LOS ANGELES.–Meeting in Washington, 62-year-old British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and 81-year-old President Joe Biden are close to announcing a change in Ukraine policy, granting the request of 46-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to use British and U.S. long-range missiles to strike deep inside Russian territory. Starmer acts clueless why 71-year-old President Vladimir Putin would expel British diplomats after Starmer fully agreed that Zelensky should do what he wished with British and U.S. weapons. Calling the decision to expel British diplomats “completely baseless,” U.K. official defended Zelensky’s right to strike inside Russia in what Putin calls a dangerous escalation to the war. Biden should not make any national security decisions knowing his current cognitive state, leaving him with too many questions to make those decisions as commander-in-chief.

Biden and Starmer know their decision to allow Ukraine to continue striking Russia with U.S., British and NATO weapons deep inside Russia could escalate the conflict into a full-scale war requiring U.S. and British troops. Biden has four months left in his term before he heads for retirement. Does he really want to risk handing either 71-year-old former President Donald Trump or 59-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris a full-scale war in Europe? Putin said yesterday that approving missile strikes with U.S., U.K. and NATO weapons deep inside Russia would be an act of war prompting the Russian Federation to respond with military action. Biden has been leaning toward allowing Zelensky to expand rules-of-engagement to strike the Russian homeland with U.S., U.K. and NATO weapons. Starmer said yesterday that Ukraine had a right to defend itself.

Putin warned Biden in 2022 for months leading up to the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion to discus new security arrangements for Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told U.S. officials for months that it was not acceptable for the U.S. to arm Ukraine. So when Putin finally had enough of Western threats to the Russian homeland, he moved 200,000 Russian troops into Ukrainian territory. Putin was willing to negotiate an end to the invasion in March 2022 but Zelensky opted for war with the Kremlin. Putin said yesterday that if the West decides to start striking deep inside the Russian homeland, he would be forced to directly strike Western targets. Putin said it would alter the conflict if the U.S., U.K. and NATO approves Ukraine’s missile or drone strikes deep inside Russian territory. U.S. officials and the press can’t fathom crossing a red line for the Kremlin.

Starmer said allegations of British spying were baseless, not realizing the Putin is more concerned about Britain approving U.S., U.K. or NATO missile strikes into Russian territory. Zelensky said it was needed to strike inside Russia to send a deterrent message aimed a winning future peace talks. “The facts revealed give grounds to consider the activities of British diplomats sent to Moscow by the directorate as threatening the security of the Russian Federation,” said the FSB [Federal Security Service] in a statement. Russian officials think the U.S. and U.K. are threatening the Russian homeland, agreeing that Ukraine can continue to strike deep inside the Russia. Starmer wonders why six U.K. diplomats were kicked out of Moscow by the FSB. “I would not expect any major announcement between Biden and Starmer in that regard,” said National Security Spokesman John Kirby.

Kirby knows the U.S. and U.K. walk on thin ice in the Ukraine War with the Kremlin. When Putin moved his forces into Ukraine Feb. 24, 2022, U.S., U.K. and NATO diplomats were shocked. What more does Biden and Stamer need to know about a decision to allow Ukraine to strike deep inside the Russian homeland? “The English did not take our hints about the need to stop this practice of carrying out intelligence activities inside Russia, so we decided to expel these six to begin with,” said an FSB employee, kept anonymous by Rossiya 24-hour state TV channel. “There is no change to our view on the provision of long-range strike capabilities for Ukraine to use inside of Russia,” Kirby said. Biden and Starmer aren’t likely to make any decisions before the Sept. 24 U.N. General Assembly. Biden and Starmer could escalate the Ukraine War into a full-blown conflict.

Biden-Harris are walking on thin ice ready to approve new rules of engagement to allow U.S., U.K. and NATO weapons to strike the Russian homeland. Last week 74-year-old Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Ukraine’s recent invasion of the Kursk border region and missile and drone strike inside Russia have prompted the Kremlin to invoke its first-strike nuclear doctrine. If Putin gets pushed too far, he could hit Kiev with a nuke. What’s the U.S. or NATO going to do with that? Start a full-scale thermonuclear war in Europe and the U.S.? China and Brazil had the right idea to suggest a news peace plan, promptly rejected as Russian-centric by Zelensky. Members of the European Union and NATO should think twice before the endorse a plan to grant Zelensky the right to use U.S., U.K. and NATO arms to strike inside the Russian Federation.
