses of saving European democracy. Zelensky sold Biden on the idea that 71-year-old President Voldymyr Zelensky is trying to reestablish the old Soviet Union, first taking Ukraine. Zelensky’s excuses are to out-of-touch with reality, that he doesn’t know what he’s saying. One minute he’s defending European democracy, the next minute he’s preventing Putin from seizing more European countries, all complete rubbish.
Zelenky told Biden in 2022 that Putin suffered from a terminal illness and his Russian military was near collapse that was his narrative back then. When Zelensky promised to oust every Russian soldier from Ukraine in 2023, he called it his “counteroffensive.” Zelensky said his new U.S., U.K. and NATO arms, including the most sophisticated battle tanks, would enable him to drive Russia out by the end of 2023. Well, that never happened, now Zelensky has his new “victory plan,” claiming that he’ll force Russia to leave Ukraine in utter defeat. All the Russian gains in the Donbas region of southeastern Ukraine proves that Zelensky blows smoke like a Texas barbeque, telling Biden everything he wants to hear. Zelensky ripped J.D. Vance for echoing 78-year-old former President Donald Trump who said he would have the Ukraine War resolved in 24 hours after winning the election.
Zelensky now slams Trump and Vance’s plan to end the Ukraine War because it would involve territorial concessions to Russia. “If this were a plan, then America is headed for global conflict,” Zelensky told the New Yorker. “I would imply that whoever asserts control over territory—not the rightful owner but whoever came in a month or a week ago with a machine gun in hand—is the one who’s in charge.” Zelensky called J.D. Vance a “radical” for daring to suggest that a permanent peace can be negotiated at the table. Zelensky knows that NATO would invoke Article 5 to protect any current NATO member, forcing Putin, or any other tyrant, to take on the Transatlantic partnership. Zelensky has been told Ukraine won’t be joining NATO anytime soon, so he can’t count on NATO defense. Telling Biden that the world be unsafe if he doesn’t pony up more cash-and-weapons is outrageous.
Zelensky can’t stomach the fact that he made a horrific decision Feb. 24, 2022 to take on the Kremlin, losing as much as 25% of Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Zelensky faces growing opposition to his perpetual war plans, only floating his “victory plan” to buy himself more time, when dissension mounts within his ranks back at home. Rumors indicate that Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko isn’t happy with the way Zelensky has managed the war and seeks a change of leadership. So, when Zelensky pushes his new “victory plan” the urgency is more related to a brewing coup d’etat. Zelensky told the New Yorker that J.D.’s plan would jeopardize world order everywhere, including the Middle East and Asia. Zelensky has gone over the top with his endless excuses for not settling the conflict. If Zelensky gets his way, the war would rage on indefinitely, threatening WW III and nuclear war.
Zelensky repackages his old failed arguments for continuing the war, making the same promises he made from Day One. Zelensky said with enough cash-and-arms he can vanquish the beleaguered Russian military. Putin never had a terminal illness and the Russian military is stronger than ever, despite all the hardships faced by Russia enduring U.S. and EU sanctions. “A strong Ukraine will force Putin to the negotiating table. I’m convinced of that,” Zelensky, said, talking himself into many things as long as the U.S. foots the bill for his war with the Kremlin. What’s obvious to any neutral military expert is that Ukraine is nowhere close to vanquishing the Russian military. More cash-and-arms only prolong Ukraine’s destruction and suffering of the Ukrainian people. Zelensky proved once against he’s all about getting a much cash-and-arms for Ukraine regardless of the outcome.
