LOS ANGELES.–Iran’s Yemen-based Houthi rebels boasted today that it struck Israel with a hypersonic missile, something seriously doubted by U.S. and foreign military experts. Houthi Al-Massirah TV reported on hitting Israel with a hypersonic missile, raising fears of a regional conflict from the nearly year-long conflict with Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netayahu vowed to get even with the Houthis something the U.S. would welcome because of Houthi terror on commercial shipping in the Red Sea. U.S. and U.K. efforts to attack Houthi rebel targets in the Port of Aden have amounted to next to nothing. Maybe Israel getting involved in Houth attacks would be welcomed by the Pentagon. “I congratulate you on your success in reaching the depth of the enemy entity,” said 62-year-old Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar deep with Hamas military tunnels under Gaza.

Sinwar has only disinformation and propaganda left now that most of Gaza has been destroyed, but, more importantly, most of Hamas’s military capabilities. All the fear of a regional war with Iran’s proxy groups, including Yemen’s Houthi rebels, Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia and Hamas terrorists have been grossly exaggerated. Sinwar acts like he’s in charge of a vast army capable to inflict major damage on Israel. “I assure you that the resistance is fine. We have prepared ourselves to fight a long battle of attrition,” Sinwar said, trying to save face, but unable to come out from underneath his tunnels to show he’s still commanding the Hamas military. Whatever missile Yemen fired at Israel, including the hypersonic Palestine 2, was intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome and blown up instantly. Yet if you listen to Sinwar, Houthi’s scored a big hit on the Jewish State.

Houthi’s claim that the Paletine 2 hypersonica missile had a range of 2,150 kilometers [1,340 miles] with speeds up to Mach 16, 16-times the speed of sound. Houthi’s claimed their new missile eluded Israel’s air defense system and made a direct hit on Israel’s population centers. Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] confirmed that the regular, non-hypersonic missile was blown up by the Iron Dome system without a hitch. “It possesses high ability to maneuver beyond the world’s newest and most powerful air defense systems, including the Iron Dome,” said the Houhis, blowing more smoke. Pentagon officials confirmed that tracking systems showed that the missile was not hypersonic and was destroyed by the Iron Dome missile defense system. Houthis have disrupted commercial shipping in the Red Sea, costing shipping companies millions and extra time to avoid the route.

Hamas has skilled propagandists seeking to condemn Israeli for “genocide” in the Gaza Strip, refusing to verify any of the fake casualty data on civilian collateral damage. When you think about it, Hamas has sought as much collateral damage as possible to condemn the Israel government, when they’ve done a masterful job like on other military to avoid civilian casualties. All the pro-Palestine protests is Israel, the U.S. and around the world are fading because Hamas is recognized as a ruthless terrorist group that spent the last 18 years looting the Gaza Strip, literally stealing its donor cash earmarked for rebuilding to enrich Hamas leadership like the late Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh worth about $4 billion. No foreign government wants Hamas to stay in power and lead the Gaza government. Yet not one foreign power, including the U.S., has told Hamas to get out.

Yemen’s Houth rebels have enough of their own problems hijacking and blowing up commercial shops in the Red Sea. Pentagon officials would welcome anything Israel could do to neutralize Iran-funded Houthi rebels. Netanyahu puts low priority on Houthis while the confronts periodic attack by Iran’s Lebanon-based backed Hezbollah militia. Since the Hamas War started, Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah has fired thousand of rockets into Israel, causing death and destruction to Israeli settlers. Netanyahu finds himself with a welcomed breather against all the global criticism with Israeli polls showing that he’s picked up seats for his Likud Party in the Knesset, the Israeli parliament. Netanyahu still faces pressure to return remaining hostages back to their families.

Military experts think it’s a matter of time before Israeli dismantles what’s left of Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Netanyahu refuses to leave the Philadelphi Corridor when much of Hamas’s bombing making materials come from terrorists in the Sinai Peninsula. Military expert Fabian Hinz, an expert on Iranian missiles at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said the Houthi missile shot into Israel was not hypersonic but a solid-fuel medium range ballistic missile that the Houthis showed off in 2022 called the Hatem. Netanyahu clearly has the upper hand in Gaza, driving Sinwar deeper underground while he watches Hamas terrorists dismantled by the IDF. It’s up to the international community, including peace brokers Egypt and Qatar to send Sinwar a message that he must get out of Gaza. White House officials keep pressuring Netanyahu to sign a ceasefire with a terror group.
